If you're looking for straightforward, fall time fun... Escobar's Corn Maze is the place for you. My friends and I made the trek to the East Bay to partake on a picture perfect, blue sky day (the maze is generally closed when it's raining). Lots of available parking in a nearby field so I wouldn't recommend bringing your low rider here. There's a small shed where you can buy your entry tickets for the maze. The line was somewhat lengthy and they only accept cash on-site, so we opted to purchase our tickets online. That allowed us to quickly check in, grab a map, and find our way to the entrance. The maze itself was divided into two phases, so presumably, after finishing Phase 1, you could decide if you had it in you to traverse Phase 2. We passed many a tense moment among lost families arguing about which way to go so I imagine breaking this 8.5 acre maze into two helps keep people civil. The maze itself was well maintained. Couple narrow spots but for the most part, we could pass by others easily going every which direction. Numbered signs are posted throughout so if you do get lost, you have an idea if you're progressing. The maps are true maps so if you follow them closely, you can find your way to the exit easily. You could ditch the map too and truly lose yourself. We did get turned around at one point but what fun would it have been if we didn't get at least a little bit lost. At $10 per person, I thought it was a fair value for our time spent there. No kids in the group but there were some other available activities including leisurely hay rides, a cow train (that was bombing through the fields at breakneck speed), and a pumpkin patch. There were some snacks available at the ticket booth but nothing fall-themed (ex. bags of chips, cookies, etc). Reminded me of snacks available at a little league game. Port-a-potties available on site which was a welcome convenience. read more

We took the grandkids for an adventure ~ walking the Corn Maze. Over 2 miles of trails. They both (9 & 7 years old) loved it. We received our instruction at the beginning of the maze and set out on our adventure. They did a wonderful job setting this up. The kids loved it!!! read more

Went here during the weekend for the corn maze. One of the largest mazes in RI being 8.5 acres. There are two bridges in the maze to see above the corn field. The paths are plenty wide. The maze was surprising easy taking only 25 minutes. There are markers in the maze to guide you towards the end. They provide maps as well. read more

So fun! We came here for their annual Fourth of July Fireworks, and I honestly felt like I was in a community theatre production of Oklahoma or Footloose (yes, I was living out my respective Ado Annie and Rusty dreams - comedy mezzos, represent!). It's a super cute family owned farm, and you can feel that the minute you step onto the spacious grounds and meet Jean, the smiling proprietress who makes everyone feel at home. ALSO THERE ARE COWS! I did get to hang out with two prized 4H Jersey Cows and nearly cried at how cute they were! #MooMoo The black and white cows are equally as adorable. The fireworks were impressive for a homegrown festivity that's grown into a holiday staple for the Aquidneck Island community. It was fun to see friends old and new gathered on the field to watch the spectacle, and especially since the fireworks got rained out on the 4th and were too foggy to see over the harbor on the 5th. They do the fireworks on the Saturday following the Fourth, so the weather was a lot better, and we got our patriotic experience, albeit a few days later. This is for the corn maze -- Cute family outing! Definitely geared towards family or younger crowd! Maze was pretty easy. Absolutely adore that they allow dogs love love love! I went with a group of three dogs! The maze is in two parts - so if you wanted a short maze or needed to leave , you have that choice. There are tractor rides and places to pose for pictures! It was clean! Picnics tables and food and drink to purchase. Cash only on site. Plenty of field parking. Easy to find! read more

Cute place. Easy parking. The corn maze is huge and really hard! Kids loved it, even the older ones. They have snacks and drinks at the ticket window. Cow train was fun for the tiny kids. Hay ride sold out so buy tix online before u go. Price was fair. Porta potties clean and enough for everybody. Spent about 1 1/2 hrs there. Easy to find in Portsmouth. Worth going at least once. read more

October 15th and their field was already full of rotten pumpkins. We're still charging full price. I even called before we drove out with our excited 3 and 5 year olds to pick pumpkins and they said they had lots of great pumpkins left. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! read more

Beware of this business. I've been to the corn maze twice and both times ran into a problem. The first year we were having a corporate event and I emailed the farm to make sure it was ok for us to come after work. It was all squared away and when I got there (40 minutes before sunset) we were told it was too late to enter the maze (even though I had already cleared it) The next year we decided to try again with another corporate event. We checked the website and they said they would close at 6. We got there at around 520pm after work and there appeared to be a fundraiser for the local elementary school. When we went to purchase tickets the woman said they were no longer selling tickets unless you were a part of that elementary school. When I explained that we had a group of 15 people that were willing to give her business money she gave me some bogus excuse about how people had to be out of the maze at a certain time so she couldn't let us in. This was obviously a lie since she sold tickets to children and their parents right after us and they promptly entered the maze. I don't appreciate being lied to and tricked. This is the last time we will ever try to do this corn maze. Both times we drove almost 30 minutes just to be told we can't go in. What a waste of time and absolutely rude and despicable customer service. Guess they didn't need our $120!!! read more

Passing through town, saw a sign off the road, and drove on down. Didn't see a closed sign until we were downhill already. Decided to take pictures of ourselves next to the large decoration. Owner drove down and gave us 20 minutes before she would call the cops. Leaving a 5 star review because she looks like the shoot first ask questions second type, so her gift is your life. read more

If I could give zero stars I would ... because that's the amount of experience I've had at this place ... zero. They would not allow our big group of excited maze adventurers in because of a supposed school event . There was no indication of this on the website so we were all severely misled . I will never return and would discourage others from going as well. Very disappointed . read more

Five stars for the maze! It has two phases and the whole thing took our group of four adults about 45 minutes. They provide maps if you want one and have people in the maze available to give directions. We were also hoping to get pumpkins and maybe it's just late in the season but the selection was pretty picked over (no pun intended). They sell candy and some snacks but no fall-festive donuts or ciders. The location was easy to find off the highway and there was ample parking. read more

What I don't understand is how this farm refused to sell tickets to me and several of my colleagues because of "safety reasons" yet had no safety concerns letting an entire elementary school continue to buy tickets. Had they put on their website that they were expecting a giant group of elementary students attending the maze at this date and time , there would be no issue. It was upsetting to be turned away for something that my office was really looking forward to attending. We will just find a new corn maze next fall that is more organized. read more
