Pros: -Be is always clean -The equipment is generally in good working order -The staff is courteous, professional, and knowledgeable -The basic membership is under $50/month Cons: -The lower rates have attracted "less than desirable" clientele -Large portions of the upstairs are underutilized, while the small weight room is jam-packed -The locker room is tiny -The parking lot is shared with the Delafield Hotel, Andrew's Restaurant, and a dance school--the soccer moms who pick up their daughters from dance class park willy-nilly, many of them are rude, obnoxious, and impervious when it comes to parking etiquette

She's so funny, kind, patient and motivational which is exactly the kind of teacher/environment I'm looking for when it comes to learning a new language. It does not feel as daunting with Shan Lu by my side. I appreciate learning about the language itself, but what stands out about these classes is that she also dives into Chinese culture. One of my favorite classes was when we talked about Lunar New Year traditions, learned popular phrases/greetings, and then deep dived into a couple of characters!
