Absolute blast! My friend wanted to do something outside of her comfort zone for her 30th birthday, so she chose skydiving, and I told her I'd go with her. I didn't expect to have that much fun, but from start to finish, everything was just spot-on. The vibe was perfect, the staff were super friendly, and everything was really well-organized. My instructor, Taylor, was awesome - super chill and made the whole experience so much fun. We were cracking up the entire time. Huge shoutout to Taylor for making it all feel easy and just a good time from start to finish. Highly, recommend if you're looking to shake up your usual routine and do something different. I'll definitely be back!

If you're hesitant, don't be! This was everything! From start to finish the best and smoothest experience. The jumpers make you feel safe and secure and if you want to get a little more adrenaline rush, they let you do that too! This was one of the best experiences ever! Worth it! I can see why this place has five star rating across the board. Professional, as well as attention to detail. Pretty cost-effective considering all the things that are included. My boys turned 18 this month, and all they wanted to do was skydive. Most of the states require that you are 18 years old in order to skydive. For many years, I took my kids to indoor skydiving so they would have The simulation with skydiving without the risk. After about 15 visits to Ifly, my kids turned 18, and now they wanted the real thing... Searching up skydiving, there are a few options. Truckee California, Sacramento, and this place. I made reservations and then called the guy directly. He let me know there were some discounts if I paid in cash. $240 with credit card, $220 cash. There's also the option of buying both pictures as well as a video of your adventures in skydiving. The price is not what I would consider consumer friendly, however if you want a video log of your dive, $70 is not horrible for just the video. Pictures and Video are $120. We had some car issues before heading out, I called the guy let him know. He was awesome about it. Told me not to worry about making it or being charged. He said just let him know about an hour before we're supposed to ride to see if we're going to make it. I called back after the car issue was fixed and he said he still had our spots open. We arrived to a hustling and bustling office where people were coming in and leaving. Kids had to watch a preflight video. They had to sign waivers also. After all of the administrative stuff, took the kids back match them up each with their own instructors and the instructors walk them through the sky dive suit, harness/brace and then off they went. My son was going up solo since his brother had his girlfriend, and somehow he talk to my wife into going up... Well I kind of helped to talk her into it lol. They have a landing zone, the gentleman designed to pick them up told me I could fall a mile and watch them land. The landing zone has a nice little lounge outdoor area with some couches and tables to picnic. Overall it was a great day to skydive. A little windy but that didn't effect the landing. Kids are already talking about going again.

I made it! One of my bucket list checked On the plane I was excited and eager to get off, but as soon as the door opened, it's got my heart racing 3,2,1 JUMP! True Professional's all around! They had all the T's crossed and i's dotted! Each person was courteous, professional, well mannered, and performed flawlessly as a team. I really can't say enough. The dive was just WOW. It was beautiful back drop, clear skies and breathtaking scenery. Once the parachute was deployed, I was given the opportunity to spin and have a bit of fun, it was so surreal and energetic it was perfect, the landing was textbook. Memo was an awesome instructor.

When there's a global pandemic, what do you do? Go thousands of feet up & fall outta the sky Best pick for my first jump!! Decided to do something for my birthday & made a lucky pick w/ Skydive Lake Tahoe. I went back in July & everyone was following Covid safety precautions. They provided my dad & I with a better suited mask. Joey was my instructor & I couldn't have had a better person for my bday skydive awesome, funny guy & made me feel safe the entire time. Every employee there was friendly. I sound dramatic but everything & everyone there were just really cool. Thank you for the best birthday experience I've had so far. Def planning to go back next spring. If you're thinking of planning your first tandem skydive, this is it.

