The location is easy to get to with plenty of available parking. However, I wish there was a doggy potty area by the entrance, it's just concrete. The hours are fantastic, from 6AM - 9PM. I have only used the day care service. Note, if you drop off before 7AM and/or pick up after 7PM there is an additional $10 fee. Skiptown is the only place I've found in the Denver area with daycare pick up after 7 PM. Most of the time when I drop off other than early morning there has been a wait for my dog to taken back. To get started you need to download the app. Everything is done thru the app - scheduling daycare, payments, vaccination records & arranging a first time observation visit, which is required. The staff is super friendly & attentive. There have been a couple times that Skiptown called with concerns about my dog. And that I greatly appreciated. I boarded my dog here for one night and left with serious concerns about their basic standards of care. I provided pre-portioned meals with clear written instructions and confirmed them twice -- once over the phone before drop-off and again in person. The instructions were simple and routine. Despite that, my dog was not fed dinner, and her breakfast instructions were only partially followed. More concerning, when I reached out after noticing their app did not show her dinner as completed, I was told she had been fed. That information was incorrect. I also did not receive any of the updates or reports that were expected during her stay, and my message to support went unanswered for approximately 9 hours. At pickup, I was handed back her untouched dinner along with the remaining portion of her breakfast, confirming the instructions had not been followed. When I raised this with staff, the only resolution offered was a credit toward a future stay. It makes me feel way more connected when I'm not there. And the photoshoots they offer are the cutest. I've definitely signed him up for those, too. I got Krypto when he was 12 weeks old, and once he was old enough, we had to try it (I kept seeing ads and was curious). As someone who's always loved dogs, fostered, and now is a dog mom, it really does feel like such a special place. This place is awesome. I wish there was one like this in every city. Since moving to the area we have met a lot of people just from coming here. And our dog has made 4/5 best friends. (The dogs literally start prancing towards each other when they see their friends) You get dog watchers that make a real effort to know every dog and their owners. The dogs play style and make sure the dogs are loved if no one is playing with them. Most of my morning is spent there sitting and working while getting to pet different dogs and then play with mine. Or just let him run around. The morning crowd is more working groups. And the afternoon and evening are more social gatherings people chatting and laughing while having a drink. The day care is on point. They give updates and pictures in the app. They classify the dogs play style so they can play with similar dogs. Which is great because ours likes to wrestle so he does not have to worry about not getting the attention during daycare. Everyone is uber nice and kind. Came here a few weeks ago with our doggo and while we're not sure if she had a good time or not (she's an anxious rescued Malinois and started off thinking we were dropping her off "at torture" then spent her time kinda playing kinda policing other dogs playing with the occasional under the picnic table shark attack mixed in) we certainly thought it was a good experience for her and the humans enjoyed themselves. While the entrance fee is a bit steep to make this a weekly spot, it's absolutely a cool place to mix in or bring visitors who don't have a place like this in their neck of the woods. It's essentially a fully off-leash dog park with a bar that serves coffee, cocktails, beer, wine - all the yummy bevs, but highly recommend their Frozen Espresso Martini. They have membership options where you get unlimited access to their facilities and get discounts on their boarding, grooming, daycare, and training services. They do have drop-in too for $15/day per pup and fun fact: humans get in for free! My dog and I absolutely LOVE this place. A few musts before you get in here: it's 21 and up only and your dog has to be spayed or neutered with their vaccine records uploaded on the app before you can get in. All good things tbh! The space is clean and open and staff has always been warm and friendly and I love that they have "Skippers" all over keeping an eye on the dogs and making sure no one gets too rowdy/crazy/humpy. This off-leash dog park in the heart of RiNo was more than just a playground for pups; it was a full-blown dog lover's paradise. Prior to visiting Skiptown Denver, we registered Forbes online and uploaded his vaccination records (this is required for all dogs prior to play or stay). As soon as we entered Skiptown Denver, Forbes's tail went into overdrive. The indoor/outdoor park was buzzing with happy pups, and Forbes immediately jumped into the action, making new friends and zooming around. Skiptown Denver provided the perfect environment for Forbes & all the other dogs. The spacious dog park offered ample opportunities for