Today I came in and Nilab was covering a shift. She is from the San Marcos location. I am so glad to have come in when I did! I have pretty thin and straight brows, and she totally changed that for me. She consulted with me about what she would do, and why it would look good on me. She was careful not to make them any more thin than they are. She then filled them in with their brow powder and WOW was it amazing! It felt weird having arched and full brows LOL! Even purchased the brow powder and brush. Definitely will be driving up to SM to keep up my awesome brows with Nilab. read more

Friendly enough, but the shaping and quality left something to be expected. I've had my brows done very well before, for the same price. This time, the girl didn't really try to clarify the shape with me. She just dove right in, spent LITERALLY 60 seconds total, and was done. The shape was not the best, other people have done better with my brows. And after I left I noticed that there are still plenty of peach fuzz hairs left above, below, and between my brows. Overall, why bother getting my brows threaded if the shape is bad and there's still lots of hair left over that she missed? read more

I come during the weekend to get my eyebrows threaded by the owner. She has NEVER disappointed me. My eyebrows are naturally thick and shaped differently, so most eyebrow threaders try to "fix" my brows by attempting to make them the same shape and/or making them thin. The owner, however, always keeps my eyebrows clean and thick, while keeping my natural shape. She's the best! read more

My 2 daughters, 18 and 16, went in today and asked for their eyebrows to just be cleaned up. They both came home crying and rightfully so. The lady took of 1/2 the thickness of both their eyebrows. We have gone their plenty of times and a clean up means take off the newly grown-in hairs and leave the thickness the same unless specifically asked by the client. Not take half their eyebrows off! Went in today hoping to see Nisha but instead got someone else. She completely ruined my eyebrows, gave me way too much gap and didn't clean up. Didn't even apologize for her mistake. The owner (?) came out and she "fixed" my other eyebrow. She didn't didn't offer an apology either. Went in there for a simple cleaning and came out looking like frekin clown. I am literally in tears. That's the last time I come in here. They need to learn customer service both owner and employees!! read more

I go here regularly for brow threading and each person I've seen is really good at what they do. I like that they're open extended hours and that they provide really quick service. This place has become my place, simply because of a genuine, amazing, beautiful artist named Nisha. I have been going to Nisha for more than a handful of years. My eyebrows are her artwork and no one has been able to compare. I used to drive from LA to her pervious employment every 2 weeks. And now I drive anywhere from 32 miles from home or 25 miles from work in traffic. Nisha has grown into a friend and I trust her to keep me eyebrows looking fierce. My friend recommended this eyebrow threading place to me during the summer because she knew it was close to where I lived. I've gone about three of four times now and they've done a great job each time! I always just get a clean up and I still feel like a brand new person with a fresh cleaned up pair of brows. This was my first time getting my eyebrows threaded and it was great! They are walk in only (I had called earlier to make an appointment hehe). Their specials online are only good if they are clipped from the coupon book (wasn't a big deal for me since it's already such an inexpensive price). I love this place! A really sweet young woman named Nilab threaded my brows for me, and she was amazing! I went in on a Friday around noon or 1pm and I was helped right away! The place was not only clean and spotless (probably honestly the cleanest store in the industry that I have ever seen), but really cute too! I told her I had never threaded before and she started explaining the whole process to me. I didn't bring a photo in with me of what I wanted but it was okay because they have a detailed photo board showing the different thicknesses and different arch shapes for each. I'm glad I didn't bring a photo because I found a new shape that I love on their photo board! I have thick eyebrows except for the ends (tail end past the arch) are naturally very sparse. Nilab took the time to explain to me how she was going to modify the arch and how she was not really going to shape the area that was sparse too much. I love it when a professional explains what they are doing and makes me feel involved in the process. After the consult I was feeling very confident and excited to do what we had discussed. Nilab was very good at the actual threading part too! It was not as painful as I had imagined, no skin got caught or pulled, and she was pretty fast. She even got all the little hairs between my brows on the top ridge of my nose. She asked me to take a look and I swear they were perfect. I had mentioned to her earlier that I usually use an eyebrow pencil to fill in my sparse ends. I would love to try a powder, but have been struggling to find the right shade. After Nilab finished threading she took more time to explain to me the difference between the brow gel and the powders. She found the perfect shade for me and then gave me a big hand mirror and showed me step by step how to fill them in with the powder and then with the gel to set the look (she said the gel was optional, but I wanted to try it). I love love love how they turned out! I decided to buy the powder and the gel and they were both at a very reasonable price, way less than I've spent elsewhere trying to find the right shade on my own! All in all it was a wonderful experience. I will most definitely be back there every month from now on to maintain the look! She even gave me a stamp card where the 8th visit is free. read more
