Beagles are fresh and tasty, a fun spin to the ordinary sandwich! There really is something for everyone. My daughters got the earl gray and lavender bagel and I had their everything. Both were delicious! I was fully before almost finishing it so it will definitely be enough for a meal. I ordered a latte and it was the perfect breakfast meal to be enjoyed while listening to Paramore, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. Literally all the music I use to listen to in high school (shout out to the millennials) lol there's card and board games there and artwork to admire throughout the shop. Got the pumpernickel bagel with plain cream cheese and the sloppy jaloppy on a jalapeño cheddar bagel sub the veggie mushroom sausage. Fresh brewed coffee and bagels was advertised on the sign outside. You had me at coffee and bagels! Immediately I smelled delicious toasty smells combined with coffee as I opened the door to this adorable counter service breakfast spot. Everything is served on a...you guessed it!...bagel. The menu is just big enough to not overwhelm me. I had a classic breakfast bagel sandwich with sausage. Scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese. I had asked for no cheese but they forgot. No worries it was delicious! Self serve coffee when you eat in. Friendly vibes here. They also serve a few sweets, lunch sandwiches, and I saw mimosas and beer choices. Not terrible, not great. Meh is the best way to describe it. I got the classic bagel breakfast sandwich, my partner got the Upper West Side sandwich. Upon taking the first bite of my classic, the fillings bathed in wetness jumped out the other side. It's one of the messiest meh sandwiches I've ever had - I had to fashion a diaper to hold together the mediocre ingredients and use a stack of napkins to clean my hands. I wouldn't have minded if the flavors were there, but alas, none to be found. I decided it wasn't worth the work and gave up half way through. My dogs liked it well enough. My partner liked the flavors of the Upper West Side, but also found his sandwich wetter than it needed to be. The bagels were bagels. The bagels were small and good as the moniker suggests, but without the elevation I would expect from a place focused on bagels. Coffee was serviceable, but with no depth or richness. Overall our experience was messy, overpriced, and we aren't in a hurry to return. read more

A new place to grab breakfast in town! The interior is very modern surf shack, which is lovely! Lots of unique and cool art on the walls. There is decent seating, but be prepared to have to take your sandwich and coffee to go. The mochas we ordered, while a bit small for the price, were smooth, foamy, and delicious with just the right amount of sweet. We ordered two Classics, one with bacon and one with sausage. Both were very small for the price, however they did pack a flavor punch. Make sure to grab napkins because the flavor likes to get all over your fingers! Unfortunately the sausage Classic was lukewarm and the sausage was undercooked. Overall we were happy with the food, establishment, and the friendly staff. The major things that stood out to us and took two stars away was the pricing and the underdone sausage. We will absolutely be trying them again in a couple months! read more

First of all I still love the bagels. Their tuna sandwich is so delicious. What ever tuna they use is spot on. I was in there the other day and noticed the 'art' on the wall....each for $200. First, I am an artist and respect and appreciate art. All art but these were not really what one would call art let alone for $200. They weren't even put in decent frames to try to accentuate the work. As a bagel store please try it - this place is awesome but I would kindly like to suggest some local artists work hang on the wall that is a wee bit more artistic.I k ow this sounds snobby and I really don't want to come across that way - I simply want to suggest something worth looking at and selling. Maybe reframe what you have so it looks better?? The place is so cute and deserves a nice display. read more

I recently moved from Seattle where there is an abundance of bagel shops. Every shop offers bagels you can buy in bulk; a couple, a dozen, etc. This shop seemed mystified when I tried to order just bagels. The bagels were just meh and cost more than bagels in Seattle. They should change their name to "sandwiches served on bagels". And not that great bagels. read more

Overpriced at half the price! This isn't New York, it Anacortes. I can only imagine that people here are desperate for a bagel. To be fair they are good bagels, but you can't put enough stuff between the halves of a small bagel to be able to charge $12-14. There's a drive up coffee stop about a block away that does this better. read more

I went in and ordered a half dozen bagels and got there cream cheese spread that had nuts in it (because I like that). When I got home and went to eat one of the bagels, I was disappointed with the quality of the bagel, it was dense and didn't have the same chew as the bagels I have enjoyed in the past. But, the real clincher was that the cream cheese spread was liquid, I mean mike it was like whole milk, it was seriously nasty. I called the shop and the guy I spoke with checked and said yes they were all like that and that he was sorry, but that was it, they never offered to refund my money or give me credit, he just didn't care. So, I think paying over $30 for a half dozen bagels with horrid liquid garbage is ridiculous. This place sucks and I will never go back. read more

I've gone here about four times now before writing this review. I was excited to see them open up the bagel shop, because I've had their bagels from the co-op, and they're the best bagels for 20 miles. But, other than proximity, I can't recommend them as a five star shop. First off, they are stupid expensive. A bagel with lox and cream cheese is 13 bucks. Bagel shops in Mount Vernon and Bellingham both charge significantly less. A single bagel, as mentioned, is three bucks. A plain bagel, three bucks. They are good bagels, but I feel stupid for paying their prices. I have honestly tried to give these guys time to get their act together, but they are consistently unimpressive. Yeah the decor is cute, and the coffee's pretty good, but why does it take 20 minutes, when I'm the only customer, to get a bagel with cream cheese and lox? WTF? Even if they weren't using pre-sliced Costco lox, I think they could assemble the bagel in about 90 seconds. I'm done giving these guys my money. It's a drive, but there's a much better bagel place in Mount Vernon, 20 mi away. read more

This company is a new start up and I hope they get a chance to succeed and grow. A few things I hope they improve on. 1: Ordered a breakfast bagel, it didn't taste fresh. It tasted a bit chewy and old. My hope would be a fresh bagel that is easy to chew. Considering that is their selling point (bagels.) 2: The website advertised online ordering, however that is actually not an option at the moment. Hope they get that fixed soon, that would be a requirement for me moving forward due to not having time to sit and wait at the time of the morning I would want a bagel. 3: Hope the menu expands, from what I saw, it was limited. Ambiance was good, staff seemed friendly. Will give them another try at some point after they have had some to settle in. read more

Not impressed, ordered with other co works at the hospital, listened to them giving the order over the phone for multiple sandwiches. Asked for no bacon on the Harvest sandwich. Sandwich arrived with quite a large pile of bacon. I am a vegetarian ($13) out the window. Call to complain and just got lip service. I liked the generous portion of the onion&herb spread I got on my bagel (pic for proof). Lots of flavor. I got it on the rosemary&sea salt bagel - also good flavor. I thought the crust of the bagel was a little tough so it's a little hard to take a bite, but the inside was nice and soft and the spread made up for it. I spent $11 for a bagel and spread with a 12oz latte so it's a little pricey but it tastes good. read more
