Returned maybe 2 years after a a disappointing first experience to try to give it the benefit of the doubt and so glad we did. Maybe our first experience was a one off but the second was so much better. Stopped in quite randomly for margs. Both got house margs. Mine was rocks with passion fruit and my husband got a traditional frozen house margs. Both very good. He ended up ordering 3. For dinner I got three tacos (steak, shredded chicken but they can do grilled, and beef) and my husband got fajita nachos which were huge. Enough for two people. My tacos were very food. We also got a tree leche which had almost a maple flavor to it with was a little odd bit not bad. Staff were friendly. Patio was nice. It definitely was loud still even on the patio. I come here a lot for lunch and on this trip I brought my wife. We both had the excellent chicken soup. They give you so much you have to take some home. Very tasty. She also had a Pineapple Patron margarita that was outstanding and I had the Top Shelf margarita that was excellent. The service is always stellar and the bathrooms clean. Food: Everything was good but the chicken fajita queso was the star of the show. The grilled chicken and cheese wrapped in the warm flour tortilla was a great start to dinner. The carnitas was cooked well but a little on the dry side. It had a nice crispy exterior and but needed a little sauce to enhance the experience. Drinks: The Virgin Pina Colada was so good. One of the best I've had outside of Mexico. I bet the cocktails are just as good. And the pink lemonade was well balanced, not too sweet and not too sour Service: The service was quick but we had to remind one of the waitresses about sides that were supposed to come with one of the dishes. Those sides were brought out promptly when reminded. Ambience: we came for dinner and sat on the patio in the evening. Arrived around seven on a Saturday evening. We were seated right The service here was excellent and efficient. Food portions were good and food was very tasty. Drinks were well crafted. Space was a bit noisy but that's to be expected for the sports bar atmosphere. Prepare for wide screens and all the games. This also seems like a neighborhood spot with lots of regulars. Hmmm maybe I haven't been to this one in a while but today I have had the worse experience I have ever had here but because they were busy is why.it started from the beginning I asked for soft tortillas because I can't chew the chips(no teeth) after asking my waitress who then had to ask the manager which gave me an emphatic NO. Then I ordered a sweet tea I don't know what was up with it. it was nasty and too sweet. I was halfway through my meal when waitress finally came back at which time I asked for a water. Food isn't what I would classify as authentic Mexican but it's decent. Good service, spacious interior, with a large outdoor patio but it's on a busy street. Large parking lot. Small bar area serving pretty strong and flavorful margaritas, I like that you have the option to order a pitcher. Lots of vegan and vegeterian options. I had cheese enchiladas served with rice and beans. It was filling but lacked the Mexican flavor I enjoyed eating in SoCal. I was also a little disappointed in the Mexican style guacamole; I needed it to be spicier. It looks like they cater to the American palate, so if I return I'll ask for spicy. I ordered the steak fajitas through Uber Eats. When the fajitas arrived, I had a bowl of grilled onions and literally three slices of steak. After a long day, I was not driving back to the location to make a return. However, the steak was tough. It was not tender. It was not tasty or a good quality. House salsa is very mild, complimentary chips not bad. Tried the "Cali Wrap" (burrito), Enchilada with beans, rice and corn appetizer. Also had a flavored Margarita. Nothing made me want to come back. Service was good. Waiter was attentive, food came quickly. The restaurant was clean and appears to be more of a sports bar with many screens. Went for lunch with a Party of 6. Note there is a large party service fee of 18% if you have 6 people in your party. After being seated it was around 10-15 minutes before a server came to take drink orders. When they returned they did take food orders and about 20-25 minutes afterwards we began receiving food. I ordered the Birria Quesadilla and it was OK, but I wish it had been hotter and served with more consume. I also thought the portions of the rice and beans were less than most other places. The main reason for my score however is the lack of customer service from waitstaff. The staff seemed to take a break while we were there without making sure someone took care of our table.Normally, when eating out a server checks on their tables to ensure the meal is going well, but that didn't happen here. It was also a long wait before we were able to flag down staff to get to go containers for those in our party who needed them. The verdict: Mableton, yours falls short. As soon as the dish arrived and I spotted three mussels vs Smyrna's four, I knew I'd be disappointed. And I was. There was a scant amount of seafood, hardly any sausage BUT an overload of chicken, clearly a cost-cutting measure. (My husband who hungrily eyed my choice in Smyrna ordered the paella here and said the same thing.) The covered patio is great with overhead fans, perfect for the summer. So, I had 3 edible wings. The rest were grotesque. I asked to swap them out. The young manager/chef said no exchanges, no returns, no nothing. My husbands fajita was not sizzling, it was steamy yes but sizzling? No. I could've gotten past the soggy, greasy taco because I've become used to it by now. He brought back a drum and placed it on my table & turned his back to me