The equipment is much more advanced than that of my previous doctor as well. Dr. Solomon was very attentive, thoroughly checked my eyes, and answered all my questions as well as gave an overview of what he found. His professionalism and knowledge were comforting and reassuring! Definitely would recommend this clinic. She really tried to make it right and retain me as a patient/customer. I still can't justify more than three stars because it can still be a frustrating experience to go to the Orem Eye Clinic. I feel I spend more money than I can afford every time I go, even with pretty good vision insurance! Whether it's the expensive meibomian gland treatment, the expensive vitamins, or the expensive frames and lenses, it all adds up and I think there are less pricey alternatives that are just as good.

I never have problem with parking. The optometrist is nice and helpful, and the ladies in the front are great. The lady who ran the area for purchasing glasses is also friendly and does not push for expensive upgrades. I have been here before and thought everything was just great but coming with my dad who is wheelchair bound made me realize how inaccessible this place is. 1. No handicap automatic door. Getting through the door was a hassle because I had to hold the door open while trying to maneuver the wheelchair. 2. Unaware staff. The tech who did the initial exams did not know how to deal with someone in a wheelchair and was not making accommodations. I had to move things around, including machinery, so that my dad could access them. 3. Having to transfer to the exam chair. Hear me out. I am 5'3" and my dad is 6'2". Helping him transfer was not an easy task and the tech was no help--I had to ask her to move a chair out of the way and she did not know the foot rest moved (and figured it when it was too late). I hope that there are other optometrists that have accommodations for people in wheelchair, and next time I take my dad anywhere, I'll make sure to ask about accommodations and staff training.
