During my initial consult, Rakeb was on time, very friendly, and she took time to listen and advise me on the best approach to get what I wanted. I've been looking for a trustworthy and reliable hairdresser since I moved to Lilburn. I visited this location yesterday for the first time and had my hair done by Maggie. I have very thick hair and usually have a hard time finding a stylist that understands my hair texture. Maggie specializes in thick hair and did an excellent job on my hair cut and styling. I was unsure of what I wanted when I went in and with her advice and styling, I left the salon feeling confident as ever! I am so glad to have finally found my local salon! Ginger is the owner and she charges $71 to provide a haircut. And I mean JUST a haircut. No shampoo, no blow dry, no styling, no color, no nothing. She is super nice and very accommodating, but even as the owner, she should let the customers know that they function on the tier system. If you want a haircut that you ask for, you need to have her.l and her very high prices. We have very short hair and those prices are ridiculous to pay for the minimal amount of "services" rendered. My family will not be back. We are new to the area but can not justify paying the prices she is requesting for the type of haircut provided. read more

I don't know what's the nicest way to rate a salon as a one star.. basically to make my long story short: I needed my blonde touched up & a glaze (toner) well my normal hair stylist has been booked out for a while & he was actually on vacation so I decided I would get a partial highlight & a glaze because I mean it's highlights who can mess it up? Mmmmmmmmmm that's what I get for cheating on my stylist. She did a partial on me, she said she had 17 years of stylist experience but had been with the company for 3 months.. big no no ugh. So once she starts drying it a little so I can see what the color looks like... omg. I had bleeders everywhere! (Bleeders are when too much decolor is put in the foil & it sweeps & then is put on the other pieces of hair kinda like cheetah prints) yeah I had those. She then proceeds to tell me that those will fade over time.., uhhhhhhhh no they won't. That's when I tell her I'm a licensed hairstylist I know how that works. She offers to fix it because I'm not happy I politely tell her no I was honestly so mad I didn't even wanna be there anymore I paid $112 to look like a troll doll (specifically the yellow headed one) I laugh now because my regular stylist came home the following day, I called him & he worked me in! Overall good experience. I have had my hair done by both Maggie and Leah. Both are good at cut and color. The salon is up to date on the latest trends and have very nice amenities. They have complimentary head and hand massages which is really nice! The salon also offers the delicious aveda tea. The have a nice ambience that feels clean and organized. Bottom line:..come here for a nice hair experience...with complementary hair and hand massage as well as delicious aveda tea. This is the third time visiting Janida here. Every time I have gotten a haircut, and additional service, either color, deep conditioning treatment or keratin treatment and every time, I walk out of there with a smile on my face. Even, when for the Rankins at the salon Janida is a junior, stylist, she does with my hair exactly what I want, and it looks exactly how I imagined it. Anazao Salon in Snellville is the only place I'll go to get my hair done. Whether I just need a trim, highlights or the whole package, I know I'll walk out of there, looking new and feeling amazing. I've been with a few different stylists at the salon and though each of them have their own style, they all work with the same set of high expectations. They will make sure your hair is healthy (extremely important!!), cut and styled to flatter (in my world, beautify) your face and they know how to treat the texture of your hair (especially if it's curly like mine). I am giving them 5 stars on here and two thumbs up but you can't see that right now. I should have made this review years ago when I started going ... Better late than never. Y'all go see Jenida. I have played "hairstylist roulette" ever since losing my main girl to a move. Jenida has done my hair now 4 times and she has always done me right. She is up to date on all the newest hair trends and techniques, and she will try to help you figure out what is the best cut and color for you, in a real down to earth way. She works quickly and has never made me feel like she overbooked herself or forgot about me. She is so friendly and genuinely funny, it feels like hanging out with a friend. I admit, I was a little defeated, I had visited about 5 different salon's in Snellville and all of them told me they don't do "ethnic" hair. I have really long human hair extensions that are Virgin Malaysian so I didn't think it would be that big of an issue, but for some reason all the salon's in the area were "afraid" of my hair. Just as a sidebar, I was throughly disappointed that the salons that claim to be the "Best" in Snellville according to various reports, referred me to a black salon. You can't really claim to be the best if you can not do hair of all backgrounds. But Thank you Hair God for sending me to Anazao and Meredith! I wanted to get a cut that was more flattering to my face and a blow out. When I came into Anazao Salon, I did not have an appointment but I was extremely surprised at how quickly I was serviced! I was asked if I would like a Jr Stylist or a Premier stylist and I chose Premier Stylist Meredith. Meredith consulted with me about my desires for my hair and let me partake in the awesome cucumber water the salon provides its clients. Not only did I love the cut that Meredith gave me, but it was by far one of the best blow outs and cut's I have ever had. I really loved the entire atmosphere of the salon. Everyone was friendly, warm and attentive. As soon as I walked out of the salon about 4 people complimented me on my hair. I will be coming back soon for another blow out from Meredith!! I was a client for over 2 years. No matter how many pictures I provided, my stylist just could not get my cut or color right. I was told my requests could only be achieved with more expensive process, which I did. But my last straw was when my hair looked like someone took scissors and cut a chunk of my hair off in the middle of the back of my head. You know its bad when your husband says something. I did not go back to have it fixed, after all who wants someone who messed your hair up to try and fix it. So I went to 3 different salons for consultations to have my hair fixed. Two were very vocal about how bad my cut was and were surprised it was done by what is considered a high end salon. The third person did not speak poorly of my hair of the previous stylist. She just said what she could do to fix it. After two appointments with her my hair is EXACTLY the way I want it at HALF the price. No, I don't get a hand or head message but I get quality work and because I pay so much less for services, my new stylist reaps the rewards in her tip. read more