This was a bucket list item of mine and Skydive Lake Tahoe made it an amazing experience. The entire staff was very nice and helpful, but Joe made it over the top! I had been skydiving before, in another tourist type destination. That facility made me feel like a part on a very slow moving conveyor belt. In no way was my experience with Skydive Lake Tahoe like that. We initially had an appointment scheduled for Saturday, but it was canceled due to wildfire smoke. They were very professional in calling in advance to explain the situation, and rescheduled us for the next day, calling again that evening to confirm. When we arrived, we were quickly given our paperwork and instructions, and within minutes were getting strapped into our harnesses. Mike and Batman were both personable, knowledgeable and professional. From start to finish, this was a great experience with a business that knows what it's doing and values its customers. read more

This place was awesome and super personable. Today was my first time jumping, and everyone was super friendly and had great personalities and just made me feel at ease. I cannot recommend Joe enough. He's super fun, super easy on the eyes and super comforting. Honestly, I'd jump again if I was guaranteed he would be my jumper. If you've been thinking about skydiving, definitely go here. Came here because my wife got me a tandem jump for our anniversary. All I can say is AMAZING! It's been more than 24 hours and I still have this huge smile plastered across my face and can feel my nerves fire off when I think about exiting the plane. Mikey was my instructor and he kept it fun and comfortable the entire time. I felt like a goober having to ham it up for the video my wife bought but Mikey kept it engaging and the video came out really well! I highly recommend Skydive Lake Tahoe if your looking for your first jump. The view and experience is totally worth it! read more

AH-MAY-ZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is no feeling that can match what you feel before, during and after the jump! We came here on a whim and did it with no qualms. We went up with Batman and Eli. My husband purchased my first sky diving experience for me as a birthday gift for my 30th birthday. We take a vacation to Lake Tahoe every year so it was planned out for me. WOW!!!!!! If you are reading this review, chances are you are thinking about skydiving, and using these guys to share this amazing thrilling experience with? If so. DO IT. DO NOT WASTE ANY MORE TIME !!!!! Call these guys ASAP and book your jump ASAP. This was a surprise birthday present organized and planned by my fiancée and this totally blew me away and goes down as the best birthday present i have ever received!!! Besides than the thrill, the ultimate adrenaline, diving 120mph 12k feet in the air and free fall all while speculating the beautiful view of the mountains and Lake Tahoe, this business is actually nothing more than a gem. This is a family operated business, father and son, and both are real down to earth and made this experience top notch. I could have not expected better experience. Alex (the son) and my fiancee had been in constant communication for days prior to make sure the weather was permitting, excellent communication and this goes a long way with businesses today. The entire process from start to finish was just an awesome experience that i would recommend to ANYONE and EVERYONE. They knew exactly how to put us at ease (as it was our first time jumping) and knew how to make us feel relaxed and just have a good time. Props to Alex and Batman!!!! Again, THIS IS THE REAL DEAL, BOOK NOW!!!!! They also honored the military and gave us an extra discount. I will def come back and bring friends next time. In the month I turned 60 I went skydiving! I would do it again in a heartbeat. So much fun. I was nervous and not too sure going into it! The Skydive employees are wonderful! Alex was the best, he easily explained what he was going to do and what I needed to do. In meeting his beautiful wife son I see the great reasons to keep everyone safe! It was my second time skydiving. I was there as part of a bachelor party. The staff was friendly and took care of everything. The operation appeared safely run. Dave was great to jump with. Everyone in my party had a good time and enjoyed the experience. One sour taste was the way they charge people over a certain weight. I know that I weigh less than 220, but their scale is at least 10lb heavy. The charge is per pound and can be substantial. I paid $52 for an extra 6lb. Since I was there in a group, I wasn't going to make an issue of it and ruin the good time. Had I been by myself or with family, I would have made an issue of it. Overall, job #1 is having fun and getting on the ground safely. Skydive Lake Tahoe was great on both of those accounts. read more

THANK YOU BATMAN!!! And Skydive Lake Tahoe!!! This was the rawest and most indescribable experience of a lifetime . This was my first time skydiving and Batman truly made the experience from start to finish. Batman made everything light, funny, and personable. It would not have been the same without him. The views of Tahoe were breathtaking and it really helped calm my nerves... the video and photo package is definitely worth the extra money. It was so fun to look at the footage afterwards, and Batman really cared about capturing IT ALL!! I would do it 1000x over again. BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Went skydiving for my first time today. What a fun experience! Staff was super friendly, nice equipment, and Eli was all around great. On a side note, I jumped on 4th of July holiday . They only had a few people signed up for the day and everyone besides me cancelled. They still had the pilot, instructor, and everyone else there to let me do my jump. They could have made me go another day but stayed open just for one jumper. Really appreciate it guys, it was awesome! I'll be back with friends! read more

