After a delicious cone of ice cream at Gray's, we ended up down the street and saw this gorgeous orchard on the left and decided we needed to explore. Right off the bat I loved the crushed shell driveway, and thought it was both eco-friendly, and a super beautiful nautical nod. The orchards were gorgeous, and we bought the small bag to go pick our winners. After tromping through the rows of apples, we also picked up some fresh pumpkins to cook, and some amazing smelling cantaloupe. Prices were insane, I think the pumpkin was a couple dollars, and the melon was another dollar or two, and the bag of apples was $20? We had such a great time at this farm, and really enjoyed our impromptu pre-fall farm day. Once home, we made a French browned butter apple cobbler, and cubed the melon immediately. The extra apples were chopped and frozen for the next food project, and the pumpkin will be a pecan shortbread pumpkin pie. Amazing farm, great prices, and delicious produce. Will definitely be coming back!
