I went to this place on 9/28 and got a pedicure and an overlay on my nails. I had two workers working on me at the same time. The employee that was doing my pedicure was done using the cuticle cutter when the other lady working on my nails asked to use them. I immediately told both of them to stop my services and to get another cuticle cutter for my nails. She refused. I spoke with the owner and she was rude and said that they can use the same cuticle cutter because it was my cuticles. I contacted TDLR 9/29 and I was advised that the cuticle cutters has to be disinfected between services. After speaking with TDLR I called and spoke with the owner again and she hung up in my face. She I very unprofessional and rude. I would not recommend SKYLINE NAILS. read more

My hubby and I just left after getting our "skyline pedicures" for Valentine's Day. We had such an amazing experience. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I have a horrible ingrown toe nail and I let my tech know during the pedicure. She took the time to make sure it was all taken care of. We were offered champagne, chocolates and water during our visit as well. We will definitely be coming back! read more

To begin with, no one greeted me up at reception and a nail tech who was already in the middle of doing someone else nails let me know on front of all her customers to come back another day. Really looked forward to getting a full set here, but two times in a row they passed to earn my business because "they were booked and had two full sets in front of me" and followed to nod her head as if it were something she was not willing to do. They've always asked me to come back another day when it was less busy and that's great that there always busy, but that shouldn't be a problem for a customer. Best nail salon in Waco. Yes, it looks a little dated, but Tina is a great manager and makes sure her employees' work is on point. Their prices are reasonable, too. I moved here from Austin and I've tried out a few different places in Waco, looking for the same sort of salon experience I was used to, but I keep coming back here. Shellac selection is pretty extensive and they have a nice collection of dip nail powders, too. I have gone to Skyline Nails for a pedicure twice now and Tina has done my pedicure. They have been great. Tina is very nice and willing to go the extra mile. Today I had my nails done with Tim. I requested my nails to be dipped and he did a wonderful job. He wanted to make sure I was happy. Very pleased with the customer service and definitely I will be back on a regular basis. read more

I had read all the great reviews and am rather unimpressed. It might have just been my individual experience though. The prices are decent and there was not a wait time. My pedicure technician did not appear to know what he was doing. It was a half hearted and uncertain pedicure. Not very relaxing. read more

Just finished my 3rd fill with skyline. It was ok until I realized I had contracted a fungus on one of my nails. I know it can happen to anyone, and it may or may not be the caught at the salon. But here's what I do have a problem with... the guy used his unsterilized clippers, buffer, brushes and files on my infected nail, and put them right back in his pile to use on the next client. He also refused to put any fungicide on the nail. All the while I was swiping away fruit gnats from the ripening bananas on their shrine. I don't think I'll be back. read more

This place is a hit or miss! My husband and I have been before and he got excellent service, me not so much, I felt as if they rushed thru, we started at the same time but somehow I was done waaay before him and I got my toes polished! I took him back to treat for his birthday and it was horrible for both of us! They rushed through our pedicures quicker than quick! Felt as if we were cheated! Husbands feet barely got scrubbed! My toe nails were not cut evenly! I do not like complaining but I would not want someone else to have to come and pay for this horrible service! read more

I walked in today on a whim. I was driving by and decided to stop for a pedicure. Sandal season is here and my feet were not ready. Mae gave me a great luxe pedicure for just $35. It included a leg mask, hot stone massage, paraffin treatment, hot towels and more. They even offered red and white wine. It was about an hour and ten minutes. So relaxing. She gave an excellent leg massage. We are new to Waco and I was glad to find this incredible nail spa on my first try. I will be back! Very clean and sanitary! read more

Very very very pleased with the experience I had at this spa nails turned out gorgeous and the nail tech was very neat and wanted them to look the best! Only thing bad I have to say is that I normally like to have color on the end of my nail but the tech didn't apply any at the tip. I saw a sign that it was under "new management." I had never been there before, but seeing as it was offering a 20-percent off new customer special, I decided to give it a try on my day off from work (Monday, Feb. 20, 2017). Sandal season is almost here and my toes where gnarly, so I had a great luxe pedicure for just $35. It included a leg mask, hot stone massage, paraffin treatment, hot towels and was ever so relaxing. Then, I opted to have a face wax (chin, lip and eyebrows -- nicely shaped). Kevin did my hands (an acrylic fill). They have an extensive color selection, and also offer the solar and shellacs and stuff. Mr. Tan, (the proprietor, I presume) was gracious and offered bottled water, and glasses of wine! It was so clean and friendly -- I will be back. P.S. When I thought I lost my phone there and came back the next afternoon to look for it, he and my nail tech stopped everything to help me look for it. (Found the phone later where I dropped it near home -- but I appreciated their concern for my property.) read more

