The doctor did a great job. The entire staff and experience was great. This is a little further out for me but is well worth it!

I've had laser hair removal done on other parts of my body, including my lower legs, at other locations and have never had such a painful experience as when I got my upper legs treated here. The machine they use appears outdated in terms of technology and is this heavy, iron/ hammer looking device. I commented on the device looking heavy and the esthetician agreed that it gives her a workout. On my 1st session, my left leg had some red marks afterwards and the esthetician said it should fade away. Well, those marks ended up scabbing over, so they were actually burn marks. I informed her of this at my 2nd session and she supposedly lowered the setting. I had to stop her multiple times throughout the session because I was in so much pain. It hurt more than all the brazilian waxes I've ever had combined. That was my 2nd and last visit. As you can see from the pictures, both my thighs were burned and now I have permanent scars. read more

I came to this spa because I had a groupon and ended up really loving Ashleigh so I stuck around for other things. To start, I love how clean this place is. You walk in and it's a nice and bright office space. Everyone is quick to check you in and very friendly. Ashleigh answers all my questions and is really patient with me. After my groupon was up, I ended up wanting to continue my sessions here so I bought more sessions and paid for the ultra-sonic procedure to remove some moles as well. I have a lot of little ones and I'm bothered by it having light skin... the dark black spots really stick out. When I ask questions about my melasma or tattoo removal, Ashleigh is very informative and gives me honest advice. I also inquired about botox and she was very real with me. I purchased a special package deal around Christmas for a microdermabrasion, hydrofacial, radiofrequency and a Vitamin B-12 shot. I called and made an appointment and the gal on the phone suggested I do the microdermabrasion and hydrofacial during the first appointment and the radiofrequency and B-12 shot at a subsequent appointment. Their office is located in a medical plaza. Upon entering the suite, you notice the place is beautiful and modern looking with lots of reading material on different med-spa procedures. After filling out some paperwork, I was taken back to a treatment room by the esthetician who took a brief history of my skin type/skin care regimen and also what outcomes I was looking for regarding my face. I let her know I had some sensitive skin and had a pretty basic skin care routine, nothing fancy, no facials or other treatments that were done regularly. She began with the microdermabrasion, which I thought would be rougher but actually felt quite nice. She took her time, was gentle and focused on trouble spots. She the did the hydrofacial, which involves water and auction, which I found a tad bit aggressive on certain areas, especially around my cheeks. Nothing that I couldn't tolerate though. After she was done, I took a look at a mirror and noticed I had some redness. She said it would go away soon. She put a calming mask on my face and let me lay back for a few minutes. The whole experience was a nice and relaxing one. At home though, I noticed the redness was still there and upon closer inspection, saw that I had some broken capillaries under the skin on my lower cheeks, nearer to the mouth, which concerned me. They ended up going away on their own after 2-3 days and my skin felt smooth and radiant for days afterwards. I'll be going back for the radiofrequency and B-12 soon. read more

As a guy, I felt very intimidated at first to walk in to a med spa with an extended plastic surgeon's office attached to it. However, upon enter this beautiful complex all my worries washed away. My esthetician Ashleigh was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Reason for my visit was a laser hair treatment with the Pelo. I have no better words to say than good. Yes, some areas that were treated hurt pretty bad; but I always say ''no pain - no gain''. The treatment overall went very fast and you could smell these hairs being burnt from the root. Whenever I was in insane pain, Asleigh did her best to comfort me with instructed breathing techniques, and generous pauses in between laser shots. I've heard they offer a variety of Med Spa treatments, whereas their surgeon's department is focussed on Cancer Treatments and Facial Plastics. Amazing place, and amazingly friendly. read more

This review is based on the phone call I made to get more information and to schedule a consult. I can't remember her name, but she was so rude over the phone. When I asked if I could have more information in regards to a treatment, she made me feel like an idiot for not really knowing what it entailed. There was a lot of huffing and puffing like she hated her job, was having a bad day, and just couldn't wait to get me off the phone. When it came time to schedule, she didn't give me many options. When I told her I had young kids (needed to make sure I had childcare because she told me kids were not allowed in the office) and that a different day would work (even something further out) she pretty much made it sound like if I just didn't take the appointment then there was absolutely nothing else available. Anyways, I never had a consult. I'm sure the doctor and the rest of the staff are great, but whoever was on the phone that day was a million negative stars. read more

