As a business owner doing services for people I believe it's a given to get feedbacks from clients. Never once have I complained nor told her things were her fault. Ever. I went there yesterday and showed her a picture of how I'd like my hair. She informs me that my hair can't achieve that color exactly and also adding that I complain. Please. Let's pull up our whole chat here if we need to. I understood that 1000% as she kept repeating herself speaking condescendingly as if I'm not understanding. The thing is she wasn't understanding me. I then asked her her opinion on what would be the best option to go with in order to get it as close ( not that I was going to follow what she says I just wanted to see what her opinions were from a professional stand point) she then turned me away and canceled on me. Alright, cool. I get it. I can respect a business owners decision as they have the right to turn down any services, I still tipped her 80$ for taking off my extensions for me not that I had a lot left on my hair. I'm not that kind of person. however again I really frkn wish she could've asked me these questions over the phone so I didn't have to waste my time driving back and forth. My hair in the before picture was actually done at a professional salon, as hard as it is to believe, and it wasn't cheap. I had lost faith in that other salon and also felt embarrassed to request a refund so I decided to take the L and redo my hair. Amanda was incredibly thorough with our consultation over IG. She asked for inspiration pictures, current hair status, and gave an honest answer whether the look I was looking for was attainable. Since my hair was so dark but I wanted a heavy copper look with dimension, Amanda recommended to go with heavy baby lights with a root melt for easier maintenance. In addition to that, she lightened up my bangs perfectly so when it grows out, it will still look nice as curtain bangs. Amanda is easy to talk to, professional, and incredibly sweet and kind!
