Don't let the sorry state of the strip mall that this is located in fool you. This place has some good burgers. The decor is dated but it works. It reminds me of a place from the late 70's and early 80's. The menu is pretty big and they have a lot to offer. The burgers were amazing. Perfectly cooked and big. The strip steak we had was surprisingly perfectly cooked evenly, with the correct medium rare temperature. It was in fact the best size and cooked steak we had in the area. Waited for over 40 minutes today for two burgers and fries when asked about our order they stated the have to serve their own people (Navajo) first and have to wait unfortunately we paid and no refund. I never experienced racism before that they is not acceptable in this time. I will never go back and wanted to alert others at this behavior and to not go and to not contribute to this bad behavior. Delicious sandwiches and bear located in Page! We found this place after asking some locals at our Horseshoe Bend tour. We were not disappointed at all. The Steak sandwich was absolutely delicious, and my husbands burger was delicious too. The beers on draft quenched our hiking thirstiness. YUM! Found this hidden little gem in a strip mall after a long drive and we weren't disappointed. I had a cheeseburger and my Mr. had a buffalo burger. We opted to make our burgers the meal combo (burger, fries, drink). Pros: Excellent burgers. Juicy, big, fresh ingredients and cooked perfectly. The drink machine allows multiple drink options for soda and non soda drinkers. Fry sauce to dip fries is a huge plus! Cons: No toilet paper in the stall I ended up in. Pricey for a burger joint in a strip mall (two burgers, two orders of fries, two drinks) cost us $24. Very good food, friendly staff but a bit pricey (in my humble opinion). read more

I'm surprised at the time it took them to service us. I have been coming to slackers and the service was always fast and correct. The guy that took our order was rude. He acted as though he didn't have time to explain the new menu on the wall. Every time I asked him a question he raised his voice and glared at me. The place is busy with people s ordering food but no one cooking for about 10 mins. Finally it took at least 45 mins before we got our food and it was cold. This place is great! I got the southwest salad and my boyfriend got a sandwich of some sort. We both really enjoyed our meals. The chicken on my salad was delicious, large pieces of avocado, bacon and some really good ranch dressing! The other reason I am giving this place 5 stars is because I lost my wallet in the bathroom. 2.5 hours later, in Flagstaff, I realized I left my wallet. I called Slackers and they had it! I asked the owner if he would overnight my wallet to me and he said absolutely. I received it within a couple of days with no issues. I am so thankful to the owner and his staff for being so helpful. First off-service was pretty good...at first. The food was not so good. Bacon cheeseburger was well done and then some. Onion rings were burnt. Literally matched the color of the barrel planter outside the door on the patio. Tasted burned as well. Server took them back and left without bringing more. Did get a partial refund. Yet another great Yelp-assisted find. It's not Bachi Burger gourmet, but the burger I had sure was delicious. Slackers is located in an unassuming strip mall type place in the heart of Page. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. I went with the pastrami burger after verifying that it's not just pastrami, but rather pastrami on top of a burger patty. Sold! The burger was oozing with deliciousness. I'm getting hungry right now just thinking about it. There wasn't a ton of pastrami, but enough to make it a balanced burger. In fact, I'd say that all of the ingredients (cheese, lettuce, tomato, etc) came together perfectly and held together well. I hate it when a burger falls apart and is hard to eat. I also had sweet potato fries on the side. Those were as good as expected. I found it interesting that they were crinkle cut sweet potato fries. I don't think I've had that before. Burgers with a twist. While in Page for the canyon tour we stopped in for dinner. The food is reasonably priced and the food we had was very good. I had the pastrami burger and it was very good. The wife had a chicken sandwich and liked it very much. The onion rings were battered and cooked just right. When you took a bite you actually took a bite instead of pulling the onion out of the breading and leaving a batter shell. It looked like the locals like the place as well. read more

When we were choosing restaurants in Page, my uncle said, how can there be good beef here in the middle of no where. Until we came to Slacker... goodness... you have to come here. This is probably the best food we had in Page and we ate out twice a day (with only 40 restaurants to choose including fast food). The burger was flame broil so nicely that the outside is crispy while inside is moist and juicy. I had a pepper steak sandwich which was awesome and ended up ordering another burger just because they smell and look so good... and it taste awesome! The patty was well cooked, the cheese was nice and spicy, the pickles were lacking in flavor and amount, and the fries came in a big order! Honestly, two people can split 1 order of fries (sweet potato or regular) and be fine. The sweet potato fries were good and came with a side of ranch to dip them in, I really liked that! My roommate got the green chili burger and she said it was good, but could have been better and spicier. The regular fires were really good too, and their special sipping sauce was pretty good on both types of fries! The atmosphere was cute, I like the decorations, and the staff was friendly and funny. This place is honestly so good! We were recommended by a local to come try this place and we were sure happy we did. The burgers and fries were so good that our whole table didn't talk at all during the meal because we were in such awe and were enjoying the food. How can you not want to a restaurant with the name slackers quality grub? If nothing else just to see what it's really like! I ordered the chicken dinner which was a chicken breast, salad, sweet potato fries and bread. My husband had the chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries. Both were average. This place is in a strip mall. $5-$6 for a burger and they have a few other things if you don't want a burger. The place is not fancy but don't let that discourage you. I had the green chili burger. It had a slice of green chili in it and it was not hot. Wife and son had a regular cheese burger and they said it was good. Now why I give it 3 stars is because my daughter ordered the chicken strip basket and they forgot to bring it with the rest of the food.