My skin has never looked so good! SkinRenuit has amazing, high-tech treatments at the best prices I've ever seen. I've been getting regular facials since I was in my 20's to treat acne and now brown spots and signs of aging. I've always had some type of issue with my skin. I've received facials all over the world at every price range, but I've never experienced results and service like this. I usually get the microdermabrasion/hydrofacial, which is finished with a customized mask. My pores are completely clean and clear and my skin is smooth and soft. After receiving regular treatments (about every 4-6 weeks) my skin looks smoother and clearer than it's ever been. This summer my brown spots (melasma) started acting up due to not wearing enough sunscreen. Ashleigh suggested the IPL facial. Wow! For the first time in my life I feel comfortable going without wearing makeup. After years of wearing medium to full coverage foundation, I can now get away with a tinted sunscreen. My skin tone is even and it looks like my skin is glowing from within. It even looks and feels a little tighter and firmer. In fact, just had lunch with my girlfriend and she asked me what I did to my skin. She was amazed that it looked so bright and even toned. I can't say enough positive things about SkinRenuit! This is the only place I would go for any skin treatment because I truly trust them. I have battled deep acne scars since I was in my early 20s. I received an intense Fraxel laser treatment by Dr. Ha that helped tremendously- by maybe 35-40% or so- but I was still wanting more help to improve my skin. I started seeing Ashleigh and Aned for Venus Viva laser treatments which, over time, have improved my skin in dramatic ways with very minimal downtime after each treatment. The overall appearance of my skin is incredible compared to how it was- the texture is lightyears better and many of my fine lines have diminished from the laser as well. The ladies are always thoughtful and make sure that my needs are taken care of- they call after treatments to check up, make sure I have all necessary medications, and are clear and thorough with after care instructions. I appreciate the consultative approach. I have had many conversations with Ashleigh about products and practices for my skin that she recommends, but she isn't trying to sell me anything. Ashleigh is such an amazing person!! I originally came in for a hydro facial/microdermabrasion, but after consulting with Ashleigh about my problems, we've decided to switch up my plans to better cater to my skin care needs, which was acne and post acne hyperpigmentation. She mentioned that she has received great results with the peels she's done for others with issues similar to mine. Of course I went for it! She throughly explained to me what she will be doing, how it may feel and what to expect in the next 5 days. Everything was on point! Although my hyperpigmentation still exists, my skin texture is much smoother/softer. I totally understand one peel can do so much, so it's a waiting game until I can go in for the next (higher level) of peel, hopefully we can see dramatic changes at that point. Prior to and after the peel she cleaned my skin with hydro facial, pretty powerful machine to suck out the gunk in your skin. No pain, just the feeling of suction. Ashleigh even tweezed the hairs on my Chiny chin chin lol, she's so sweet! Anyways, Ashleigh is very knowledgable and just so pleasant to be around. I bought the series of 5 microderms, and have used 3 so far, all with Ashleigh. So far I see a HUGE difference in my skin! It is so much clearer and my pores seem smaller. My makeup (Bare Minerals) goes on much smoother and stays longer. I have aging (I'm 50), but oily skin. I have had microderms in the past, but this one feels more beneficial than the others. She does a really really thorough microderm, and then rinses the pores out with water to make sure all the debris is out, again using the microderm machine. Than she applies a cooling mask and lets you sink into the comfortable vibrating bed to relax while listening to relaxing Zen music. Lastly she applies moisturizer and sunscreen. It's not your typical spa facial, as there is no massage and no goopy creams, which usually cause me to breakout. It is definitely a results oriented skin treatment. My skin, mind and spirit feels great when I'm done. Ashleigh is such a sweet, kind and warm person and has never tried to sell me any products. The only change to my skincare she recommended is that I use a Buff Puf ($3.00 on Amazon) and some Retin-A (which I got through my own doctor for $10 co-pay).