Was the pretty excited to try this place out but left pretty disappointed. The place is under new management so maybe that explains it? But it was my first time going there. I've never paid more than $50 to get a mani/pedi with it being nothing less than great. I got a gel manicure and it was sloppy and bubbly. It felt like the person attending to me was in a hurry and impatient. My polish on my toes is already chipping! How?! Overall not a great experience for the price I paid. read more

Definitely a little hole in the wall, but a great place. I'm so willing to drive out of my way though because the pedicures are amazing. The foot massages are very relaxing and they hit all the right pressure points. I also got dip, which was done a little different than I'm used to but it looks great. I've been going here for a couple of years. I drive about 30 miles one way and pass a number of other salons along the way, but Skyline is the best. Tina is the owner and is very attentive and cares about her customers. This salon is very busy, so I call for an appointment. I've still had to wait several times but they always offer a drink while waiting. And it takes me a while to go thru the seemingly hundreds of dip colors anyway so I don't mind a little wait. Gel tears my nails up, and the first time I tried dip (at another salon) they started lifting because that guy put dip on top of my cuticles. A lady working at Ulta actually recommended Skyline for my next mani before I give up on dipped nails. She was sooo right! When Tina does my nails, they look beautiful, never lift and last weeks! Pedicures here are great. Very relaxing. When my feet are set free from confining winter boots, Skyline is where I go so my they look awesome, ready for sandals! For anyone who complains about having to wait, or how long the process takes, you need to wait until you have time to relax. Never rush a mani/pedi because quality takes time. I've noticed some customers being sassy or rude to the nail people. Look...if YOU mess up your nail or break a nail, don't come in mad because YOU did it yourself. If you're mad that you weren't offered a drink, maybe you came in with an attitude. Leave your attitude in the car! Don't bring it in. I'm looking for a relaxing time and I don't want to hear your rudeness. This is a family business and they don't deserve rude customers! I treated my mother and sister-in-law to pedicures and manicures and was less than impressed with the manager who was doing my mother's pedicure. She kept the phone on a chair next to us and would stop and take calls every few minutes. It was very difficult to relax, talk, and enjoy our time together. Even though we didn't appreciate this very much, we would have been okay with it had she not been incredibly rude to my mother. When working on the cuticles of my mother's toes, she was rough and kept hurting her and when my mom would jerk her toes back as a response to being hurt, the manager would get visibly mad. I paid for the more expensive pedicure and she started my mother's pedicure last, took phone calls, and finished her pedicure a good 5 minutes before mine and my sister-in-law's pedicures were finished. I wanted this to be special as my mother was very sick and ended up being one of the last things we all got to go together. The manager lady ruined it. I tried to talk to her privately afterward and she wouldn't listen and was very defensive. I ended up not tipping her, but I wish I could have done more. She was an awful woman and treated my sick mother terribly. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else for our manicures, which we all enjoyed. The lady at the second salon made my mom feel special and we all left leaving happy. The manager of sky nails could have shown kindness but she chose not to. Unfortunately, my mother has now passed and there are no do-overs. read more

I came in for a pedicure today and It was amazing, the chairs are massage chairs so you can also have a relaxing massage as you're getting your toes done! The employees are so nice and quiet, so customers can enjoy themselves. Good pricing, and amazing color selection, and outstanding service. Very unfriendly people. Especially towards men. Had appointment for a pedicure and got there on time and the lady barely acknowledged that I was standing in front of her. In the middle of receiving my pedicure I was told that my feet were to much trouble to work on and that because of the fact that she was very seldom in the building and that she was the only tech in the building that had the knowledge to work on feet like mine the best thing for me to do was find another salon and to not come back to Skyline. Once she was done and took my money she still would not look at me or say thank you. Not one word. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. Especially men in need of a pedicure. read more