I just got home from my first tandem skydive and had an amazing time! I was nervous because it was my first time. I had Eli as my instructor and he made me super at ease, he explained everything really well, what our next step was going to be, and reminded me to just have fun. Came here unexpectedly due to a surprise birthday and I couldn't be any happier. At first, it was a little uncomfortable since I never skydived before and I hate heights. But I couldn't let such a good birthday and experience I can tell other people go to waste so I faced my fears and went for it. It made me feel comfortable knowing that these experienced Skydivers had many many dives and knew what to do and how to have fun but all while being safe. Four of us went there... Three came back. Just kidding . Batman, David, Kat and Juan were great instructors. The view is incredible free falling at 120mph plus from 16000 ft looking at all of Lake Tahoe. Breathtaking stuff. Be warned, you will want to go again... And again... And again. read more

Took my Sister for her first time here and was very impressed. The staff explains thing accurately and in depth so you feel very comfortable with what you are doing. My instructor was Juan who was extremely personable and friendly. My sisters was Batman (ask about his awesome tattoo!). Batman was very sweet to my Sister and hilarious. He made us both feel very safe and the combination of their upbeat and amazing sense of humor really lightened the non-reality of the situation. Thank you Batman and Juan for giving my Sister and I the experience of a lifetime together. I've jumped from numerous skydive locations and this place was great. The staff is super laid back and very friendly. They made the experience that much better and everyone felt like they were in good hands. Not to mention the view of Tahoe on the way up was amazing! The lake was beautiful and was just the icing on the cake. Everyone lived, so it was a great experience! ;) We all would recommend coming out here and experiencing the jump in Tahoe! read more

I had my 1st tandem skydive here on the 4th of July. Felt in good hands as everyone was just so friendly, telling me that I was in for a treat and reassuring me on their stellar safety record. Batman suited me up in my camo and instructed me on what I should do when up in the air. Eli, my instructor and I were the smallest folks, so we got to be 1st out the plane! I wish they sold t-shirts! I do recommend it. But here are some caveats to consider before you go: 1. The liability waiver is nuts. There's no insurance and you cannot sue. If you do sue, then you have to pay THEIR legal fees. Wowza. Fortunately the instructors have thousands of jumps of experience each. They're very confident and have never had a fatality. 2. No bathrooms, just a porto potty. 3. The plane is tiny...think of a flying tunafish can. Two jumpers per flight only. (Plus a pilot and the tandem instructors.) 4. This place is in Minden. You DO gets views of Lake Tahoe from the plane, but you're mostly looking at mountains and valleys (beautiful) while decending. 5. Because Minden is at 4,700 feet (and your jump is from 12,000 or 14,000), it's a shorter freefall than starting a sea level. Also, the landing is faster because you're landing in thinner air then if you were lower. This was noticeable compared with the jump I did a long time ago from a spot that's near sea level. 6. The video/photo package is worth it. The pics are so/so because they're from a GoPro and distort images, but the video is an incredible memory! Again, it was a great 5 star experience, but it's important to have an accurate view of what to expect.

We filled out all the paperwork, then Alex walked me through everything! We practiced how to run during the takeoff (I was slightly nervous to keep up, as he is a good foot taller than me), where I needed to hold on, how to release the emergency parachute, etc. I was blown away by how relaxed and at ease he made me feel! The $6,000 upfront deposit charged on my credit card was intimidating, but also understandable considering their risks of machine damage. Within an hour after we returned the snowmobiles intact, they reversed the deposit charge. Great rental suits, boots etc. and machines are kept in tip-top condition. I would recommend Adrenaline to anyone healthy, from elderly but able to young kids riding with parents.

