I think (blasphemously!) that Skyline might not be my favorite of the Cincy chilis--the chili itself being centrally made and delivered just means that it isn't as flavorful as you'd get at a place that makes the chili in-house daily. Definitely a different taste for its chili. As a Texan, the cinnamon is a different twist but not bad. But the amount of CHEESE is CRAZY! Getting a chili dog but holding the chili it seems lol! The burrito was 6/10 and the spaghetti was 5/10 as well. Personally never thought of putting chili in my pasta. The hot dog was definitely small portion and not as much meat as I thought in the chili. Love that they can give you an option for onions or mustard if you want that addition. This location is located right off I-74. Check out the mound of cheese! I absolutely love their coney dogs. I always says yes to add onions and mustard! Don't forget to ask for hot sauce. I put one packet on each coney. This gives it just a little kick. They always ask if you want crackers, too! Yes, please! Great road trip snack for later! I used their restroom which was super clean. The Coney dog was not to my liking but I am going to give it a pass because I'm from the South and they make chili completely different here. They don't skimp on the oyster crackers, cheese is sky high and buns are never stale. They are super involved in the community which is a great small town feeling. The only complaint we have is they are stingy on the hot sauce. Even if you ask for extra, it's like pulling teeth to get enough. 2. Would I eat there again? Yes. I probably eat here too much. 3. It's time for a 5 way if you know what I mean! What's a 5 way you may ask? It's a bowl of spaghetti with beans, onions, chili and cheese. It's a staple meal for someone who is raised in the area. My husband loves that stuff. I like the coney which consist of a hot dog on a bun with chili, cheese and onion. Small but enough. The price is affordable at around $2 a coney and $5 for small 5 way. You can't go wrong with those prices. Service is exceptional! The owner greeted us and the staff was friendly and always checked up on us. Every time I go there I get the same thing (4-way with onion) and it is always consistent. The tables, floor, and kitchen are all quite clean. Traveling home to Indianapolis from Kentucky, we made a quick lunch stop at this Skyline Chili. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we were so impressed! Our server, Jess, was amazing!! She was friendly and so accommodating to our group of 6, which included three hungry little kids. She made it a super fun experience for them! The food was also very yummy and came out in a timely manner. The restaurant was impeccably clean and they were doing an awesome job with the way they were handling sanitizing procedures with Covid prevention. I don't often write Yelp reviews but I couldn't leave without giving this Skyline a shoutout. If we're back through this way sometime, we'd definitely stop again! read more

This skyline is clean and new. The owner dave is a family friend of my aunt and uncle, and he is very welcoming to all. He is also very involved with the local community and East Central Schools. He makes this skyline really shine. He also make sure his employees only provide the top tier of service. The food is always good, hot, and fast. It's awesome being able to get the flavor of Cincinnati without having to cross into ohio! Stop here, grab a 3 way and hang out! Oh! And they have USB power outlets. It's just really cool! read more

I really dont have a lot to compare this chili with spaghetti to because Im an Okie. We in Oklahoma usually don't eat chili this way. I didn't think the chili was something to write home about. Maybe my dads chili that I grew up on is just over the top amazing. So that will always be the standard I unconsciously rate other chili's to. The restaurant was clean enough, looked like a fast food joint but they had waiters. They have a kids menu that I thought was good. When they brought out the 5 way chili I thought my arteries were going to clog just looking at it. The cheese just looked like a lactose intolerant persons nightmare. Just piled high in such ungodly hight. Thankfully I like cheese and so I was ready to go ahead and try it. I found it odd and it strangely had me continuing to eat it. I can't say I loved it because I didn't truly but I can see how this dish could grow on you and be something you're use to eating for comfort. The chili dog tasted cheep and flimsy but it still was ok. Too soft for my liking, like it didn't have substance to it. My waiter wasn't that good at keeping our cups filled or checking on us so that also dimmed the experience. Where they fail is in service. It can be sometimes slow but usually is good. At our last visit service was slow and they were waiting on others who came in later.
