Days open but doors are locked.

Honestly love it here overall, except please please please have better hours! We both work at 7am during the week so there's no way we can go to the gym in the morning when you open at 6. Please open at 5! And Saturday Sunday would be nice to open earlier as well...some people like to get an early workout in to kickoff their weekend days too (when you have kids, at 9am half the day is already over by the time it opens sundays!) ETA: went today (Sunday) at 9:30am and the doors were locked?! Are you open or not Sundays? What a joke. The hours are already so limited & now this? I pay $58 a month for this

While I was visiting in Las Vegas Nevada. I am a member of the YMCA, Memphis Tennessee. But while I am on vacation. I love to find the Y that I can be able to take our membership in and use. Which is important. Never the less this one was a beautiful YMCA...the scenery while you are on the treadmills is breathtaking, the front staff is very nice, very friendly and very welcoming. I am so happy that I found this YMCA! My next visit to Vegas would definitely include this YMCA.

My family of 6 has been members her for almost two years. The family membership is very reasonable and includes free childcare. My little kids (ages 2-6) love going to "Kids Gym" and the childcare staff are wonderful. The hours are definitely geared more towards families as it closes rather early 8pm. They membership includes all the general fitness classes and a few free kids fitness classes for ages 5-12. My son really likes the Kids Catch classes on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Swimming lessons, martial arts and dance are available for kids for additional cost. As a non-profit the YMCA offers scholarships for those in need for both memberships and classes. I think they also offer military discounts. Membership at this Y also gives you full access to the other YMCAs in town. The facility is actually owned by the City of North Las Vegas but due to funding they lease it to the YMCA to operate. There is only an indoor swimming pool and the only showers are in the pool changing rooms. The facility is always very clean, is only a few years old and well maintained. The non-judgmental family atmosphere is probably my favorite aspect of the YMCA. There are people of all shapes, sizes and abilities that take the classes so it is great if you are just starting out and worried about working out or taking a class. The personal trainers (Kat is awesome!) are also great and very affordable. I've lost 70lbs in the last year and the Y has been a big part of that. I highly recommend Zumba on Tuesdays and Thursdays with Christina. Kat also offers a boot camp in the mornings that is open to the public for a fee. Overall a great affordable, family friendly gym with a focus on helping the community become healthier!

Hi Carrie! Unfortunately, we do not have racquetball courts at any of our 4 YMCA locations in Las Vegas. Sorry for the inconvenience!

The parking lot is well lit, I don't feel I'll get jacked up if I go in the evening. So why only three stars? Well I've been using either treadmill or recumbent bike as part of my workout. The equipment has the built in TV and in theory the ability to utilize the gym's wireless network to stream the sound from the TV to headphones. I think I've written several emails to corporate and spoke to the manager at least once regarding the fact that the streaming app does not work for any of the local channels or news channels. I get various reasons why it's not working or is delayed, yadda yadda... bottom line it hasn't worked for more than several months.... Yes I could use a corseted set of headphones, but they is awkward on the treadmill. Yes I can live stream the channels I want on my phone and kind of watch that way, but the live stream on the phone does not match the tv on the equipment so that's a bust.... So this isn't rocket science..... let's get the IT guys to move faster or something.

I was informed that because my husband is the listed payor on the account, they would not process the cancellation unless they spoke directly with him. The times that I have gone I don't see any long waits for the machines and or workout equipment. One of my favorite features is the cinema room , such a great idea. When I opened the shower door. I see this very tight faced person looking at me with so much nasty energy. I said, Oh Bless your heart. I didn't know you were waiting for me. She walks by me really cold and face beaming RED. ONCE she opened the shower door. She yells out, You could've picked up in here ! You left it for me to clean!!! I was taken aback by her very rude comment. She saw hair that wasn't mine in the shower but referred to me as I should have CLEANED IT UP REALLY?? WTHELL!!! I did reply which I shouldn't have. This lady just kept going in on me. She then said, You know that this shower isn't for MENTALLY DISABLED people, it's for PHYSICALLY DISABLED!!! NOW she ruffled my feathers. Cause WTF are you implying? I had TWO MAJORS injuries (both by NO FAULTS) of my own. However that's neither one of these miserable people's business. I did report her for being mad Entitled, RUDE, and DISRESPECTFUL. A week ago another one (You guess the race). Did the same thing tugging and pulling at the shower door. This battle ax accused me of dying my hair. She was so negative not giving me an opportunity to show her that I was giving myself an injection. This Administration has given these behind the scene Racists the greenlights to now say or do whatever without there being any repercussions. I wanted to file an incident report but was told by management, Lets not make any hasty decisions...but I'm sure if it were me with the FIRST incident I would've possibly been Banned from all EOS fitness centers. I should've filed a police report because the daughter threatened me. Like I stated earlier, If it were me being threatening or disrespectful I would've possible been given a citation if not worse. Still in disbelief that these old people are not looking at life as a blessing especially with the physical ailments they both had. I'm thankful that I know how to treat people regardless of what my ancestors went through and now what is being seen in "2026."

What stood out to me was that they weren't stuck behind their desks, they were approachable, engaging, and genuinely happy to help. What impressed me the most was that he willingly stayed over 30 minutes past the end of his shift just to make sure I had everything I needed. That level of customer service is rare and very much appreciated. Towards the end of the tour, Eric and Deryc helped me complete my first Evolt scan and took the time to explain the results so I could actually understand the report. Customer service means a lot to me. No matter what kind of day someone is having, showing up with a positive attitude makes a huge difference, and they absolutely did that. I wouldn't have known if they were having a bad day, and that says a lot about their professionalism. EOS Corporate should seriously recognize Eric & Deryc--they deserve it!

Although we are not members, we were able to obtain free day passes via the Planet Fitness app. Upon entering the gym, we were warmly greeted by two employees at the front counter. After checking in, we explored what I observed to be a very clean facility. Being that I have been working out for 22 years, I have grown to appreciate being in an environment that feels safe for everyone; especially considering the fact that I was once the scrawny guy that people poked fun at in the gym. I have heard people complain about Planet Fitness not having dumbbells heavier than 75 pound; however, I think the pandemic has taught folks that you don't need 100+ pound dumbbells to build a visually appealing back or chest. Also, it eliminates those individuals that love to endanger the toes of others by unnecessarily throwing around heavy dumbbells. I also loved the well-maintained equipment, it made me realize that some of the equipment at my home gym is not functioning properly. After finishing our cardio and weight training sessions, my wife and I took advantage of the secluded stretching area by doing a core routine. I appreciated the mirrors that are surrounded by vanity lighting, they definitely added 10 pounds of muscle to my physique (I'm kidding...but they are really nice)! From the workout floor to the restrooms, this facility appears to be well-maintained; there are cleaning stations everywhere, so you would have to be a filthy mcnasty to make a mess here. I will definitely bookmark this location for a return visit whenever I'm in Vegas!
