We've shopped this store many times over the last 5 years and every sales person has been great. We've bought a few sleep number beds. The most recent being a gift for our adult child. The bed with the adjustable base is fantastic! We have the least expensive mattress in our travel camper. Awwwmazingly comfortable that way too. We've bought pillows, sheets, and air heaters here. We purchased a Sleep Number bed, was told we have 120 day trial, WHAT WE DIDNT catch was IF we returned the bed & adjustable frame that we are STUCK with a $2,200 useless frame. In sales, you have 3 basic type of salespeople: 1.) 'Used Car salesman.' So awkwardly pushy and insincerely friendly that he makes you feel uncomfortable and pressured to buy immediately. 2.) Helpful professional. This person understands that we live in a consumer-centric world shared with large, online retailers. They know that to make a sale, you have to be genuinely helpful and build a good reputation. Even if the customer doesn't go with you - they are likely to send you referrals if you treat them right or compose a shinning Yelp Review. 3.) Doesn't give a crap. This person is (for whatever reason) irritated. Maybe they profile you and instantly decide that you aren't a good prospect. Perhaps they they got in a fight with their spouse that morning before work. Maybe they aren't good in sales and are about to get fired. Either way, they are rude, short, insulting and unhelpful. This is how we were treated at the Marysville Sleep Number Store today. We walked in and were at first greeted by a very helpful salesman who said that he would be right with us. Instead, another man with a sour attitude hap-hazardly began to start talking at us from across the room. Discounting our knowledge and trash-talking a competitor. Needless to say, we quickly left. I just want to thank Scott for all his help. He was very helpful and informative when we started looking for a new bed. He went over all the options and did not push us on the most expensive bed. He was so helpful, that we took my dad there the following month to find a bed that would work for his disabilities. read more

I've never regretted spending $10,000 more in my life. First of all the so-called sales people at Sleep Number store don't know how to listen to customers. They tried to Force Credit on us when it didn't go through that we could get enough credit to buy the whole bed they try to jam credit down my wife's throat we told them we didn't want it and guess what they did they gave us credit anyway without our permission. Our bed was supposed to be delivered on March 31st. On March 28th I called our local store to ask when our bed was going to be delivered. The person who answered the phone instantly insulted me by saying I should have gotten the information I ordered the bed. He then condescendingly told me about the policy that they would give me a call three days prior to set up a delivery time. So when the three days prior day came we called and my wife found out that the incompetent idiots hadn't even ordered our bed yet. So now we had to wait until April 22nd to get our bed delivered in our headboard wasn't going to be able to be delivered until May 19th. 2 days ago I received a message they couldn't even call until they spoke to a person they had to leave a message and tell me that I wasn't going to get my headboard now until May 27th. I would discourage anybody from buying a Sleep Number . Go to any other Shop try some other bed manufacturer. Sleep number is a garbage company they have garbage employees and they treat their customers like garbage. So the thieves they take your money they don't deliver on time they don't deliver what they said they were going to and then they insinuate that the customers stupid cuz he doesn't know what date he's getting his mattress. This is actually been the worst retail experience of my life I regret the entire process. read more

Spent $5,000 on a bed... $5,000 DOLLARS on a bed and after 2 years it completely broke. The "warranty" is really a just a "discount" on parts and you either have to fix it yourself or pay them to fix it... I'm furious and will never do business with sleep number again. What a joke! read more
