Also it does not have the marine layer problem like Montgomery has, so it is mostly VFR. This is a great little airport with 2 parallel runways and 1 cross runway. The driver of Bus 2602 refused service to a homeless man in a wheelchair who cannot speak or walk. This man has been seen daily for nearly two weeks--he is peaceful, clean, and causes no harm to anyone. The driver flat out denied him access and left him stranded -- fully visible to everyone on the bus. This is a clear violation of ADA law, civil rights, and basic human decency. To make matters worse, the driver is operating the bus at freezing temperatures with no regard for the passengers who are shivering, while he sits isolated in his personal climate bubble. He has absolutely no care or concern for public comfort or dignity. This driver should be immediately terminated and investigated for discrimination and failure to follow MTS policy and federal ADA regulations. His behavior reflects poorly on the entire MTS system. Complaint filed: Ref# 427-397-841 Formal Complaint to San Diego MTS (For Internal Submission) Subject: ADA Violation, Driver Misconduct - Bus 2602 (June 13, 2025) To MTS Management, I am submitting a formal report regarding a disturbing incident that occurred on Bus 2602. Poor planning and late to upgrade make this airport just okay. They could at least install more lounges and better retail to make up for it. Flown in and out of San Diego just to be delayed by other planes due to the airport layout. Love San Diego, but the airport is lacking, especially Intl terminal. I've not seen the new terminal 1 yet but I'm hoping they upgrade all the terminals and layout. Maybe they can relocate from the Old Terminal to the New Terminal in future.

The many areas of Point Loma and the m any trains that traveled across the city you could get to the many parts of the city by of the electric cable cars and the staff cars that are provided for the many senior officers that was during the war with the many soldiers that were transported by trains to the docks to be sent out with the ships. From the cable cars to the trolley the many years that have changed for so many years that the transit system has provided many of the advancements and the many cars that had come and gone. Located near the Prado Restaurant, this Visitors Center is fairly easy to miss. Since there is so much to see in Balboa Park, I'm so glad that they have several knowledgeable employees working here. The gift shop contains a small selection of cute souvenirs. There are also drinks, snacks, and some great books on Balboa Park and the surrounding San Diego area. We are planning on getting the Passport to Balboa Park the next time we are here. If you like Balboa Park as much as we do, this Visitors Bureau Center is worth a stop when you are here!

We started about 9:30 AM, and our first Guide, NAMED JACK. He had been a disaster/guide for some 10 Years. He was very, very good. When we walked on, there were two orange cones on the two front seats. We had waited to sit in the front seat!!! As we boarded, JACK just sat on the benches, not noticing my walker!!! I finally got the front seat, but my partner stayed seated behind me. GUIDE JACK took us as far as Seaport Village, but interesting enough, at the stop before, he had us all share our stories. NICE TOUCH. We wanted bagels at SPILL THE BEANS, but at 10 AM they were OUT OF BAGELS. Ridiculous. I don't remember the name of the Driver/Guide, who took us from Seaport Village to Coronado. In Coronado, we walked to the Hotel del Coronado. I first used the RR, beautiful white marble. I then took the metal elevator in the lobby to the Second Floor, and went out the balcony. We, My Partner and I, met up again the INTERIOR COURTYARD. We left the hotel to walk to GELATO PARADISO on Orange Avenue. On the way there, we saw the famous L FRANK BAUM HOUSE, the writer of the Wizard of Oz. It is a yellow house. UNFORTUNATELY, they did not know how to use the COUPON in the OT Trolley Brochure. Other than that, the GELATO WAS DELICIOUS!!! I had Raspberry and Lemon. We took the OT Trolley back to Old Town. We had one last Driver/Guide, NAMED LUIS.
