I wanted to get back into dancing at the age of 40. Found Dance tracks because they had the most…read moreclasses for adults. Tried it out and felt it was challenging and fun. Started with Hip Hop and added tap classes. Loved that this was an all inclusive school with dancers of all ages and levels. Never felt out of place if I couldn't do a certain step or dance and the teachers helped modify a move so I could keep up. Not only that but Adults students get to perform in the recital as well as the kids. Now both my daughter and I are students and perform on stage together. Neither one of us are competitive dancers but we are performers at heart. You choose Dance Tracks because you're never to old to learn dance.

I've tried ballet, tap, pointe, jazz, hip hop and modern and I'm still learning new techniques each class time after 17 years! The instructors are friendly and motivating, and the class sizes are small so you get personal attention. The dress code, music and movement is safe and age appropriate. The classes and end of the year recitals are also a lot of fun and a great way to show off all your hard work from the past year. ** After trying another studio recently and dancing and jumping on concrete I was in a little pain afterwards and appreciate even more so the floating wood dance floor Dance Tracks has for the safety of ones knees!

Let's start with positives- nice building, exposed brick, updated equipment…read more Negatives- expensive for what they offer - $89/mo, tried to charge more as supposed to through my credit card, had to block. Advertise month-to-month membership but charge extra month. I tried to renew membership temporary for a summer (moving to Illinois) but they tried to charge all the extra months between now and time I canceled membership. Unbelievable. One of the worst experiences in the gym world. The best idea? To buy a treadmill at home and attend Pilates or Yoga elsewhere.

The facility at Be is great and the staff is fantastic. I've done two stints here over the years…read moreand Be is the nicest place in lake country if you don't mind the lack of a pool. That said, the problem with working out here is largely the clientele. Every gym has the imbecilic guys in the weight room who think that grunting and dropping heavy weights onto the floor somehow improves muscle tone--but Be also has a large contingent of local high school kids whose presence crowds the very small weight area to the point of making it unusable for long periods of time. Pros: -Be is always clean -The equipment is generally in good working order -The staff is courteous, professional, and knowledgeable -The basic membership is under $50/month Cons: -The lower rates have attracted "less than desirable" clientele -Large portions of the upstairs are underutilized, while the small weight room is jam-packed -The locker room is tiny -The parking lot is shared with the Delafield Hotel, Andrew's Restaurant, and a dance school--the soccer moms who pick up their daughters from dance class park willy-nilly, many of them are rude, obnoxious, and impervious when it comes to parking etiquette

Her vast knowledge and tireless enthusiasm for the language and culture make the lessons entertaining, informative and readily absorbable. She will make you feel at ease and help you perfect your pronunciation. I have tried to learn Mandarin before, but I couldn't grasp it or stick with it. Thanks to Shan Lu's methods I feel like I know what to focus on now and know I will make great progress. Can't thank her enough!

She's so funny, kind, patient and motivational which is exactly the kind of teacher/environment I'm looking for when it comes to learning a new language. It does not feel as daunting with Shan Lu by my side. I appreciate learning about the language itself, but what stands out about these classes is that she also dives into Chinese culture. One of my favorite classes was when we talked about Lunar New Year traditions, learned popular phrases/greetings, and then deep dived into a couple of characters! If you're interested in learning Mandarin, I'd highly recommend Milwaukee Chinese Culture & Language Services!
