So excited to try sky bar for the first time!
    Sophie B.

This weekend, my friends and I wanted to try something new so we made our way to Skybar on top of the Hyatt. Cocktails are a little bit on the pricier side for our usual night out at just over $11 dollars a cocktail but they were really good and our bartender Eden was so nice and helpful in making sure we got something we'd love! I got the "Parisian Dream", a berry flavored vodka drink and it was delicious! I knocked off a star because this place is really only a rooftop up until 10pm because there are guest rooms next to the patio. This didn't really bother us but it would have been nice to know before hand. Overall the drinks were really yummy but the vibes of the indoor hotel bar weren't anything super special. We hope to come back for the roof sometime though!

My first time here and the place is gorgeous. Truly a hidden gem for Eugenian's. The architecture and stylings are awesome. Love the Sky deck. Love the decor. You wont be disappointed about your choice to come here. Drinks? Oh ya. Full bar. Good choice of wines and beers. The food? You'll be happy to know that its edible. Lets start there. The burger was a little misleading but thats okay; the result was a pre-cooked 2 patty burger with ingratiated nacho sauce. The good news is the bun was local and freshly and delish. The burger had decent flavor but the absence of any juice gave it away. It was dry and slightly tasteless as the chili nacho sauce took over. The fries were great. I can tell the fryer is clean. The fries are shoestring variety. My only advice is to salt them next time. The citrus chile popcorn was good. They use a salt made up with ground chile. Tasty but dry. Needs butter. The staff is great- helpful and professional. Oh I'll be back... probably not to eat much but I'll be back...

I don't think Eugene has any other sky bars so this place is really unique and just so beautiful inside. There is seating outside and it's just as beautiful. It's perfect for an after party or just a date night. There's seating towards the back in a booth and there's a fireplace so you can get cozy. The drinks are a little pricey but not really too bad and the food is surprisingly good. The service is really great. I was there celebrating my birthday and our server really took care of us. It was my dirty 30 and it was a good time. The Sky Bar will always have a special place in my memory.

Eden and the fantastic drink she recommended for me!

Eden and Jamison, we're nothing short of amazing! I mean everything from there food recommendations to cocktails were something outside of this world!! I live in Veneta and if lane electric ever has another power outage I will gladly drop everything and hangout with them!

Good food & views, great drinks. There's always parking in the parking garage or in the lot behind the building.

Ambience is good. Servers are super nice. Mixed drinks are not worth your time. I'd stick to whatever you can get in a bottle.

Very nice bartender, but drinks were just mediocre. They were expensive drinks and the margarita was absolutely foul and not drinkable.

Love the heated outdoor seating area. Kind of feels awkward walking into a hotel to get to the bar, but very worth it.

With that meal you will experience actual satisfaction and contentment. That's the first thing I have to say in case you're reading for a recommendation of what to order. Even better if you have it late night after experiencing the best Handel's Messiah concert at the Hult in December. I had a small slider of corned beef along with his amazing fresh Kale salad garnish with shaved Parmesan, walnuts, added protein -- sausage. It came with a toasted slice of soda bread that was great. But the slider was how I realized the corned beef was PERFECTLY prepared. A taste was not enough; I decided to get the dinner plate version to take the next day up to Seattle with me. Fantastic staff included Barkeep Illyia, whose birthday it was. She kept up a steady stream of attentive care, skillful service, friendly banter with each of the clients that came in and said good by to them as they left. Hospitality was her middle name. Love that they have mugs for the regulars hanging from the ceilings, the bar space is great but so are the arm chairs and cushioned seats in the corners of the pub. I even ran into two other concertgoers who had also been so energized after the Messiah concert that they didn't want to go home. We spent a half hour at the bar unpacking the highs and best points of the performance by the Eugene Symphony Orchestra, and the symphony choir, and each of the soloists. We also unanimously agreed the tenor was fantastic, the baritone a paragon of artistic talent, the soprano sang incandescently, and that the final AMEN movement was soul healing and mind blowing simultaneously. Yeah. It was that good. This place was the right place to come to unpack it all over a Guinness and the best corned beef and cabbage in town. Love that it was open late enough to enjoy after the concert. Will be back.

It was thick slab corned beef, perfectly tender. I also got their pretzel with the beer cheese sauce. To be honest, the beer cheese wasn't my favorite...was a little gooopy and the texture wasn't great. But, the pretzel was fantastic. It has the salt, the chew, and it was a great size. I also got their colcannon. It was great! Creamy and delicious. I ordered their brown gravy too because I like gravy with my potatoes and it was hearty and a big side for the price. All in all, i definitely recommend the pint pot!

The profile looked pretty cool so we decided to go there for a drink. Once inside, it was pretty dark which is typical for a Tiki Bar. The decor was very good and there was a lot of it around. My fave was the mermaid skeleton above our seats. The drinks options were plentiful and they even had jello shots for a bargain price (we had a few of these for good measure!). I had The Monkey's Paw classic drink and another in our party had The Invisible Man drink. Each was lovingly prepared by the bartender who was super cool with the prep and conversations we had with him. I loved walking around and looking at all the decor on the walls and ceiling. There's a lot to see. There's even a door that leads to a courtyard with several food trucks ready to serve you. There is a stage near the entrance for bands and a small dance floor. I would love to return one evening to check out the atmosphere and do a little boogeying! Give this place a try. It's a well done Tiki Bar and one of the better ones I've been to.
