I wanted to remove a very small dot. It is more visible now, and the skin is dented in the center of my nose after two treatments. WOW! I learned so much about this industry here! Little did I know I have been bamboozled for 20 years! Did you know Botox out of the box was a powder? Did you know a licensed physician can't legally or ethically dilute the Botox? (Like so many of the RN, LVN IDK who is injecting what into my face factories?) BUYER BEWARE! $99 Groupon Botox can't be the real deal...it isn't the real deal. A physician would lose their license for diluting Botox. The education ALONE was worth the $11 a unit. Think hard I like this doctor! My rating and review are about my filler experience. Before I got filler people including high school friends and even my doctors who see tons of people told me I looked 15 years younger than I am. Since the day after filler, no one said it any more. If you look young, think hard about possible undesirable results! Small filler injections gave my face malar mounds and festoons (google that to see pictures). I never had them before. From day 1 after the filler I looked older not younger. And it has not subsided or changed. Results are not temporary. It's been several years. I saw it in my mirror right away and my best friend said - what happened to your face? A cosmetician said I looked tired in a different way. I wanted to get the filler removed but doctor and other doctors advised against it. So, a lot of $$$ not well spent. I've never been a beauty and when people before said I looked young it gave me a little lift of happy gratitude. That's over! If I could go back in time, I wouldn't get filler. I'm a happy well adjusted person that loves life. I could kick myself but have to accept my choice to try filler. i guess the silver lining is I had to get rid of my small vanity. I didn't have good experience there, unfortunately ...When I talked to the receptionist to make an appt, I confirmed that Dr. H could inject only 20 units of botox. That's why I went in. I'm young and I only needed it around my eyes (that's the amount all the other doctors have recommended me). When I went there, Dr. H told me I had to buy minimum 50 units and she recommended me to get 70 units...When I said I only wanted 20 units, I could see her being frustrated and agitated and she started telling me she would never inject 20 units only in case no one else would buy the rest on the same day...I felt pressured and I bought 50 units, which I shouldn't have as I wasn't comfortable with that decision. My face looked completely frozen and didn't have a lot of facial expressions for a long time after that. Also, she made negative comments about my personality during initial consultation. I might be reserved (definitely not a chatter box type who wouldn't stop talking), but I'm respectful and I always try to be pleasant to other people. In fact I treated her with at most respect. I was there to improve my appearance and I had no clue why she had to say something that made me uncomfortable and not wanting to go back again. Well, I'm definitely not going back again. read more

Absolutely love Maryam! I have gone to a ton of places for botox and other injections. But she is the best and I just keep coming back to her. She has the magic touch and I always look better when she does it vs other places I found on Groupon. But the most amazing thing I've done is her lip injections! She even posted my before and after pic here, I wish i can tag myself in it. But it made the hugest difference that I did not expect. My lips were very wrinkled but now they are very plump and voluminous and most importantly - natural looking. She evened them out and I didn't even realize they were lopsided. She sees everything! I went to Dr. Maryam Hekmat to feel better about my appearance. I asked for botox and a few other things I thought I needed. Dr. Hekmat is extremely professional and honest. She took the time to consult with me and discover what I really needed vs. what I thought I needed. She suggested an IPL which really boosted my self esteem. She also suggested filler vs. botox for my undereye area which was spot on. As soon as I got the undereye filler I was so happy with the results! My daughter who is 25 years old has been battling her weight the majority of her life. Although she wanted to lose weight she never had the motivation to do so. She has tried several diets but has failed on all of them. I made an appointment with Dr. Maryam Hekmat as the last hope to help Nikki lose weight. Dr Hekmat completed a physical on nikki which included blood in urine test. At that time we found out that Nikki was diabetic. It was at that time that reality sunk in with Nikki and that something had to be done not only on her weight but for her diabetes as well. Dr Hekmat put Nikki on a regiment of Medifast and gave her a calorie count that she must not go over. She also gave her some medication to help. She promised Nikki that if she stuck with this plan she would not only lose weight she would also not be diabetic. Nicki went from 203 pounds to 135 pounds in 7 months. Nicki went from a size 17 to a size 6 . During this time Nikki had also hired a trainer at a gym who worked with her twice a week. Dr Hekmat was more than a doctor that gave Nikki a plan to follow. She became an advocate and a friend to Nikki and someone that she could trust during this regiment. As her weight dropped her whole demeanor changed. She felt good about herself and became secure about her body which made her mentally stronger. She is no longer depressed. And she is no longer diabetic. I would recommend Dr Hekmat to anyone that is very serious about losing weight and that has failed at other diets. Dr Hekmat is just not about preparing a plan for you to lose weight. For years I had been trying every diet, asking my doctors for help and getting blood work done thinking something must be wrong. Due to being a military family we move around a lot and see new doctors at every new duty station. I went home to visit family while my husband was on another deployment.
