They were true to their word from start to finish. We first met with Steve, the owner, who thoroughly went over everything we needed to know about the process of building the pool, the timeline, materials. He worked with us to create the design of the pool making sure he incorporated all of the wishes we had, made excellent suggestions and addressed all of our questions and concerns. Kelly, Marla, Krystal and all the girls in the office were very professional, friendly and extremely organized. They gave us a guideline of when they would call to set an install start date (which was way earlier than expected), when to pick the liner, when the payments were due and all pertinent information that we needed. The pool itself was built in less than 3 weeks. Dakota worked with us on designing the beautiful patio and his guys worked so hard and did an amazing job completing it. Pool and patio were done in exactly four weeks. At the end, Jack came and taught us "pool school" and went over everything on how to maintain and care for the pool. This pool is everything we've been dreaming about for years. We confidently recommend Dakota Pools to anyone who asks us about our experience.

Please do yourself a favor and google "Stewart Raccuglia Georgia" and you will find everything you need. Throughout our experience with him; he would disappear for several weeks, we caught him in several lies, he was verbally abusive, and did extremely poor quality work. We had to get the police involved twice; and eventually had to get lawyers involved and a trespass affidavit. We incurred well over $20k in unforeseen and undisclosed costs with never signing a work change order which is required by the contract. The project was supposed to take 5 weeks and it took 7 months. Stewart didn't follow through with necessary inspections and permits as he said he would (and we paid him $1500 to do). He called me a narcissistic deadbeat who can't pay my bills and he insulted my husband's appearance (my husband suffers from MS). He gave our security code to a stranger without our authority. He unplugged our security cameras several times and didn't plug them back in when we asked him to. And at the end of it all, we have a brand new pool with leaks, drains that were improperly installed, and a liner that needs to be replaced (for $13k at our cost). Please avoid Stewart and his companies Legacy Brick and Stone and Legacy Custom Pools. This experience has been so stressful, upsetting, traumatizing, and expensive. When he sees this; I'm sure he will call me a liar and say this is slander. I will include pictures of everything I have stated, they are facts not lies. His lawyer has threatened me asking that I take this down but I am reposting because I do not respond to threats or intimidation and I want to save others from this horrific experience.

Prices felt higher than what we usually see at other Suffolk County nurseries, though we didn't buy anything to compare directly. What really stood out was the lack of service. The parking lot was full, but it was hard to find anyone actually working or available to help. If you're after perennials, boxwoods, or larger Japanese maples, Forge River has had a much better selection in our experience.
