This time, I was impressed by the generous portion of meat on our number 6 and 8. They were out of turkey but they allowed me to sub it with any other meat and their roast beef substitute was delicious! The guy who dressed my sandwich did a great job of not rushing and double checking if I was ok with everything before he slapped the two sides together. I gave Mike's way another try and even though the bread got soggy on my leftover, I grew to like the tangy flavor. My only critique would be the counter around the pick up area needs more frequent attention. Overall, we enjoy coming here for dinner take outs.

Then they would slice up the meat right in front of you and serve with several different kinds of sides and sauces. The ribs that day were especially delicious, with the meat falling of the bone. The brisket is tender and not too salty, and the jalapeno and cheese sausages were very juicy and flavorful. As for the food: it's spectacular. In a land where "spicy" often just means either "we added an extra grain of black pepper," or "we added uranium", Mi Tierra serves actual, authentic flavor. Whether it's the rich sauces or the well seasoned meats, eating here feels like a victory over the bland Mexican-food desert we call the Pacific Northwest.
