But happily, Bargain Supply had a plethora of options. We are now expecting two stoves, two refrigerators and a dishwasher next week. Ordering was easy. We walked back through aisles and aisles of hardware goods. This part of the store reminded me of Harbor Freight. The back part of the store is dedicated to appliances with many to choose from. The prices seemed more than reasonable. Along with brand-new models, they have floor models and some scratch and dent options as well. Our salesperson was helpful when picking out what to get. He made some good recommendations based on these appliances going into rentals. Bargain Supply also delivers and can take away your old units. Our appliances are set to be delivered next week. We've known him for over 10 years and we have been purchasing things here and then. Finally, based…read moreon our friendship, we hired him to decorate our basement. Things didn't go well. Lots of things appear to be used or cheap, Temu level. We asked for antique posters, we got a print that we found online for 1/10 of the price. He also dumped the boxes in our basement, and we never heard back from him. If we are paying for his hours, I would expect service, including someone coming and unpacking and he doing the adjustments, etc. After a few months, I decided to unpack, that's when we found out about the poster and also that some items were missing. We then emailed him, and he looked very responsive saying he would do the adjustments but never did. Months and months just pretending. Enormous emails basically saying he was feeding poor children and awkward unrelated comments. He even insinuated we were having money problems since we wanted our money back. I order things from people I don't know all the time and when there is a problem, those people are usually helpful. I was not expecting this from a person that I have known for over 10 years. Now, I believe his friendship is only for his benefit and it is not real. Be aware of all the fairy tales of how he says he is, of how he has good heart, how he treats his clients and how they treat him. For me it was not only a money pit but also a personal disappointment. It sucks but that is how life is. btw, I still don't have my money back after 7 months of emails.

I was able to find a derby glass from my birth year here (harder to find up north) so that was a win! We were able to get through it in a couple of hours so there a good amount to look at and reasonably priced too. It was fun going through here for sure! When I'm back in the area, it'll be somewhere we pop back into to see what is new and what grabs our interest next time.
