BEWARE THAT THIS RESTAURANT DOES AN AUTOMATIC GRATUITY CHARGE of 18% UPFRONT AND CHARGE A CREDIT CARD OF 3%!!!!! This restaurant is now part of Dara Thai Express and I also posted this review in the Thai and Korean place too as there is no Dara Thai Express on Yelp. First of all, we did not read on a menu that they charge a service charge of 15% for a party of 2 to 4 and 18% of 5 or more (just saw a pic in yelp page). HOWEVER, there were only 2 of us and we got charged for 18%!!! I am super NOT happy about this. It could be a mistake or a total dishonest of the business or server, I don't know. But what I find very shady about this is that there is still spot for SUGGESTED TIP at the bottom when it should have said "ADDITIONAL TIP" like most honest restaurants! Most people don't read their bills and will automatically add tips to it! Please see a picture of the receipt posted. What is worst is that the server did NOT come check on us AT ALL. Every time we needed something, we needed to flag someone down. I would have been fine if they actually provided the service they charged us for (and it should have been 15% too!). About the credit card fee. Yes, it's on the menu but who is really going to read every single line on the menu? I believe the server should have mentioned it to let us know too! I would have paid cash for it if I was told about this. I am sorry but I find this very irritating and dishonest. In terms of food, we got a cream cheese wonton, pad thai, 2 pieces of fish and chips, and a strawberry magaritas. The portion of all dishes are big. Pad thai is just okay. It's not traditional at all in case you are looking for something authentic, this might not be the place for you. Fish and chips are also okay. Nothing impressive, just like other fish and chip places. The wonton part of the cream cheese wonton is too thick. I would not recommend it at all. I have had this dish and a lot of places and by far this is the worst I have tried. Strawberry magaritas is not good at all. You might as well order it at an actual place with a full bar. Again, I do not recommend this place at all. Food is ok. We did not receive a service we were charged for and we also got charged a higher service charge too. I hope the business owner makes changes to this. At least lets customers know upfront about the service charge being included in the bill AND change the suggested tip on the bill to 'additional tip' as well as telling people about a credit card fee. read more

Unfortunately, this place the epitome of a tourist trap. There are four "restaurants" in one suite in the Safeway strip. We went for Nemo's fish and chips, which is the last page of the menu for Dara Thai, Korean bento, etc etc. The service is pathetic and you'll have to beg for water refills and drinks. will nickel and dime for everything. They are 18% gratuity to the check along with 3% credit card fee. Skip this place and go spend your money at a fast food place. read more

If you're looking for good seafood in the small city of Page, you don't have a big selection of places to choose from, but I'd say that this place tops the list. Located in the corner of the Safeway plaza, it is a small and quaint, little shop that only has one table and a couple bar stool seats, but has outdoor seating as well. Ordered the fisherman's platter which is approx $23 and comes with tempura shrimp, fried clams, calamari, French fries and two pieces of fried cod. We actually swapped out the fries for a side of cole slaw. The plate was delicious. Food was fresh and didn't have an overwhelming batter taste. The fried cod was my favorite. Fresh, hot and flaky and I only wish it came with more! The cole slaw is made to order and it was super tasty. What put this place over the top was the service. I had two dogs with me and the owner Don brought out a pot with water and he also gave us two bowls full of boiled chicken for them to eat. We really enjoyed the food and hospitality at this restaurant. I got the fish and chips and my husband got the fish tacos - which were so big they were more like fish burritos. The fish was good quality and fried nicely. The fries must have been battered with something special because they were the perfect consistency - crispy outside but not hard inside. I ordered the 2 piece fish and chips and it was more than enough food. Actually, I wish I had shared my meal with my husband so we could have had room to try the calamari! The owner is really friendly, but this is more of a fast casual kind of restaurant where you get your own condiments and bus your own table so you can't come here expecting to be waited on hand and foot. If you want more of a service atmosphere, you should probably go next door to the Thai restaurant. We ate outside on the picnic table with our dog and it was really lovely. I felt like something a little different tonight. Restaurants are slowly starting to open up again... But I'm still skeptical about eating out with other people right now because of Rona. Fish and chips sounded good so I picked up an order to go and I was pleasantly surprised. Fries were flavored and cooked nicely and the fish was pretty good! Tartar sauce and lemon wedges were nice, I would've also liked