I tried to wait 24 hours to see if it would grow on me and i completely hate it. STILL HATE IT I contacted her and was only given the option of one day in her ENTIRE calendar to fix it. I've never had a bad experience at the business in the past, and I reacted in the immediate shock of the encounter. Over the years, TWB had become a space where I felt safe, particularly because my experiences there had always been with women. I've had traumatic experiences in the past that have led me to intentionally seek out women-only spaces whenever possible, which is why this interaction affected me so strongly. With the additional context, I recognize that my original characterization was stronger than warranted and understand now that the questions were part of the business's standard process. In hindsight, I think there was a misunderstanding on both sides of the encounter. I appreciate the clarification and have reconsidered my initial assessment, which is reflected in my updated review.

I asked if she could style it because my head looked crazy but I was better off just walking out like that because it looked even worse after being "styled". I had asked for finger waves and rather than just telling me that my hair was too long for that kind of style, she had my friend look up how to do it and then slapped some product on my head and gave it her best effort.