as he walked off. I hate that manager. I've never had bad service here & I come here literally 4 times a week on my much break with my husband, friends and/or my neighbor. I spend good money here. I tip well EVERY time. I think I'm good here. I spend too much money to have somebody turn their back on me because I wanted the same quality i usually get on a weekday. That was so lame to me. I wish I would've went to long horn, Miyakko, La Padilla or something but this is walking distance. I waited all day for the lindo to open. Skipped breakfast and all because I'm loyal here All I wanted was better looking wings but I guess I don't deserve that. I came inside the restaurant to use the doordash dine out discount and they didn't know how it worked so they would not honor it. If your food is on an app it's your duty to keep track of the technology. I instead walked outside to order togo on doordash. I made a mistake in clicking shredded chicken bowl instead of grilled chicken. I realized it less than 10 seconds after i ordered. They running a scam. If the restaurant says they are working on your order you won't get a refund if canceled. They have a woman at the expo line that clicks the orders immediately so i only tried to cancel less than 20 seconds after and they were " working on it". They would not ring me up for a drink and just switch the chicken out or accommodate me at all. The grilled chicken is $2 more than shredded chicken by the way. They made me wait 10 minutes while they called doordash to cancel and i was not able to and they would not help me out. 1st time there. Attentive and very friendly staff. Entree's; we ordered Steak Fajitas, and my spouse ordered Chicken Fajitas. Both entrees were delicious. They served only 3 tortillas per entree, yet the portions had enough for 4 or 5 tortillas. If you want additional tortillas there is an upcharge of $2.25 for 3. REDICULOUS!!! This is the 1st (and last) Mexican restaurant that charges for additional tortillas that I have been to. A glass of Coke is $3.50. REDiCULOUS!!! Visited Mexico Linda for the first time on a Saturday for late lunch as I was in the neighborhood and wanted a nice margarita and outdoor seating. It's located in the Mableton area with lots of parking next to the building. Walking in, it was relatively busy. It's mostly set up like a sports bar with tvs and a large bar occupying most of the space. However, the outside seating had a relaxing feel separate to the main building. Service was relatively quick and pleasant. We ordered the queso dip, 1/2 strawberry margarita pitcher, a quesadilla, and the chimichanga plate. Everything was just okay. Since they gave us tall glasses, the half pitcher was finished with each of us getting only one drink. The queso was kind of grainy and not especially flavorful. The shredded chicken in the chimichanga was pretty dry and lacked flavor as well. The quesadilla was pretty fun of the mill, no complaints there. I have no idea why I thought I had already reviewed Lindo. But anyway, LOL. We recently came back her after taking a couple of months off, because the crowd was too much and the flies were horrible. This place is by far my husband's fav so, we went. A few things have changed. The service was good and the drinks were good. The specials have changed. Seems like drink specials are at the top of the list. We use to do the wing special but they do not have that anymore. I had the 10 piece lemon pepper no fries and my Beau had the boneless. Wow, what an absolute disappointment. This place used to be good. What happened? First of all I should've taken photos of the food but we were so hungry we just dived right in so I apologize for not having them. Let's start with our call into the restaurant to place our order. We called to order enchiladas Mexico Lindo. On the online menu it says you get your CHOICE of protein. There are three options and two of them CLEARLY SAY you can choose one protein AND/OR another. Which by my understanding of my native language English means you can either mix your protein or choose just one. The young lady on the phone was short and almost rude when she kept saying you can only choose one. When we tried to explain that is not what it says on the menu and ask if it had changed she only kept repeating only one. My problem is of the menu has changed then changed them everywhere so people won't be confused. Secondly, when my husband went to pick up the food he had to wait. Which was not a problem because he said there were a lot of people. The problem is once he came home with the food which was no later than 5 min, the food was COLD! Not only was it cold, the enchiladas didn't have much sauce at all and the little sauce they gave was dried out. They put about a half teaspoon of sour cream on top and they SEVERELY LACKED FLAVOR! Everything lacked flavor from the enchiladas to the rice and beans. Let's talk about the beans, the beans had about as much cheese as our enchiladas had sour cream which was relatively none ! Never have we ever had food from there this bad! The only reason we ate it was we were hungry and too tired to take it back! It's ridiculous how much we have to pay for food nowadays and it comes to you like this! They really need to get back on track! Seriously! If I can say anything positive was the portion size was good. Please season it! It was like they just threw the meat on the burner and cooked and didn't put anything on it not even salt! I had to reheat and season myself! The entire reason we ordered out is the fact that I didn't feel like cooking. Come on! They have a huge back bar area that is well lit. They also have lots of big screen tv's. Which is very nice. So I like the wings because they are big and juicy with lots of flavor.
