This review is for "commercial grade" LED globe string lights; but, trust me, I have had better luck with the cheapo grade from At Home and Wayfair. The strand was defective and the lights were extremely fragile for commercial grade. Despite these obvious issues, I was not issued a full refund upon my return of the product. Previously, I had twice ordered fairy lights with which I have been pleased. Lights for All Occasions has lost this repeat customer. I recommend that you not spend your hard-earned money on their commercial string lights. read more

I wanted to do something a little funky this Halloween with white outdoor lights. I wanted these fun little skeleton lights but couldn't find them anywhere. Andy (customer service) was super and helped me find them. He also told me how to mix together different kinds of string lights to get the effect I wanted. I will be able to reuse some them at Christmas - obviously not the skeletons. I spent around $200.00 - that's a lot of money for me so I was a little nervous. I've ordered several different items from LFAO's, and the last order happened to be blue light bulbs. A few weeks after I hung these lights outside, the color started to wash off. They happened to send a link for me to give them a review. I gave them a less than positive review about the product losing color. Within 24 hours, a representative contacted me with an apology, that the batch from the manufacturer was bad, and that my replacement bulbs were in the mail. I'm extremely impressed with the customer service, the products and the recovery after having a challenge. I would highly recommend LFAO's and their product, but they really win me over with the amazing customer service level. read more

Nearly $300 for a single string of lights? Two days after ordering a single string of outdoor LED lights for our patio, I realized they were going to be too bright for our small space. The company would not let me cancel, instead making me wait 11 days for them to be delivered, then having to print out a return label, and pay for both ways of shipping. That's nearly $34 for shipping on a single string of outdoor lights!! I found the perfect LED lights I wanted at a local store for only $28 -- the Lights for All Occasions string cost 10 times that amount. read more

I recently built a pergola in my back yard but wanted to be able to use the pergola after dark in addition to all the time we spent under it during the summer days. I bought the 100 foot string of bulbs with alternating clear and pearl (frosted) bulbs. The string and bulbs arrived without incident within 10 using the standard shipping option. The string and bulbs all came in one large box. At first I was a bit confused why the string did not have lights in, upon further examination the bulbs were packaged into smaller boxes of 25 bulbs each. I thought that this was weird and a bit of an inconvenience having to install all of bulbs into the string when it arrived. This, however, turned out to be genius! I was able to hang the string without fear of break the bulbs. Once I screwed all of bulbs in plugged the string in, I knew I made the right decision on the string I chose and for buying them from Lights for All Occasions. read more

Ordered almost $400 dollars worth of product from Lights for all Occasions. Ordering seemed easy and self explanatory. I had the box shipped to the site for my destination wedding. A lot of what came was correct: taper candles, tea lights and $170 dollars worth of the lighting. Unfortunately $90 of the lights came with no lights in the strand and the bulbs they sent didn't fit the stings. Weddings are crazy and I could not repack and send back the lights. I ended up having to leave them there unused--total waste of money and left the site a lot less lit than I was hoping. Also the strands that they did send were for another $40 of paper lanterns, so those were wasted too. When I got home and called customer service they offered no concession for their mistake, except that they were "sorry." Obviously they are not concerned with retaining me as a customer nor their reputation as a retailer. Considering they sell products for special, important events, I'd steer clear of Lights for all Occasions and buy elsewhere. read more
