Well in NYC all of the good silk pressed salons and hair stylists have all of these appointment requirements and it really felt so good to see this salon state that they accept walk-ins and just to call prior to coming in. Well, let's just say this was the best hair treatment that I have received in a very long time well 5 years to be exact. I went natural and this was my very first silk press and yes I got the works done. Let's just start with the amazing customer service I received when I just walked in and then the ambiance was just as amazing a the service. My stylist was Jonyece and she was very professional and she made sure that I was aware of all of my services and she definitely had the hands of magic because my natural hair came out so beautiful. The services I received was a black color, treatment, trim, wash and blow. Happy to say I now have a go to salon in Georgia. I would definitely recommend this salon to any of my natural yelpers out there looking for a natural salon where they can get an amazing silk press.

Nonetheless, my point is...I walked in for a "Blow & Go with a trim", I had been growing out my "baby bob" for 2 months. My hair was almost shoulder length and doing well, i just needed a little "dusting" of my ends. Walked out with an AWFUL MUSHROOM with layers cut in the back, no blending on the sides...I mean totally messed up a 2 year process of hair growth. Not to mention the "hostess" washed my hair and brushed it wet? I've been told this is a "no-no" in Haircare. Stylist didn't even clean the combs between clients, dropped the comb on the floor and just picked it up and continued to use it. DO NOT TRUST THEM AS I DO NOT BELIEVE ANYONE AT THE FACILITY FIR LICENSED!!!! BTW...I leave for a trip today and couldn't even sleep last night, that's how jacked-up my head looks! She would need an additional $40 just to trim my ends lol. I could go to great clips or any other salon and pay no more than $25 for just a haircut alone she's gonna tell me 40 after she already gave me the price with the cut included so the cut was almost as much as the other services now? Needless to say, I told her after she finish my hair then I will go elsewhere and get it done which I did and only paid $20 for my cut. They don't deserve business and they don't deserve any stars !! She's got my hair bleached blonde and still grows down my back. I adore her customer service and she gets me in and out. Most salons you have to spend the day there but not here. No complaints. The salon is very clean and in a great area. Plenty of parking and the shampoo's I get there are like Jesus himself is washing my hair. Tried to drop in on a Wednesday afternoon to get my son's hair cut, but they didn't have any…read morestylists available to take a walk-in. So, I called the next day and scheduled an appointment. Judy was able to take us in at 4pm. The salon is a decent size. They had 3-4 hair stylists working when we arrived. All were busy with a customer. Everybody had enough room to walk around. Parking is limited and is shared by other businesses, including a popular neighborhood restaurant, Three Blind Mice. As long as you make an appointment before the dinner rush at TBM, you should be able to find parking. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by the stylists then Judy took my son to her station. They got started immediately. My 10-year old has been really picky and particular about his hair lately. So when Judy asked him what kind of style he wanted, he was not afraid to be very specific. My son would stop her and make a comment or ask questions while she was cutting his hair. Judy was very patient and listened to his requests. My son was very pleased with his haircut and so was I. We both got what we wanted. My son's hair looks so fresh and so clean clean. He has gotten so many compliments. We will definitely come back and see Judy for his next hair cut!

After getting medium-sized knotless braids, here's what I found: Location & Parking: The shop is about a 45-minute drive for me, located right off a major road in a busy but pleasant area. Because it's in a plaza, parking was easy--plenty of spaces available when I went. Pricing: The cost was reasonable, around average for the area. I felt it matched the quality of work. Promptness: Some reviews mentioned long wait times, and I did notice one customer waiting a while. It seems the salon operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Fortunately, I was seen right away and finished within about 5 1/2 hours--pretty quick compared to my past experiences. Final Verdict: Despite a few minor drawbacks, I'd definitely return. The quality of the braids and professionalism made it worth it. Let's keep them in business!
