I have had a poor experience at the Boston SkinMD. Not only did staff cancel multiple appointments over the course of my treatments but the last one resulted in a week of swelling, headaches, and blurry vision. The young people using the equipment are not experienced or medical professionals of anny sort and there is a lack of medical supervision. SCAMMERS.... I had a very bad experience with this place. I booked an appointment for neogen treatment costing $3,000, scheduled for a month later on 12/3/2025. Two weeks before the appointment 11/19/2025, I had to cancel due to personal reasons. Later, I was shocked to see that my credit card was charged the full $3,000 for a service I never used. When I contacted them, they told me that as soon as you book an appointment, they automatically charge your credit card, and it doesn't matter if you cancel. I explained that I canceled ahead of time, but they said it was already booked and they had already taken the money. They refused to issue a full refund and only said they would "talk to finance," without any guarantee. They also said we can try to convince finance team to refund you a 2500 and you will only owe a 500$. This is extremely unprofessional and feels like a scam. I do not recommend this place at all. As a luxury skincare service, speaking to potential customers with kindness and patience is the bare minimum. I picked up one of their follow up calls in the middle of a busy day, and had a few questions about services based on a text thread that happened in July. The representative seemed frustrated that I hadn't booked anything. I understand that you're trying to sell a service, yet speaking with impatience and a demanding tone about when we're going to book or when we'll RSVP to your event is counterproductive. So I don't usually write reviews because I am busy but Dr. Flashner and his team gave me the best filler results (and fixed my fillers from other places) so I wanted to write this so other people didn't waste their time and money trying out other places. I used to go to Ideal Image, but the procedures take so long and are more expensive with only ok results. Dr. Flashner puts the filler where I did it and doesn't waste the syringe or my money, whereas Ideal Image only treated one area and threw away my syringe with filler inside! I was pissed that I paid so much just to waste some. I went to another place for some cheaper lip fillers and got the dreaded duck lips. Dr. Flashner fixed them, without removing my filler so I could keep the volume. He is awesome (and so are the girls on his team) I will never go to any other place. SKIN MD! read more

I just started going to SkinMD in February and I am so happy with the treatments I've had. I was an acne sufferer for years that left me with some pretty noticeable scarring on my cheeks, so I had the CO2RE laser treatment done. Kayla and Jenna were both so knowledgeable, friendly, and were very upfront with the treatment and recovery process. I have been going to Skin MD for laser hair removal on my legs, and I must say... life changing stuff people! My skin is very light, and my hair very dark and course. I would shave in the morning and have a 5:00 shadow on my legs by dinner time! Also, even after a fresh shave you could still see visible stubble under my skin. The kicker was that I recently slipped a disc and am not physically able to bend forward to shave anymore. I actually saw immediate results, despite the fact that my treatment plan still includes several more visits before I'm done. After just the first treatment the difference was unbelievable! I've gotten 3 under my belt now, and I can go WEEKS and not have to shave! The hair that does come in eventually is so much finer and much more sparse. The skin on my legs, which used to be basically permanent razor burn bumps is soft and smooth for the first time in my life! I've been seeing Genevieve for my treatments and she is just the sweetest, but everyone I've met there is super friendly and nice. I wish I had done this years ago! read more
