What a disaster. I…read morehad a 5:30 flight SLC == BOS. The plane was coming in from LAX. Was actually due to arrive early. About the time we were set to start boarding , we get told that we will have a 2-1/2 he delay because the plane hasn't departed Grand Junction yet. Huh?? Our plane is coming from LAX. By searching some flight tracking apps, turns out our plane was diverted from SLC to Grand Junction. But the Delta staff refused to tell us that. The flight eventually comes in from Grand Junction. But apparently the Comfort Plus section - a passenger had vomited all over it. The first cleaning. crew somehow missed cleaning that. So even more delays while Delta had to call in another cleaning crew. But again Delta staff won't tell you a the truth. I only found out since I was standing near the flight attendants and I heard the outgoing Cain crew whisper to the incoming cabin crew. In the end it was a 3-1/2 hour delay for our flight. FAA regulations say that we are supposed to be compensated for delays over 3 hours. But nothing from Delta. What a crap airline. Only lies from them.

If arriving at the airport in the early morning hour wasn't bad enough (with everything closed...even the taxi stand) just to find out American had lost most of the luggage on our flight, including ours. Now we get to stand in a long line for lost luggage with only one person to help. Actually I'm glad they had at least one person to help. After filling out the lost luggage forms we headed out to grab a taxi. No taxi's at this hour. WHAT! So what is a person to do? You download the Lyft app. There were only a few cars available at that bewitching hour so we just stood at the pickup spot, and waited, and waited finally a nice old man picked us up and got us home....finally. With American Airlines you will find really good prices which you have to take in account that their planes are old, dirty, cramped, and low on amenities. The flights were overbooked so every seat was full. American chose our seats for us you are unable to choose your seats on this flight. WTH! I wanted to sit next to my travel companion, not some stranger. We noticed at every gate there was a list of names on standby. I know there is staffing shortages, but come on...don't over book and clean your planes!

Last week, on our red eye from SLC to FLL, they delayed our flight almost 3 hours and moved our gate because the gate agent was the only one there. I presume he was trying to say, I'm tired, you ask can come to me. When we got on the flight, the flight attendant was extremely passive-aggressive. Fir take off and landing, she insisted every shade was up. On the way back, no one seemed to care. On our way home tonight, the gate age t in FLL refused to use the microphone, espousing he could be heard better without it. He also told us the plane had arrived, but it was an international flight and needed to be swept. He went on to say it would take 15 minutes, but this didn't mean we would leave late. If we boarded in an orderly, we could leave on time. It was completely up to us. When we finally boarded, he praised like elementary students, saying we boarded in 12 minutes. When the flight attendants were reviewing the safety procedures, a lot of people were being rude. The male attendant stopped mid sentence and sternly reprimanded 6 passengers for speaking instead of listening. I agreed with their rude attitude, but it was a little over the top. I can go on and on, but I think I've made my point. Bottom line, with rising prices, lack of skymiles, or pre selected seats, and unfriendly service, Jetblue will not be my first choice.

Almost Seven hours direct, I was fortunate to have upgrade availability in First Class. As of August 16, 2024, Hawaiian Air does not have a Premier lounge in SLC. Also know that the walk to B gates from the main check in is a FAR walk as they haven't completed the shuttle yet. But once you're in, you're in! Peter and all the attendants were super nice. Oh the food, excellent offerings from the special team at MW Restaurant! Loved every bite :) and sip :) A little birdie told me that the lie flat seating option will be offered starting December 2024. So all of you ski bunnies flying over for that fresh powder, choose Hawaiian Air, First Class. Enjoy :)

They did not even make an announcement or check to see if the customer was checked in. they did not collaborate with TSA nor did TSA collaborate with them after being asked repeatedly. I was traveling with my family and I spent extra for the seats so we could all sit together. In…read morethis particular aircraft, for some reason, the seats were offset and so we were not right by each other and I asked the flight attendant what we could do so my child was not on an aisle seat not with the rest of us. The flight attendant was very flippant and said that it didn't matter and that I should relax. Or that I could ask the OTHER family to switch. No solutions, no compassion, even though we paid extra and it is their website design that created the problem. I emailed customer service to hopefully show them an error in their planning for families and maybe get an apology. I did not ask for a refund. I was told that I was not due a refund and the case was being closed. That was it. The customer service on the plane, in the office, everywhere is awful and I will not be flying them again. It is worth paying more for a company that is not awful.

Where did they find these wonderful people for their cruise. I am always overwhelmed when I'm done with it, wondering why other airlines can't offer the same quality customer service that they do. On my flight in from San Francisco I was surprised when a customer service manager was talking to some of the passengers before the flight and ask me why I was headed out and I told him that I was going to see my sister and my brother-in-law who are in senior care in Salt Lake City, Utah. And then he saw that I had something on me that said I was a Vietnam veteran and he found out that I am a disabled veteran and that I'm always being pampered by Southwest when I go on their flights and make sure that I'm comfortable and that means a lot to me, but I told him my story it was Southwest over the years and he said just a second. He left for a minute and came back and he had the microphone in his hand and he says I want to take a minute to salute one of our troops that's flying on Southwest and we always salute our veterans and he's a Vietnam veteran and he loves flying with Southwest and he has a passion for good customer service Like we do. But I told my says it's not good customer service it's superior customer service and he said oh I like that. And at that point, he presented me with the SouthWestAirlines challenge coin, honoring the troops with the seal on the front and the five seals of the five services plus the new space force seal on the back I was amazed I was speechless and I'm honored. Thank you, Southwest. SouthWestAirlines isn't a business that takes me to and from destinations it's family that takes me to and from my loved ones with charm, understanding and professional care.
