I would not recommend Sky Clean Air based on my experience. I paid to have my ductwork replaced, but afterward I had poor airflow, multiple air leaks, and my AC was running excessively because the house was not cooling properly. My AC actually worked better before they replaced the ductwork. During this time, my electricity usage increased 148% compared with the previous month. They also damaged my ceiling during the process. Although they attempted to repair and paint it, the paint job looks bad and does not match the rest of my ceiling. What should have been a straightforward duct replacement turned into weeks of frustration, repeat visits, additional expenses, and time away from work. read more

Update: they review their yelp reviews religiously. Not even 20 minutes after I posted the main called me to find out what was going on. Apparently the tech did not understand the terms of the Groupon, and was supposed to do my AC vents as well.Like it said on the Groupon. Like it said on the . I reluctantly had someone come out the same day it took about 25 minutes for them to clean the AC duct. They use a machine, it is pretty quick. They cleaned up after themselves and they were gone. Would I recommend you buy a Groupon from them? No The owner of the company also tried to call me several times but I was busy and did not have time to talk. Would I recommend you use this company? I don't know. I won't be using them again for anything. I just overall have a bad taste in my mouth. First spoke with Maya regarding upstairs and downstairs ducts and vents cleaning services in my two story townhouse and she was very helpful addressing all my concerns , recommended best service for my needs from information I provided her, and , scheduled me a free estimate appointment. Garrett and Jason prior to free estimate appointment, arrived 15 minutes early, provided me with both courtesy text followed by a phone call regarding ETA, did a thorough inspection , provided me with quote at a very reasonable price for the scope of work needed, and graciously was able to fit me into to their busy schedules and scheduled me an appointment for today. Garrett and Jason 30 minutes prior to arrival notified me of ETA via text and phone and arrived 15 minutes early. I hired Sky Clean Air to replace the very old heating vents under my house. Not only did they do a pristine and professional job with the vents, but they cleaned out and hauled away a lot of old construction debris that had been left by contractors under my foundation from a 1990 remodeling project. Do yourself a favor and save yourself a trouble searching for HVAC/dryer cleaning team! Skye clean air did an amazing and thorough job. They went above and beyond from scheduling to the technicians working all day to help us. Tyler and Oscar showed up and walked me through everything start to finish. And when I explained to Tyler that we had just moved to this home because our last place had no AC and the air was literally killing us with mold spores from the outside! He told me about an air scrubber to help purify the indoor air. They spent all day cleaning and vacuuming each duct, he even went to his supplier to get an air purifier system for us! He worked all day installing the purifier and making sure everything was clean! They also did our dryer duct system and I can't even explained how discussing the vent was! It was so blocked with dust and yuck that they emptied the shop vac 3times. This morning I noticed how hot the cloths were when I got them out of the dryer. I am so beyond thankful for this team. I used Sky Clean Air for the first time for an AC-Tune Up. It was an interesting day! The AC-Tune Up was not what I expected when compared to other companies checklist of items they would test and clean. But they convinced me to do a deep clean on the ducts. That service was done that day and was a very professional job. Then I asked them to clean the dryer vent line. This turned into a major problem where they discovered the vent line had come loose do to clogging and the crawl space under the house was full of piles of lint. Happy to say, Brandon and Alan spent several hours in the crawl space reconnecting the line, making sure it was clean and sucking out the lint in the crawl space. Not an inexpensive day, but one where the end result was all positive. Note to self...get dryer vent cleaned more often and call Sky Clean Air to do the job. read more

Never in my life have i easily surrendered to turning on the air conditioner. It's an ongoing battle in my southern california household; id generally rather melt than toil with an allergic response to an active HVAC system. But when we purchased a new home in the interior hills of san diego, i knew my hubby would be a cranky bunny if i were to reliably protest his beloved AC. I decided to explore a deep clean of the entire system and had a laundry list of companies come through for estimates. Sky Clean Air wasnt the least expensive option. but they were the ONLY option. Daniel was thorough, HONEST, extremely patient, flexible and just plain great. I immediately trusted him and i was right to do so. After oscar's initial cleaning, i could feel a total difference and was grateful to have made a solid call. But thats not the end of the tale. A week after moving in, i ended up having an issue with one of the returns. on a FRIDAY AFTERNOON AT 4PM, the office worked some sort of magic to send out Taylor and Jacob on an emergency call. Not only did they come at what realistically should have been the end of their week, they were methodical, thorough, never rushed any component of their inspection or service in an effort to start their weekend, and they even went to home depot and back to get a part that they then installed. On top of it all, they were the nicest, most personable humans; kind and respectful, and a pleasure to interact with and have in our home. Lisa, youre an angel. I will remember what you did for me. Misael, their technician, came out and found the fan blower was filthy (from recent reroof and new attic insulation), and one of the duct's insulation was torn. The people are nice but I was told I'd need a new system installed. Granted my hvac system is vintage, but after getting referred to a different company by my brother, I saved thousands! Blue diamond repaired my system and put in a new thermostat for only a few hundred bucks and it's still running strong over 4 years later. Get a second option if you use these guys! read more

We had rats, and had new insulation installed. Company cleaned up the attic, sealed the structure, removed the old insulation and rat poop. Mentioned that some of the poop was relatively new. Job done, they leave...next day, I hear rat(s) in the wall. Here's the problem. When they saw the rat poop was fresh they should have said "STOP". We have a problem. The poop is fresh. We need to set traps, and wait a few weeks so we catch what's in your house. Otherwise you'll be sealing dead rats in your house and they'll poo and pee all over the new insulation. But I think they just wanted to finish and get paid. The invoice said they would fog and disinfect the attic. We did not see that get done. We were assured we would have pictures to show the installation was good. We asked twice and did not get pictures. We had another rat company check it, the work was done. But I still have a rat or more in the attic which will pee and poo all over the new installation until I can get it removed. Not to mention, they put a leg through our ceiling and when they sent someone to do the repair he did not install the insulation above the drywall patch, as promised, so we had to do that ourselves. I know this is hard work, but I deserved the chance to remove the rats before the new insulation was installed. read more

Poor communication on what Groupon voucher for Air Vent and dryer cleaning. Tried to charge me a boatload for furnace cleaning that I didn't ask for... would not take no for an answer. They arrived an hour early (called me 6 mins before new arrival time, as I was driving out of my parking lot) and spent the majority of the time on the phone with me ( I had an appointment at the time they arrived and roommate had to let them in and escort them). They ended up only doing the one downstairs vent and behind the dryer ( never went outside to check dryer vent exhaust duct. Did not clean the upstairs vents and any of the intakes. Charged for additional feet of dryer vent when it isn't that far from the exterior exhaust duct. I Would never use this Company again and will never recommend them. Not every Groupon is worth it. read more

Efficient! Initially asked them to come for a basic cleaning but of course they tried to sell me the deep cleaning which was what I expected when you went through Groupon. It's ok because I never had air ducts cleaned in my house. So 3 guys came within arrival window, they took out the vent cover and motor and used a large vacuum with long hose to vacuum all the air ducts. One guy so wiped down the blades of the fan. He also showed me before and after photos. They took pride of their work too and cared about the results because at the end they shut the vents to prevent sanding dust entering the vents as my contractor were finishing up with the unit.
