Sky Restaurant Bar and Grill is located on the rear side of the Village at Mableton shopping plaza. We went in for bar food and to watch some of the football game. We were greeted by the staff and seated immediately. They had food specials and drink specials. I ordered the Bob Marley drink and it was sooooo great! For my meal, I order the beef sausage and rice. I visited for a friend's birthday party. The space is large and there weren't many people on this particular Sunday night. There was no cover (or at least not while I was there) and just one lady working "security". The bar was full, but my friend had tables reserved near the dance floor. The group had ordered wings and drinks. By the time I wanted to order however, the kitchen was closed (10pm). I ordered a Bob Marley pitcher ($10) but the server forgot about it and so I didn't get it until about 10:30. The DJ was pretty good...played a lot of classics...honestly it's an older crowd hitting the dance floor anyway. There were even some brave souls that sang karaoke. The music was promptly ended at 11pm. Lights on and bar closed, there was really no point in lingering. Over all I had a good time celebrating with my friend, but I don't think I will venture back to this lounge again. read more

Surprisingly great food, for bar food. We had fried shrimp, chicken bites, mozzarella sticks and fries. All the food was freshly made! None of it was frozen or pre-purchased! I'm only giving four stars because our water glasses weren't completely clean (it happens more than you think) but even then it was just a little. The place was clean, and well laid out but it's obviously a nightclub primarily. But don't sleep on those fresh chicken nuggets! read more

I have been to this establishment three times, twice before Covid, and once recently. Previously when I visited there was never a assumed gratuity. However, most recently I visited on Friday April 29th, and had an exp. that has left a very bad taste in my mouth. I ordered Wings, and the $5.00 peach margaritas, which was not served as requested. I ordered from what a was told was the Owner, the small Hispanic lady, and while she was the only person working at the time, that was not the issued. The issue was that I ordered wings, and specifically asked for half lemon pepper, and half hot, she took the order, and when she came back with the order she had all hot wings. she left so fast i didn't get the opportunity to tell her, therefore I went inside and expressed I was not pleased with that order, as it was not as I requested. I was told by the alleged owner that the establishment don't sell mixed flavor wings, and I told her she should have made that clear when I placed the order. To add insult to injury she added a self-inserted gratuity, for service that lack every bit of integrity and customer service friendly. I will be disputing, because I gave the Jamaican waitress who brought me the receipt a tip but noticed the gratuity after the order was paid for. There is nothing wrong with a restaurant having a gratuity policy in place, but not if you botched up the order, and didn't even try to compensate, or was not willing to fix the order. read more

My family and I decided to check out this place on Sunday evening since they had just opened 2 days before. To our suprise it was mexican-american food, the place is pretty big and has a good size dance floor. The decor is really nice. We had the lemon pepper wing appetizer, family really enjoyed them. They gave us each a ceviche tostada which were really good. I had the grilled lemon chicken, it was quite good it needed more seasoning to my taste, enjoyed the potatoes, rice was good. My husband had the Mojarra Frita he said he enjoyed it. My daughter had the grilled chicken salad, she said it was good. Carne Asada and Chicken Flautas for my other 2 girls, they said it was really good. We will be back.... Our server Magnolia was great!!!!! read more

Ok this place is fun for the music I mean the dj plays what I think is a good variety of music which i really like. The ambiance is very nice on the inside. The dance floor is also a very nice size. Even the table setting is very nice and elegant for a "club". The food on the other hand is just ok. I would eat first then come here for the drinks, music and fun. I will still be back. read more

