Eva did a great job! I called last minute to see if my sister could get an appointment around the same time as me and they were very accommodating. Super cute place!

Fun! This place is maximalist, fun, and very cute. 4 stars because they messed up our reservation (but fixed it) but otherwise a great time. Got a regular mani/pedi and the technicians were professional and friendly. Reasonably priced and for the area decent quality. Ava was a superstar.

Thank you for a beautiful day of relaxing to take care Excellent service for a pedicure and pampering day that requires special occasions or celebrations of happiness

    Pipes dripping water on us

We booked two jelly pedicures while we were in town. I booked about two weeks before service. When we arrived they told us they were out of the jelly powder. I was disappointed no one called us ahead of time to let us know, that was the only thing we were there for. We asked if we could have a 10% discount for the inconvenience and they agreed but when we checked out we realized afterwards they charged us full price. This place looks so cute on social media but in reality it was lacking. It was dirty and run down, no one offered us a drink with our pedicures, the pipes above us were dripping on us. Definitely not worth the price. I would not recommend this place or ever come back. I wish I would have read the reviews before booking.

I got a full set done on a Friday for $100, assuming I would have them looking nice for a date the following Saturday (8 days after). By Monday, a few were lifting. By Wednesday a couple fell off (5 days after getting them done). At this point who cares because I have time to get them fixed. They were able to get me in on Saturday, where it took well over an hour to get my three nails (as another lifted a lot) fixed. She was clearly rushing as she did not match the lengths at all, my pointer finger was like half an inch longer than the others (I filed it down as much as I could but you can still see in the photos) . Literally by end of day Saturday TWO MORE CAME OFF. I have been getting acrylics consistently for 5 years, I rarely have problems with them falling off ESPECIALLY before the 2 week mark. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the nails. The shape was not what I wanted (almost duck when I wanted square), even tho the services took extremely long, so I had to file them myself AFTER spending so much money. I am floored at how bad the quality is that they would keep popping off. For such a bougie little salon I am shocked. I absolutely don't have time to go in again for another hour or so to get these fixed, so I'm just walking around with some busted nails now:(. The tech herself was very nice as well as the other staff. Overall, I would not recommend this salon if you want nice nails that last the expected amount of time. I will not be going back personally as I spent $100 +tip for my nails to be intact for a total of 5 days. the photos are from after getting them fixed.

Just started when I took this don't mind my horrible nails. Trust me the transformation was goals.

They went above and beyond to service me. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful and both techs I worked with did an incredible job. Also the pedicure with the mimosas and cupcake was perfect. 10/10

    Full Set!

I loved getting my pedicure and manicure by Rae! She did absolutely amazing, and I can't wait to come back again!!

Falling In love with how smooth this set is! So different than your everyday acrylic. Feels stronger too. Gotta go see Ashley, she knows her stuff! Been there 3 times and love the vibe of the place. And they have swings and bar! I'm sold.

The service was like being waited on by friends. They were so helpful in explaining everything and, if you're inclined, they're happy to talk about what they've built here together -- Mother, Son, and Daughter-in-Law, all working in harmony to make this place sing. We've tried a number is wines and dishes get. The Pintxos are amazing. The Tapas are totally on point with our favorite being the Albondigas meatballs. And the charcuterie featured really high quality chorizo, Serrano ham, Manchego and Mahon cheeses, almonds, grapes and an amazing quince jelly that's firmer than a standard jelly and quite delicious. Well be back. And we'll bring friends :-)

We started with the pan-roasted romanesco, which was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The bread service with compound butter was a standout on its own: simple, but done at such a high level that it set the tone for the entire meal. We grabbed seats at the bar, which ended up being a great move. The atmosphere was lively but relaxed, and we enjoyed several glasses from their excellent wine selection. Our bar tender was knowledgeable, welcoming, and she made the whole experience feel elevated without being pretentious. For entrees, my wife ordered the chicken and fries, crispy, juicy, and incredibly satisfying. I went with Blaine's burger, and I don't say this lightly: it's hands down one of the top three burgers of my life. Perfectly cooked, beautifully balanced, and unforgettable. Blaine's is doing something special. If you're in Waco and looking for a place that nails both food and experience, this is it. We'll be back soon.

Presentation of the dishes was attractive and thoughtful, and we were pleased with our wine selections. We started by sharing the poblano corn chowder. Unfortunately, the dominant impression was salt. The soup was more of a brown, creamy sauce with chicken and corn than the aromatic, herb-forward poblano chowder I was expecting. Beyond the saltiness, there wasn't much depth or complexity of flavor. For entrées, we ordered the steak and the ahi tuna tomahawk. Both were visually impressive, but once again the overwhelming characteristic was salt. The tuna may have had a hint of tarragon, but it was difficult to appreciate much else. The steak was exceedingly salty--surprisingly so, even for someone who is not shy about using salt. Service was courteous but somewhat inattentive and slower than expected. At this price point, I would have hoped for more attentive service and a broader range of flavors rather than repeated assaults on the sodium receptors. One final curiosity: water was served in what appeared to be small jelly jars, which felt a bit odd given the otherwise upscale presentation. Overall, Blaine's gets good marks for ambiance, presentation, wine, and especially the live music. Unfortunately, the kitchen's heavy-handed use of salt overshadowed much of the meal. With more restraint in seasoning and a bit more attention to service, this could be an exceptional dining experience.

The Burger was good but the steak bowl was very disappointing. It was $19 but the portion was incredibly small, I think it was one of the most expensive items in the menu, if not the most and it was really small. In particular the deviled eggs and Brussels sprouts caught my eye, unfortunately the latter was sold out so I went with the sweet potato Both dishes I had were really good! The candied bacon paired really nicely with the creamy deviled egg, the hot sauce vinaigrette didn't add too much flavor, but honestly adding a significant amount of heat would've probably taken away from an already very tasty dish. The baked sweet potato on the other hand had a nice dose of heat from the Calabrian honey vinaigrette, the sweet heat combo worked really, I'm surprised I'd never come across a spicy sweet potato dish before, but I'll definitely have my eye out for it in the future Overall I had a very good experience and will definitely be back for future rest stop meals between Austin and Dallas!