to have some malt vinegar to dip the fish in though. Interior looked ok, nothing to be excited about. Husband manages this fish and chips place and wife (Thai) manages Thai restaurant. No restroom at this place so he tells you to go inside the Thai restaurant. Felt strange for going inside a restaurant just to use a restroom but they sort of expect us to come in. Almost all the dishes served here is less than $10. Fish they used on the day I visited was Alaskan cod. It comes with tarter sauce but also he brought his own spicy sauce, which was quite tasty. I had crab cakes, decent size, deep fried well, can't normally have crab cakes for less than $10! As small and casual they are, they have a liqueur license and serving ice cold bottled beer. Since they own both here and Thai, you will be surprised with variety of beer from different countries! I ended up having Grand Canyon Amber but was really tempted to try something else. We came to Nemo's Fish and Chips after a long day in Antelope Canyon and were pleasantly surprised with the food and service we received at Nemo's. First off, the restaurant shares a parking lot with Safeway so there is ample parking. They are located next to a Thai restaurant, which according to previous Yelp reviews, looks like is also owned by the same owner. The restaurant itself isn't large - there is a high table area which seats about 5-7 people and a big family-style table. Let's talk about the decorations... they were SO cute! You can tell the owner really put effort into making his restaurant unique and one-of-a-kind. Really loved the vibe they had. Onto the food... we ordered the fish & chips, spicy chicken strips, and spicy wings. Every single one was delicious. Expect flavorful and moist chicken and extremely tender and soft fish. Even the fries were perfectly crispy, with the right amount of crunch. Food was delivered with both regular tartar sauce, spicy tartar sauce (which was my favorite), and ranch dressing. Service was just as great. You could tell the owner really cared about his business and was very attentive to our needs. He took initiative before we were even able to ask. Overall wonderful business and even though we were only in Page for a couple days, we were very happy to support this business! Also, fish and chips is an item I compare between restaurants. The fish and chips here were perfect. They feature malt vinegar so this was comforting and the packets to go were solid. May recommend an aluminum foil to sit under the chips so it doesnt soak through the paper dish, but small detail. Usually I dont eat tartar sauce, but I tried this one and it was actually quite nice. Who would have think there's legit fish and chips place in Page?! We came because we are fans of seafood and we ordered fish & chips, Calamari & chip, and a bowl of clam chowder. Calamari's batter and the fried fish batter are very different. Calamari's batter is a little thicker with lots of pepper in it and the fish is lightly battered so that you can taste the freshness of the fish, just the way I like it. The clam chowder is a little more watery than I'd have preferred but it was okay-good. I saw people eating food from next door Thai restaurant. Apparently, they are husband and wife. As a seafood snob, I was very excited to try this place after seeing the great reviews. We were thrilled with our meal and can't recommend Nemo's highly enough. This was one of the most amazing seafood spots I've ever experienced! The food was fresh and delicious. The calamari was perfectly seasoned and fried just the right amount. The fish and chips were thick and flavorful and the fries were delightfully crispy. To top off an incredible dining experience, the owner was SO nice! He made me a custom plate, offered a spicy tartar sauce, and brought out napkins when he saw us eating outside. Anyone who goes to Page, AZ for Antelope Canyon (or any locals, for that matter!) Food was good. One of the better spots in Page. I would recommend the fish and the calamari. Don't get the shrimp, I thought it would be legit fried shrimp but it ended up being those tempura fried shrimp you see at japanese/asian restaurants. The fish was delicious and crispy. The cole slaw was also good, and slightly sweet. I see what everyone means about the owner.. he was nice to my family, and even checked on us sitting outside. When we left he waved to us from inside. However, I saw two native american men with a little child go inside and they got turned away for whatever reason. We found this place on yelp, figured fish & chips is something different and would give us some variety in the food that we were eating in our road trip. It's located in a shopping complex next to a Safeway and a Thai restaurant (which is run by the same couple - so they share the same facilities). When we went, unfortunately they had run out of their calamari, so we opted for some other options instead. I got their fried shrimp and chips. Their shrimp is more of a shrimp mousse that's been fried in tempura-esque batter - paired with their tartar sauce and some ketchup - yum yum. The batter is nice and crisp to contrast the soft interior of the shrimp and offset with some of the tangy lemon and creamy source.
