Very pleased with my custom barn door from Adrian at Slatts2 Sliders. The final product turned out exactly how we wanted it. Actually, even better. Adrian's service was top notch too. He had outstanding communication from the beginning when I first inquired about a custom door. He let me know the options, pricing, lead time, etc. I was able to pick the style of door, color/finish and even a different finish on the hardware (one that he normally doesn't use), but he was able to accommodate my special request. His turn around time was fairly quick. In less than a week we were making arrangements for the install. Adrian was on time as scheduled and the installation was smooth. His extreme care and attention to detail was evident, as well as his conscious effort to keep his work space clean. He went above and beyond and for that I am extremely grateful. Adrian came through and custom built my bathroom door that I envisioned. Barn door white with silver finishings. He did am amazing job and even left me extra pain and the door key. Definitely recommended for sure. He even did a quick side hustle for me to mount 2 or my TVs (which i did pay extra to him for as a courtsey). I would definitely recommend him and his pricing are good!!! read more

I had a tiny half bathroom that had an odd size door. It's in a narrow hallways so I struggled from using cheap laundry accordion doors to bifold doors and nothing seemed to be pleasing and or useful for our household until a friend of mine recommended Adrian for a barn door. Adrian was very responsive and was able to provide me with a quote with just the measurements I provided. He was out when he promised with my door and installed it. The service was superb. He was done within 3 hrs if I remember correctly maybe even less. It has been one of the best decisions I made. This review is way overdue but I'm finally getting around to giving credit where credit is due. Adrian does amazing work. He comprehended the vision I had in my head and executed it to perfection. He was patient in understanding my needs and put forth great ideas to enhance the project in ways I did not consider. He has amazing attention to detail and takes extreme pride in his work. He is also super responsive, works quickly (but doesn't rush) and is an all around pleasure to collaborate with. Moreover, his prices were 3x lower than other big door manufacturers and the huge bonus is the environmentally sustainable nature of his work. Our neighbor was so impressed with his work that she also hired him. And he has since done work for family members nearby. The pavers contractor and other trades were standing at our house ready to go. The pavers contractor crew decided to demo our driveway because they were already there and didn't want to lose a day of work, then left after two days leaving our entire property a total mess for a couple of months until I get someone else for the pergola (couldn't proceed because pergola footing had to be placed by whoever was doing the footings, impossible to get anyone on short notice now). Couldn't access our garage, couldn't charge my car at home, kids couldn't go outside etc. See photos. We have had the full range of experience with trades, from fantastic to terrible. We highly recommend Pro Handyman Service!…read more I wanted to write this review because we had a request that, while not unique, wasn't that easily categorized under a common household repair category, so we decided we would look for a general handyman that would be able to do it all. We have a sliding barn door for a guest bathroom, and because there was a bit of a gap from the wall to the door, it wasn't very private for our guests, and there was also no latch on the barn door. It's a strange choice for a bathroom, but we also didn't have the budget to change the entire door. I reached out to a few pros to get their assessments, and Pro Handyman Service was not the cheapest option for this job, but they had great reviews and I appreciated that they gave me an upfront quote. The quote actually helped me to budget accordingly, and I didn't feel like there were going to be a bunch of hidden charges that I wouldn't be able to plan for. I also felt that Pro Handyman Service was easy to communicate with and they responded to my questions very quickly over Yelp messages. They are busy, by the way, so try to schedule early so you can get a time slot. Denis arrived at our home promptly and on time, and was very careful to keep the home clean by wearing booties to cover his shoes. He listened and reviewed the situation, then gave us several options based on his opinions and experience. For example, he said he could use either wood or plastic paneling to add a "privacy edge" to the sliding door, and we ultimately settled on wood for the sides and plastic for the top of the door. He had everything needed for the job and just needed to leave to purchase the wood paneling and returned promptly to do the install. He also painted and caulked the new wooden privacy edge on each side of the door. We had already purchased a latch, which he also installed while accommodating the added privacy edge to the door. Denis worked very quickly and efficiently, leaving no mess behind. As you can see from the photos, the installation looks quite neat and clean, and almost looks as if the door came that way. It was nice that he was able to cut the privacy edge to accommodate the baseboard, too. Overall, this was a very positive experience with Pro Handyman Service and we think you'll be pleased with them as well! Hopefully this review will be helpful to anyone else who is looking for someone who needs a handyman (and especially if they have a specific request that might be similar to ours)!

I had a very odd issue of an extremely shakey washing machine, which after several repair attempts led me to inspect the floor. Denis his colleague showed up to move the washer/dryer and inspect the floor, and determined it was not level (it was VERY uneven). Denis gave me several options for how to proceed. They took the time to show me the support frame under the floor and explain why it wasn't level, and what they could do to level it as much as possible. I had hired Pro Handyman Service to address the floor only, but after they were finished and placed everything back the way it was, Denis asked to see a wash cycle on the washing machine to see if the floor fixed the machine as well - it worked great, no more intense shaking! I feel very blessed to have found such an excellent talent for the price within my budget. This gentleman has exceptional work ethics, very respectful, and always kept his words. For example, he made an additional trip and came back to add a piece of framed moulding per my request. This was after I had already fully paid him.
