A heads-up if you're planning to order a sweet roll: the current price is $8.50, although the printed menu still reflects the older price. Our waitress explained they switched suppliers to Swells Sweets, which increased the cost, but the menus are only updated annually. I appreciated the explanation. As for the sweet roll itself, it was a little dry for my taste, but the generous icing helped balance it out. One detail I appreciated was the coffee service. My wife ordered the medium roast, and I ordered the dark roast. The waitress placed a paper coaster under my cup so anyone refilling coffee would know which blend to pour. It's a simple system, but it shows attention to detail that many restaurants overlook. Check out the photos of the different sugar and sweetener selections available for coffee and tea, along with the variety of jam choices served with toast. Those small touches help create a welcoming breakfast experience. At 9:00 a.m. on a Saturday, the restaurant was packed, yet we still managed to find a parking space and a booth. Even with a full dining room, the service remained friendly, attentive, and efficient. Two years later, Sybil's continues to deliver a consistently good breakfast experience. That's becoming harder to find, and it's why we'll continue coming back.