I love Aveda, and their standard. Unfortunately, not all the colorists and stylists at Anazao uphold that standard. When you are a Aveda Concept salon then there should definitely be a consistency since the investment can be pricey. Soon I will be calling corporate customer service. Please be aware that you don't have to settle. After seeing what happens next I will either make suggestions or even suggest another Aveda concept salon within 10 miles. read more

The owner of this salon is quite vindictive and was so bothered by my repeated calls to avedas corporate customer service line to complain that she has now harassed me by phone. Very unprofessional and inappropriate! A very outdated salon. Florescent office lighting does not provide appropriate lighting for any hair salon. Applying color taking a skilled stylist and good lighting to achieve a good outcome neither of which this salon has. I highly recommend you drive 30 minutes into atlanta and visit jamison shaw instead. read more

Great stylists. Very friendly, atmosphere. They offer you water or whatever. The stylists washes your hair and then give you a complimentary scalp and neck massage. It may only be a few minutes but its heavenly. I paid $38 for the girl who cut my hair. The next level lower is $28-33. This is a REAL salon, not Great Clips a few doors down. You get what you pay for. My hair has never looked better and I get tons of compliments. (This is not a kid friendly salon. However as a mom of two small kids it was nice not to have the children with me or hear children crying.) read more

I can only give one star and that is for the customer service.......it was good. I decided to venture out and try someone new to cut my hair since the last person hacked it off. Well this girl cut my hair uneven so i went back to get it fixed and she did it again! So i made her fix it while i was there. Then come to find out i get home and another spot was uneven very noticable at the bottom! Needless to say i wont be back now i have to have someone else fix the mess up. I started going to Anazao about a year or more ago after having my hair cut by the same stylist for 10 years and I am so happy I did. It was one of those times when my hair was driving me crazy and my original girl (other salon) was on vacation & a friend told me to give Anazao a try. I called & got in the next day with Lindsey. From the second you walk in the front door, you are greeted and escorted to a private changing area and offered a beverage...you feel like you belong there. I told Lindsey to use her judgment on the colors but gave her a basic idea of what I wanted. When she washed out the color, she gave me a free scalp massage....heaven!! My hair had been growing out for a while and I asked her to please give me "style" and it looked great!! She spent a long time blowing my hair perfectly straight (I have extremely curly hair) and also flat ironed it. I questioned her on the different kinds of straightening processes, which she explained to me so a normal "non-hair specialist" would understand and now not only does she cut, color, highlight and style my hair....she also does a Brazilian blowout on my hair every couple of months. I have never had straight hair in my entire life until now and I LOVE it about as much as I love Anazao & Lindsey. I get compliments all the time and my husband thinks he's with a new woman.....haha!
