Solid cocktail bar in downtown that is open late. So we went here after dinner for a "dessert" cocktail. The place was pretty empty but that is expected on a weekday. Beautiful decor inside and very nice service. Good choices of cocktails and light finger-foods. I ordered the Bean there, Done that : espresso martini, with vodka. I got the upgrade of Grey Goose vodka that brought the cocktail to a whopping $18. But it was delicious, and very pretty! My husband had his birthday and he ordered the Smoke and Mirrors cocktail which he really enjoyed. But the upgrade to Blanton #27 added a whopping $27 to this already expense $15 cocktail. We shared the Flank Steak special, Baked Brie, Blistered Tomatoes & Sweet Pepper Dip, Roasted & Curried Eggplant Dip and Grilled Peach Ice Cream and Berries & Creme. All were excellent. I ordered some food items and a round of drinks (2). The first order took a bit of time but nothing I would complain about. We ordered 2 more drinks but waited 45 minutes without receiving them. We reminded staff a couple times but the drinks still never came. After a while we just canceled the second round, paid, and left. All in all we were there for 2.5+ hrs and had only received one rounds of drinks. Insane for a bar. The staff also had no idea whose drinks were who's in the restaurant. They looked so lost. In summer they open their patio which adds more seating options. I love their cocktails and creative seasonal menus. I really like their snack board options. While they are a bit pricey they are filling and tasty. This is a great date night spot or a spot to meet up with a friend. barTini bistro is one of my favorite places in town to enjoy a few drinks with my wife. It's a small establishment that has a pretty good balance of feeling cozy & upscale. The drinks have always been great. They're reasonably priced for this type of bistro. They have a good selection of alcohol, and they were able to make my favorite drink, the Industry Sour. There aren't many places around town that have Fernet Branca and Green Chartreuse. I've also tried a few of their other drinks and I've liked them all. They also have mocktails and food. I had one of their charcuterie boards the first time I went and it was pretty good. I think they're food options change, and we haven't really tried much of it, so I can't speak on it too much. The service has been great the times we've gone. The staff have been friendly and pretty attentive. Be advised, it's a small spot. During their busy hours, I am sure that their seating wait times aren't short. Although the service has been great for us, I could say that if you go expecting things to move fast during their busy hours, you'll want to be a little patient with the staff. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for a quick drink. I would recommend it if you're looking for a place to sit and take it easy. This place gives chill/cozy/date night vibes. If you don't like small and "tight/crowded" places, consider visiting during their less busy times. The last time we went, it got busy, and we had people sitting around us within a foot or two away. For us, this wasn't a problem, but it's worth mentioning. I think this place shines the most at night, pun intended. Inside, it's dark, lit up by cute chandeliers, and warm LED candles/lights on the table. The outside is lit up by the warm orange glow of the fire pits. I'm not sure if that's year-round or only on the colder evenings, but it's such a nice touch when they're on. Who would I recommend this place to? Couples, friends, and family (21+) that want to grab a few drinks in a cozy, modern, Parisian style bistro. It's a good spot to hang out, have conversations, have some good laughs while sipping on some great cocktails, without the craziness that you get in some other establishments here in Eugene. At least, that has been my experience when I've visited. Prices aren't crazy, but they're not cheap. I can't remember how much we paid exactly, but I'm going to estimate about $12 - $14 for one cocktail. read more

I've been looking forward to visiting barTini since before it opened. My partner and I went last night to celebrate my birthday and had a really disappointing time. We got there at 9:05 (closes at 10:00) and just wanted a few drinks and a cupcake. The server acted irritated, took our one drink order (didn't ask if we wanted anything else), took the menus and never came back. Someone else ran the two drinks and we waited, and waited. One server came out and took multiple drink orders from the table next to us, and wouldn't make eye contact. We were sitting outside and our fire went out, we asked about it and they told us to move tables. That was the only other time our server spoke to us (and we had to ask about it because it was cold and the fire was out for about 10 minutes.) By 9:45 I was almost in tears. I have a toddler and this was the first time I've been able to go out at night in years. Very nice ambience and drinks were pretty. read more

Stopped in around 6:30pm on a Saturday and we were able to sit at the window bar with no wait. The staff was prompt and friendly, the food and drinks were really fantastic, and the setting and music were great. We had trouble deciding on the small plates to taste, so we ended up getting a lot of them - they were all fantastic. Highly recommend the Deviled Eggs - they were so good we forgot to take pics :) My husband loved that they had blue cheese olives for his dirty martini (well-made), and I loved that they had a ton of delicious vegetarian options. Hands down the BEST cocktails in Eugene. The bartender uses unique, tasty flavors to bring to life a beautiful masterpiece in your mouth. I am FLOORED every time I come here. This guy hand cranks the pellet ice, and lights the tiki drink on fire for you. Every cocktail is crafted with care. Seating is limited and not good for large groups. Staff wear masks and patrons wear mask while sitting and not eating. Indoor seating is available as well as two tables outside. They usually have a heater outside to keep away the cold. My favorite drink is the fitzcaralldo and it's a shame but the menu will be changing for their winter season.
