Despite the age of this set, we continue to appreciate the exceptional quality and timeless style of this Fish purchase. Unfortunately over twenty years the set was showing some stain/finish wear and tear primarily around the bases from vacuum cleaners, dogs and five relocations. We initially contacted a local refinishing business to see if they could perform the repairs, but they didn't provide an in-home service and would require the set be brought to the shop. On a whim, I thought I'd contact Fish to see if they were aware of someone that they would recommend. To my surprise, they said they ABSOLUTELY could, as they had a person on their staff for 30 years that did this sort of work for their Fish customers!! This is a 20 year old purchase! Within a week they had Bob out who was able to bring these pieces back to their original beauty and we could not be more pleased. Fish Furniture takes care of their customers! Thank You!!

The movers were professional and caused no damages to the furniture or the studio when they brought things in, definitely worth the price to add movers! Still getting great use out of the bed and dresser. The other day, I found a sleeper sofa that still looks pretty good (a little wear but no tear!). After looking up the sofa's original new price, the Bank was selling it for only a tenth of the price tag! The woman who helped us was very sweet and patient and allowed me to test out the mattresses on several before choosing. I have movers scheduled and am hoping/anticipating good service like last time. Again, still worth the $125 moving service!

To start the appointment he discussed the differences in ours and theirs. I am not really sure what company the comparison was against because other cabinets I looked at were very similar to northeast factory direct. I then felt pressured to pick the exact cabinet selection. He said they had off the shelf and then more custom cabinets and he made it seem like I couldn't change my mind. I had a design layout and then he proceed to recreate it in his system even though I asked him to offer his own ideas. I just left feeling that no personalization was made to the process. Plus their prices were higher. I suggest shopping around before making a decision.
