This place is a dive. Pretty much a place where the older crowd hangs out on the regular.

5 Points Grill & Pub - Crispy wings with an old bay dry rub & a variety of sauces for dipping. We loved the everything, honey mustard, and mild Buffalo sauces.

Often, there were restrictions in place that would limit how much one could drink on a given day. In our modern day, the "pub" is a place in which the sole purpose is to have a drink, maybe eat a burger, possibly play some pool, and generally hang out with friends and/or acquaintances. Situated at the intersection of five roads in Mount Bethel, PA, seems fitting for this establishment, as my partner and I passed by numerous times on our way to visit family members and decided to stop here as first-timers for lunch. Five Points Grills and Pub is a small-town restaurant offering comfort food with happy hours, plus live music. Upon arrival inside at the bar, my partner, his family, and I were greeted by the staff and got a table immediately by the window at one of the dining areas. The interior was casual and inviting, with festive loud music being played throughout while watching several football games on their TVs at the bar. Outside dining is available, weather permitting. Their menu features two full pages with good options and a separate page of specials. We decided on two sets of 10 wings with 2 sauces out of 16 sauces, a grilled cheese sandwich, a grilled chicken sandwich, sweet potato fries, a Caesar salad, a house salad, and potato soup. The food was delicious and in very healthy portions. The service was quick and accurate. Our server, Olivia, was friendly and funny. If you are ever in PA, stop in and check this place out.

This has officially become one of my favorite brunch/breakfast places. Unfortunately, I live in NYC…read moreso I am not sure when I'll be back but the food was delicious! First, the restaurant is so cute. It's like you're transported to a teahouse! The staff are really friendly, and they let you know immediately that everything is farm to table. The eggs were a deep yellow so I knew it was the truth. If you go, definitely order the biscuits and the mimosa flight. The biscuits comes with 4 different spreads (fig jam, peach butter, strawberry butter, and a brown sugar butter). The biscuits were a good size, and my favorite spread was the fig jam. I wish I could have put some in a jar. The mimosa flight flavors are so fun. I was not a fan of the soursop but the lychee and passionfruit are really good. For the main dish, we tried the chicken & waffle and the tres leches French toast. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and was crispy. The French toast was actually on a croissant. I can't wait to come back here!

I went with an Arnold Palmer while everyone else got different coffees. I ordered the short rib grilled cheese (asked for no onions, but it came with them). The waitress was super nice about it and had it remade right away. The short rib was tender and really flavorful, and the salad and homemade chips on the side were great. The rest of the table got omelettes and enjoyed them too. Would definitely come back to try more of the menu.

Every time…read moremy friends and I go for hiking in the adjacent Delaware State Park, We always stop by here for dinner. The restaurant is tucked away off of the road amongst a residential area with lots of homes surrounding it. Parking lot is pretty spacious. The entrance is dimly lit and cozy and feels like we are walking into someone's home. The main dining room is very large and has many many tables. Although my experience sitting here was that it was super cold in the summer with the air conditioner. I have dined here once before and had a mixed experience and did not write about it. However, this past fall when my friend insisted we give this place another go, I had a wonderful experience. This time around, I ordered the grilled Branzino and we also ordered the lamb chops and stuffed mushrooms to share. The mushrooms came piping hot, my only suggestion would be to maybe lower the amount of butter in this dish, it was literally swimming in butter. However, the taste was pretty good and it was very cheesy and gooey. My grilled Bronzino was amazing, lightly seasoned with a really fresh char. I love their Turkish take on the side salads here complete with pomegranate seeds and an acidic but bright dressing. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection with all their fat properly rendered and crispy. Service is always spectacular as usual. They are super hospitable and kind. In the past when I was not happy with a steak dish they gladly offered to make me a new one or have it comped on my bill. They really go above and beyond to make sure you have a great dining experience. If you are from the area or are contemplating having a meal here, do not hesitate to check this great restaurant out.
