We really wanted a burger after our tour in the canyons when the temperature was super cold and slackers seemed to be the perfect fit. We went with the double cheeseburger and double pastrami burger. The burgers are good and felt homie, they sure satisfied our cravings. The sweet potatoes were just ok. They didn't have a strong flavor as I would expected. I used to come here during the summer, but once it got bought out by Navajos . This place went down hill. The salad is just a frozen bunch of veggies in a really small bowl, and they got rid of the black bean burger witch is what I used to get. I am mostly disappointed at the fact that the fries the brought me were hard and look like they were from the day before . Such a sad thing for a place that used to be good . read more

After our Antelope Canyon Tour we asked if their was anywhere we could experience native food. Our tour guide said that is challenging to find Mutton, but that Slackers has Fry Bread. The owner, Cedrick was amazing! Sooo very kind! He shared some history and culture with us that we were looking to gain! They made us Fry Bread with salt and honey, and it was the best snack! A historical food that is both Sweet and savory! We talked about sharing cultures and building bridges. Thank you Cedric for being so friendly and welcoming! It truly was a whole experience! You felt like a friend. Thanks for making our trip to Page special! This really should be made a part of the Page experience for everyone! read more

I went here in search of Navajo Tacos because I grew up eating them as a kid when we would visit our family friend in Colorado who is also Navajo. I read the reviews and saw a few people bashing the fry bread but I decided to risk it anyways. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Super yummy and took me right back to my childhood! read more

10/24/211:30pm visit. Slackers... Just like the order taker who couldn't take the orders correctly and one lady working the line without a mask and eating while working. They said the COVID Rate is high in Navajo Nation but these two "Slackers" didn't care for much. One line cook was wearing the "breaking bad" filter mask, but the "slackers" weren't. Some taking it super serious, some weren't, huge contrast. Food: Decent burgers. 1/3 and 1/2 bacon/cheeseburgers were good. They use pre-molded burger meat like the ones you can buy at the grocery store. Tots were plentiful. Straight cut fries were perfectly crispy. The Coke Touch screen fountain soda machine is awesome but doesn't help with preventing COVID. We couldn't find any sanitizing/cleaning chemicals anywhere. Giving 3 stars for the food. If health and sanitation issues were included in the review, I would give a 1 star or a "dead skull" emoji. read more

This place will over charge your card! I bought a green chili Burger ($8.25) with an order of onion rings ($4.25) my daughter got a chicken basket ($11.49) and made into a combo ($6.60). My total was about $40 w/ tip. After viewing my bank statement it shows I was charged $80 from this establishment. Why in the world would I tip an extra $40 dollars for fast food! Sad, part is they do not answer their phone to dispute! PLEASEEEE be aware!!! read more

As the name suggests, it is quality. I had a medium rare burger with fries. The cooked it perfectly. The burgers here are char-grilled, so they have a nice smokey taste. Fries were good. They also have dipping sauces that you can buy or there is free fry sauce. read more

Green chili cheese burger - under new owners and unfortunately they decided to go cheaper. The burgers aren't the same quality of the last owners nor are the fries. They did upgrade there Togo containers but still pass out condiments that are dated over a week ago. Thank goodness I don't use fry sauce. The staff is nice but not as joyous under the old owner. This is my third time under the new owners ordering what was once my favorite burger and now I believe it's time to move on. read more

The burger was poor quality and the curly fries were just over battered and oily. The chicken salad was decent and over drenched with ranch. The jalapeño poppers were subpar they are oily, significant amount of cream cheese on the quarter to half jalapeño. Would not try the place again. We stopped here on our to Williams Arizona. We are headed to Grand Canyon and needed some lunch since we have about 2 hrs left. We looked this place up and it looked good so we decided to try it out. It does look a little sketchy but there is nice outside seating area. Food overall was great. It was super fresh and only took about 5ish minutes for all 6 of our plates to come. It was really pricey but there was 6 of us so that probably didn't help (about $100 for all of us.) But overall there is a wide variety of prices. We are all adults so that also didn't help. There is a kids menu! I got the chicken basket and it was $11.25, but it's a big portion of fries and the tenders and small but enough. My family got the burgers and loved them and they were super big. We also got the shrimp basket but only came with five shrimp and was $14.25. Yes there was tons of fries but am I paying for fries or shrimp? Overall would recommend. But just get the burgers. Big portions and taste good. read more