running, playing, and socializing. I honestly can't believe I haven't left a review for Skiptown already. This is like my second home. Ever since it opened, I find myself here at least twice a week if not more. It's essentially a 21 and up bar in dog park, that also offers grooming and boarding on the side. You can drop in to the barn park for just $15 a visit or you can buy a yearly membership that's around $400, which gets you unlimited access as well as discounts on the other services. This is truly like a dog heaven. It's great to meet people and find a community of dog lovers. It gives your dogs an opportunity to run around and get their energy out while you can sit back and relax and enjoy a coffee, tea, beer cocktail, or any of the above . They also have tons of tables both inside and out outlets, so it's a great place to work remote. I can't say enough good things about this place. A question friends often ask me is "what if dogs get in a fight. "It's really not an issue here. Unlike a normal dog park, there are workers constantly rotating around making sure dogs aren't overly aggressive or getting too amped up . They also stop any dogs from humping and will spray down once your dogs pee or poop so that the facility stays clean. If there is an issue or a dog becomes aggressive (usually just form over stimulation), a worker will be there to mitigate the situation. If bad enough, the dog will be banned from the park until it goes through Skiptown's training program. But in the months and many visits that I've been here, I've never seen this be a problem. The dogs are happy and joyous when they're here. It's truly dog heaven. Also, all dogs must be up-to-date on all their vaccinations or else you will not be admitted. This helps you feel safe about the health of your dog when visiting as well. I highly recommend. read more

Staff banned us from signing our dog up for boarding or day care because apparently the dog handler had suspicion that our vacination doucument was falseified. (it was not) apparently the staff there are actually detectives and can determine what is a falsified document without any training or resources. After telling them I could provide documentation from our vet as well they refused and just insisted we were banned without any type of recourse or actions we could take to reverse this ban. Honestly glad we dodged a bullet here as I have seen hundreds of post about people's dogs being mistreated, neglected, or developing pneumonia read more

They called me to say it was not his fault and they were cleaning his puncture woundand he was in good spirits. They said they were not vets but he was just a puncture wound and other dog had been removed. I previously had take him to the mandatory day of day care as requiredI asked who was going to pay for vet care and they said everyone signs a waiver that they are not responsible for illness,injury or death as per GM Brad. When I picked him up again the said it was just a puncture wound and they were cleaning it. He would not eat at all. I took him to the vet with vomitting.diarrhea ,fever and lethargic. when the vet shaved his neck there was not 1 but 3 puncture wounds . He is on a lot of medication to control this and I hope the happy guy he was will return. I should have known better when you can't tour faculty and I called during night to check on him till we could fly home and no one answers. which they said people are there 24/7. I was really looking forward to visiting, but unfortunately, our experience was ruined by unnecessary and unfair treatment. My husband was asked to remove his hoodie because staff (one person) found it "offensive"--despite the fact that it was just a standard motorcycle club hoodie with absolutely nothing inappropriate on it. It was frustrating and disappointing to see such an arbitrary dress code enforced, especially when we were just there to enjoy time with our dog. If this business has specific rules about attire, they should be clearly stated rather than left to subjective opinions. Went for our first time last week and it's pretty cool! Its equally fun for pups and humans because they run around off leash and the humans get to relax with a bar. The staff was quick to clean up any messes so its a clean place for pups to run around. They also seemed to intervene as soon as they see any "rough playing" so everyone stays safe. Skiptown has been the best thing the past year for our 1.5 y/o high-energy, active cattle dog pit mix. We've used all services and as Founding Members continue to trust the Skiptown staff with the safety and care of our pup. With dogs of all sizes, ages, breeds, temperaments and increasing popularity, the Skippers continue to still have our dog's best interest. This doesn't go without saying those who choose to use the dog park should be prepared to watch over their dog. The luxury of sitting back, staying inside, and attentively looking at our laptop/phone doesn't fit us at this time - that's what daycare services allow. Since we know ours can be a lot sometimes, we are ultimately responsible to be near her and keep eyes at all times throughout the dog park for correcting and redirecting. This helps her learn and other dogs and their owners feel comfortable. Thanks to those who do the same!