I visited this establishment on Saturday night in celebration of a friend's birthday. Upon arriving we were met at the door by a man who informed us that the men in our group would be asked to pay $10 to enter in literally one minute. One man from our group was able to gain entry without paying. The others did not walk fast enough from the parking lot apparently and were asked to pay. The women were admitted without charge. Once we entered we began looking for our section. An area had been reserved for us by another person and we had been instructed to go inside and sit to the right of the room in a VIP booth. The security person at the door, who patted everyone down and checked purses, advised us that a call had been received and we were to go inside and sit in the VIP booth to the right of the room. We made our way to the booth. We sat and danced for about ten minutes; waiting for a server to come and assist us or at least ask if we needed assistance. What we got was a manager, Ron, who approached the section and advised us that we needed to buy a bottle to sit in that section. Not hello. Not hi my name is Ron. Not anything remotely resembling good customer service. The birthday girl spoke to Ron and told him the person who reserved the section was on the way. He was literally 5 minutes down the road. Her husband was even on the phone with him at that very moment. Ron walked away, walked over to a security guard, spoke to him, and then walked back to the section with the security guard. Ron walked away and the security guard faced us in the VIP section and motioned to us to get up. Literally; he used his hands to motion for us to get up. He did not speak at all. Just hand motions. We exited the VIP section and the building. Once we made it back to our cars the person who reserved the section arrived. He spoke with Ron, the security at the door, and another manager. They apologized for the miscommunication and attempted to offer us the very same VIP section we had just been asked to vacate. Needless to say we did not take them up on their offer. The management team did not do a good job of communicating with one another in order to avoid this embarrassment of an ordeal. Ron did not display good customer service by enlisting a security guard when not necessary. The security guard at the door also did not communicate well with the rest of the team; he knew we were supposed to have a section but was outside the entire time. The venue is well decorated and spacious. There was one server who asked if we needed help as we stood after leaving the VIP section. It is located in a shopping center with other businesses so there is ample parking and it is located near two major highways. The DJ was playing really good music and it wasn't so loud that you had to yell to hear one another. The dance floor was a good size as well. Outside of poor service from the management and security teams; this place was okay. read more

I recently visited this bar for a birthday celebration on 3/7.. I must say the place is beautiful and the DJ is unbelievably awesome. The drinks were pretty good, great vibes. The food is strait horrible, definitely lacking season and the fries and onion rings taste as if they may have come from ALDI. My biggest issue was one of the security guards had an attitude with my group for no reason. He made a statement to say that " if one of us act up in the group that we all must go". This statement was blind sided and came out of no where as That statement was uncalled for as he was addressing a large crowd within our tables. He alone put a bad taste in my mouth. Went here on a Friday for a friends birthday it was kinda dead. They had a$10 ciroc drink special but the container was only like 3/4 filled. I ordered the grilled tilapia it came with this delicious rice and a salad and was a good price. I probably wouldn't return for the party scene but I would come back again for that food. read more

A friend's last minute birthday gathering brought me here on a Saturday night. Their 1st time too, but we made the best of it. The Good: * The Hot Wings * Spacious Facility * Great Security (No in and outs without being re-checked) The Bad: * Ghetto clientele at its finest (hence the check and re-check upon coming & going) * No red wine (9pm) - Did someone forget to place an order or are they pushing bottle service? * No white wine, moscato DOES NOT count..even then they lacked quantity * DJ - lack tremendously..repeated so many songs in the 2 hours we stayed. I'm assuming he does it pro bono or it's someone's family member doing them a favor. I wouldn't go back because it's not my flow, but if you like "hood" this may be a spot you'd like to frequent. read more

Went here on a Sunday afternoon. The place was pretty empty. I assuming because they just opened a couple days earlier. When the word gets out they wont be slow for long. The décor, service and food were excellent. I even had a chance to chat with the owner. She was very friendly. That ceviche tostada has been in my head since I left. I wish I might come back here for the Super bowl! You all will not ruin my evening. I'm giving this place 2 stars because of the sorry managers. This was my first visit and I didn't know who from who. Workers were all over the place. When we arrived, it took forever for someone to come and take our drink order and give us a menu. The first girl who came by was a "manager" and she never even gave our drink order to a waitress or brought us a menu. The managers don't do any of that according to them. We had to flag somebody down just to bring us what we needed. I don't continue to go to businesses where I have to flag people down! And the tall manager, black guy kept walking pass us so when we asked for help he told us "Oh I don't take orders, I'm the manager. I don't do that kind of stuff." What the hell? On a busy night, management helps out WHEREVER. He could've even said let me go grab a waitress for you. The poor girl was working hard, so we made sure to tip her well! The sad thing is that the place has a lot of potential, but as USUAL people think they can run a business with awful customer service.