Our antelope canyon tour guide recommended Slackers and it was very good. My husband loved his green chile burger which had a whole roasted poblano chili pepper on top. I had the Navajo taco was looked like a open taco on fry bread. It was satisfying and the fry bread was fresh. My boys loved their burgers. Finally, I loved that this is owned by local natives. Will return if we are ever in the area again! read more

A local recommended spot to eat a nice, quality , juicy, hamburger. It was big enough to split between 2 people. The burger was delicious! I wish I took pictures but I was super hungry after hiking. Totally recommend adding the seasoned curly fries. Our perfectly seasoned burger had bacon with traditional toppings. The burger place is attached to an ice cream shop if you want dessert after dinner. read more

We arrived pretty late to Page . We were so mixed up with the time since it was daylight savings time where we were and time zones not changing . I made sure to ask we were on time and didn't want to be that customer that came right before they were closing . We were told we were fine . Whew ! The cashier was so patient and answered all my questions as this was our first time here. Thank you for your kindness!! I wish I knew her name ! She already mentioned it would be a wait for our food as they just received a huge order and I was completely fine with it ! Thanks again for the heads up! Our food arrived and wow! It was definitely delicious! I'm glad I found this spot ! The onion rings were crispy and not burnt . The burgers were a great size , I'm glad we didn't upsize ! I'm not a huge burger fan , but after a hike and being out all day and in a car , it seemed refreshing to have and my husband and kids and wanted burgers. We were Extremely impressed ! Whenever I visit a new place, I like to try out their local eats. My kids and I were looking for a yummy, affordable place to get some burgers and fries, we found it! Although this place was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay overcrowded and VERY LOUD when we arrived, so much so, that there was NO place to sit other than outside. We all got combo meals with drinks. I was pleased that they have Coke Zero, which was a nice bonus. We found a nice, quiet table outside and was able to enjoy our meal. After nearly finishing our delicious burgers with fries, a crowd of around 25 people comes pouring out of the restaurant. OH!!! So, they aren't always horribly crowded??? Nope, just a HUGE GIANT FAMILY occupied the entire restaurant. And once they left, WOW did the place get quieter. Too bad all their bratty kids hung out outside RIGHT next to table while everyone else was finishing up, so my sons and I had to hear them and their trivial conversations (rolls eyes and takes a deep breath). But, we were sure to stay afterward and enjoy some of the quiet conversations that we could have once the herd of annoying people left. Then, we went over to their ice cream section because we heard so much about it, and got some ice cream too!!! Yay for dessert! I got a mix of chocolate chip ice cream with chocolate peanut butter. My son got an expresso flavor and my other son got a rainbow mix. All the ice cream was so delicious. Overall, this was a great dining experience. I would have given it 5 stars but it was so crowded and loud when we arrived that the cashier had trouble hearing me when taking my order. Another star could be given if they find a way to make it a quieter place where voices don't echo throughout the whole place! read more

Very mediocre! Thought this place would be a lot cooler but very not cool. More of a diner. Food was meh. Only reason for 2 star is the beer. Very cold inside as well. Ordered an ugly looking salad with cold dry chicken and the squatters club sandwich. If your going to name a sandwich after the restaurant it better be great. It was terrible! So, we came to Slackers as seasoned patrons. In the past, there has sometimes been slow service, but it was courteous, and the food was good. Tonight, however, after waiting in line to place orders and waiting for the food, a meal was missing. We pointed out that we needed another burger. The waiter went in the back and a minute later, another employee came out to read back the order with total and basically say it was our fault for not ordering. (We had the drink that came with a meal). When we pointed out that we WOULD PAY FOR IT, they put the missing order at the end of the queue. The employees then argued that it was a "new order". Just keep waiting while your family eats, sir. The owner finally came in and tried to make it right by apologizing, talking about the dearth of good employees and offering coupons for food later. I feel for the owner's plight, but come on! The food we did get was good, but the service was beyond bad. read more

This is a fantastic local burger joint that serves up some of the best burgers and fries I've ever had. The burgers are juicy and flavorful, and the fries are crispy and golden brown.
