Days open but doors are locked.

Honestly love it here overall, except please please please have better hours! We both work at 7am during the week so there's no way we can go to the gym in the morning when you open at 6. Please open at 5! And Saturday Sunday would be nice to open earlier as well...some people like to get an early workout in to kickoff their weekend days too (when you have kids, at 9am half the day is already over by the time it opens sundays!) ETA: went today (Sunday) at 9:30am and the doors were locked?! Are you open or not Sundays? What a joke. The hours are already so limited & now this? I pay $58 a month for this

While I was visiting in Las Vegas Nevada. I am a member of the YMCA, Memphis Tennessee. But while I am on vacation. I love to find the Y that I can be able to take our membership in and use. Which is important. Never the less this one was a beautiful YMCA...the scenery while you are on the treadmills is breathtaking, the front staff is very nice, very friendly and very welcoming. I am so happy that I found this YMCA! My next visit to Vegas would definitely include this YMCA.

My family of 6 has been members her for almost two years. The family membership is very reasonable and includes free childcare. My little kids (ages 2-6) love going to "Kids Gym" and the childcare staff are wonderful. The hours are definitely geared more towards families as it closes rather early 8pm. They membership includes all the general fitness classes and a few free kids fitness classes for ages 5-12. My son really likes the Kids Catch classes on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Swimming lessons, martial arts and dance are available for kids for additional cost. As a non-profit the YMCA offers scholarships for those in need for both memberships and classes. I think they also offer military discounts. Membership at this Y also gives you full access to the other YMCAs in town. The facility is actually owned by the City of North Las Vegas but due to funding they lease it to the YMCA to operate. There is only an indoor swimming pool and the only showers are in the pool changing rooms. The facility is always very clean, is only a few years old and well maintained. The non-judgmental family atmosphere is probably my favorite aspect of the YMCA. There are people of all shapes, sizes and abilities that take the classes so it is great if you are just starting out and worried about working out or taking a class. The personal trainers (Kat is awesome!) are also great and very affordable. I've lost 70lbs in the last year and the Y has been a big part of that. I highly recommend Zumba on Tuesdays and Thursdays with Christina. Kat also offers a boot camp in the mornings that is open to the public for a fee. Overall a great affordable, family friendly gym with a focus on helping the community become healthier!

It's alright there's no real squat rack and there's no belts for deadlifting or chalk for the bar if you do decide to deadlift

Question, can you shower here and if so what do I need a membership or?

Hi Bryan, Thank you for reaching out to us! You must be a member to use the facilities. Here's… Read more

The parking lot is well lit, I don't feel I'll get jacked up if I go in the evening. So why only three stars? Well I've been using either treadmill or recumbent bike as part of my workout. The equipment has the built in TV and in theory the ability to utilize the gym's wireless network to stream the sound from the TV to headphones. I think I've written several emails to corporate and spoke to the manager at least once regarding the fact that the streaming app does not work for any of the local channels or news channels. I get various reasons why it's not working or is delayed, yadda yadda... bottom line it hasn't worked for more than several months.... Yes I could use a corseted set of headphones, but they is awkward on the treadmill. Yes I can live stream the channels I want on my phone and kind of watch that way, but the live stream on the phone does not match the tv on the equipment so that's a bust.... So this isn't rocket science..... let's get the IT guys to move faster or something.

I was informed that because my husband is the listed payor on the account, they would not process the cancellation unless they spoke directly with him. Despite requesting to cancel my own membership, the company declined to proceed without his authorization. If you are considering doing business with them, I recommend reviewing their cancellation policies carefully and clarifying who has authority to cancel before enrolling.

What stood out to me was that they weren't stuck behind their desks, they were approachable, engaging, and genuinely happy to help. Eric personally walked me around the entire gym, explaining all of the amenities included with my membership. What impressed me the most was that he willingly stayed over 30 minutes past the end of his shift just to make sure I had everything I needed. That level of customer service is rare and very much appreciated. Towards the end of the tour, Eric and Deryc helped me complete my first Evolt scan and took the time to explain the results so I could actually understand the report. Customer service means a lot to me. No matter what kind of day someone is having, showing up with a positive attitude makes a huge difference, and they absolutely did that. I wouldn't have known if they were having a bad day, and that says a lot about their professionalism. EOS Corporate should seriously recognize Eric & Deryc--they deserve it!

It is surrounded by several businesses you can get errands done quickly The gym its self is very clean. The paper towels and cleaners are stocked. The gym exterior is also clean with ample parking. The variety of the machines is great. They have several platform stations, Hammer Strength and Nautilus machines an average to below average free weight area, outdoor lifting which is great because no one uses it as much as inside, a functional area, and a crossfit type area. They even have a "booty area" and those machines are great! Now to the bad: This location is massively over packed compared to any of the other locations I have been to. The cardio machines have enough to accommodate a large influx, but you will be waiting for a long time for machines. People at this location camp out big time, and it is frequent that people will not stack hundreds of pounds off the machines, making them virtually useless for elderly, small, or not as strong of individuals. They need to crack down on that. The pool, hot tub, and water/sauna area always seems to be shut down which is one of the main attractions for some people. They use myiclubonline, which is notorious for screwing things up. They have nailed me with late fees for insufficient funds with $30k in my bills account. Not this locations fault, but it gets hairy when they come for money. Overall, the staff is friendly and it is a pretty good place to train during off peak hours.