We did a two day south fork trip, with a stop for the night on the river bank. Our guide Cryin' Bryan(just kidding Brian!!) and bonus gear guy Gator, were absolutely amazing. The were kind, helpful, had the best stories and cooked the best food. We did 21 miles of river over two days and it was unbelievable. Things we learned on this trip... -Gator taught me how to make a camping mocha(more like chocolate coffee when I made it!) with instant cocoa mix, coffee, creamer and water. -A tortilla wrap with PB&J and trail mix is the thing of dreams. -The front right seat of the raft is the 'hot' seat(or wet seat) and you will get hammered repeatedly. Haha. -Camping on the side of the river is magic. Pure. Magic. -Hospital bar has its name for a reason. -Composting toilets in the woods smell like a gerbil cage. -Brian's love of Star Wars and pineapple fried rice lead me to believe we could be real life friends. -You can make lifelong friends out of strangers you meet on a rafting trip. The meals they provided were amazing. Well beyond normal camping fare. For sure a perk with the trip. With things like chicken salad pitas, pancakes, sandwich wraps and fajitas, we were never hungry. We upgraded to the canvas tent they have at the campground for the first night and it was wonderful. The little front porch and getting to hear the river while we slept was magic. The newly upgraded bathrooms were probably the nicest I've seen at a rustic camp ground. The shower stalls are outside, but each one has a locking door with the shower stall and a little changing area with hooks and a bench(and the rain shower heads were great, but know the water pressure isn't the hardest, but not the worst either). When the 'Boss Man' picked us up from the river on the last day, it was really neat to get to chat with him. He asked for anything we think would add to the trip, and the only thing we can think of would be to bring along a yard game for the overnight trips, like ladder-ball or something for on the river. But there is absolutely nothing we would change. Enjoy my million pictures. I really couldn't pick and choose what to show, so I showed it all! We can't wait to go back!!

Lastly the bus to get back went great, but they kind of left us alone right after we got back to camp, even though we had some questions and were going to leave a tip (we left our wallets in the cars).

This just goes to show you how important a seasoned veteran rafting guide is Juli was amazing. He gave clear instructions, he was very calm, and he managed the raft like a pro. No no flipping over and no one fell out. So exciting! Now I want to go to Costa Rica and look up Whitewater excitement there and request Juli. Hope to do this at least one more time this year. If I lived closer, I would go more often. Ps- I read some people complaining that you have to pitch in to carry the raft from the water up to the trucks and from the trucks down to the water, I've only been with one company that did not ask you to do that. All the rest have always had the rafters help out in pitch-in.

Drove up here to the entrance of DL Bliss Park at 7:55am Wednesday only to find Park Closed sign…read morewith a lowered gate to the front entrance to the Park. I park the car at the entrance right off of Highway 89, grab our hiking gear and start walking the 1 mile to the ranger station. 25 minutes later at the ranger station, we learn that the ranger just opened the front entrance to the park, letting in vehicles. $10 pay by credit card at the ranger station for each vehicle. No way we are walking back, as by the time we get the car the 15 vehicle Calawee Cove parking lot will be filled by 9am. T 10 more minutes and we join the Rubicon trail at the Lighthouse parking lot. 5 miles and 4+ hours later we hike the Rubicon trail through the Calawee Cove. these are the only flush toilet bathrooms on this part of the trail. Very clean bathrooms. When I wash my hands in the sink, the water turns brown. Wouldn't want to eat lunch at the beach with those hands. The Calawee Cove reminds me of Hawaii, with it's long light brown beaches, crystal clear waters, and bright green colored waters near shore, and deep blue waters farther ashore. Summer Lake Tahoe water temperature 64 degrees compared to 77 degrees in Hawaii. Very few people on the beach, due to only 15 parking spots, and the $10 pay by credit card entry fee at the ranger station. Takes me 70 minutes to hike the 2.3 miles of paved road back to our parked car at the Park entrance from Calawee Cove. 1000 feet elevation gain, at 6,000 feet elevation, and I'm dragging my feet at toddler speed back to the car. Wife does it in 65 minutes, and wife's sister does it in 60 minutes. Along the way meet various families with kids wearing swim suits and flip flops, and adults hauling towels, sun umbrellas, food, and other beach equipment, all walking to Calawee Cove. The rangers closed the park entrance gates to vehicles going the beach, once all 15 parking spots are taken.. These are folks who walked in, smiling now, but hiking back to the car with their mouths open gasping for air on the brutal return. Paved road so smooth it could be wheelchair accessible, at least on the way down!

It's totally worth it especially when you take into consideration the value. $40 with cart at 1:30p on a Sunday. The golf course is pretty much all to yourself. Quick summary + Greens are in good conditions and undulating + Fairways are fast + Love the mix of flat and elevation changes + Tee boxes are well kept + Slope rating is accurate + Not busy during late November - Gets chilly when sun goes down - Some bunkers are bunkgrass - Greens are good but could be excellent (yeah I'm being nit picky now)

Morning walks around the golf paths when the course is closed. 2. Attending special events at the Supper Club building. 3. Enjoying an occasional afternoon/early evening nosh and libation at the "19th hole" 4. Before golf course management switched to paid staff, I was a volunteer here. Most of that work was positioning and cleaning golf carts, including an occasional tip. There was also trash pickup, supplying balls to the driving range, and managing tee times at Hole #1. Oddly enough, Gayle and I don't play golf, despite the urgings of friends and family who do here. As a first step, lessons might be in our future.

There wasn't a single ball washer on the course. There also wasn't a single water station on the course. The best part of the experience is that there was a beverage cart on a Thursday...to distract me from the course conditions.

Pat and I really had a wonderful time putting our lives in your expert hands at skydiving. :-) Thank you for being professional, super fun, knowing how to keep our minds at ease by "distracting" us from our fear on the plane with your different narrations, etc. and first and foremost, for ensuring our safety from gearing us up (making constant checks on our safety harnesses) to bringing us back to the ground. You were LOADS OF FUN and HUGE ON SAFETY!! I'll take this opportunity to apologize for keeping on inching up closer to you on the plane. I just really wanted to make sure we were both hooked up together, since you were the only one who has training and had the chute - LOL!! This place is incredible because of the amazing scenery, laid-back but still professional staff, and quality of the jump experience. The view of the Sierra Nevada mountains and Lake Tahoe from up there is breathtaking! The jump is made from around 17,000 feet above sea level, so around 12,500 feet above the ground. That means a longer free-fall experience than many other first-time tandem jump places provide. The staff is very good at teaching first-timers exactly what to do by going through everything on the ground and then once again while on the plane before jumping, they made us very comfortable and helped make the experience as fun and exciting as possible. If you buy their video and/or picture package, you get some high-quality footage to keep and share with your friends and family. This was one of the most awesome experiences of my life and I am so happy I did it here! Absolutely no regrets! read more

I am still shaking from the adrenaline. That was a crazy experience. It's not like a rollercoaster. You won't feel that freefall drop that lot of people don't like on rollercoasters. You might get a little stomach drop once the parachute is open and your instructor is navigating towards the landing area. The view was out of this world and I can't believe I did this. Everyone was very experienced and my friends and I felt safe. You won't regret doing this. While I'm not ready to go back immediately, I'm sure it wouldn't take much convincing to get me to do this again. I wish I had done this sooner in life. It took me 39 years to do this and I don't see myself waiting another 39 years to do this again. read more

I love this skydiving place! Alex is an amazing instructor. We normally jump with Skydive Surfcity in Santa Cruz ( also a great place ... What can I say I own it lol. My friends got tired of ocean views and wanted to skydive in the mountains. They were going to Tahoe and asked for a recommendation: since we know Alex and his dad, we sent them to Skydive Lake Tahoe. They are running a really safe operation. Everybody was super happy, felt safe and the pictures with the lake in the Backgrounds were amazing. They even had snow on the mountain tops. I didn't jump that day but regretted I didn't.Great place! read more

Man, what an experience!! And a gorgeous few at that! Me and my husband decided to honeymoon here in Tahoe. We wanted to make it memorable, so what better way than to jump out of a perfectly good plane!? It was my husbands first time ad my second and it was by far the best experience we both got to have together! I had Kat as my instructor and she was the sweetest most patient and encouraging! My husband had Batman as his instructor and says that he was a cool guy, great at what he does and made us both feel at ease with his humor and sarcasm. 10/10 and would defiantly do this again! read more

This was my first time skydiving and it was an awesome experience. The people made us feel comfortable and were very friendly, Batman and Kat were great instructors. Would definitely come back, the scenery is so beautiful and they take so many photos. read more
