Just had Johnny Cakes at Sleepwalkers Sunday Brunch. Highly recommend! Very nice historic feel and welcoming atmosphere!

This unique spot is located in an interesting area. There were bookstores and theatres all attached. The brewery itself was a really beautiful building. They have a mug club that they partnered with the pottery place next door. The beers were delicious and we really enjoyed ourselves. They participate in hop passport so it's a great deal. They also participate in tagabrew. So we grabbed a couple tags and were on our way to the next stop!

Went for dinner last night. We got a large salad and two pizzas. The pear and gorgonzola pizza was surprisingly good, and the jagged little dill pizza was great if you love pickles. I really like the crust on the pizzas, but as others have noted, they are fairly oily. In addition to the food we had a couple glasses of wine and a flight of five of their beers which were also really good. We were there for a couple hours and the place was constantly busy. Despite that, service was pretty good and everyone was friendly. The place is small so consider going when it's warm enough to sit outside as that nearly doubles the capacity.

Move over Domino's! Sleepwalker's "Jagged Little Dill" pizza turned my good Saturday into a great one! In this humble connoisseur's opinion, they are now the superior pizzeria.

The pizza here is delicious, and the ambiance of the restaurant is a great spot for a sit down date night. The Italian stallion was delicious, but I think the pizza was a bit too oily for my liking. Overall, still tasted great and I highly recommend this pizza joint for anyone in the Lansing area to try!

REO Town is a fun place to visit, but until recently, there wasn't really anywhere to eat after Saddleback closed at (way too early) 7 pm. Now, there's The Rusty Mug and Sleepwalker. Sleepwalker distinguishes itself with its cerebral aesthetic - perfect for someone named "Brains." One wall is lined with old books about everything from eye surgery to an illustrated guide to the Catholic bible. The bathroom doors feature faux-Rorschach inkblots. And, everywhere you look, you see the meticulous attention to detail. I feel like I could visit this place a hundred times and see something different each time. By design, the menu is minimal and focused. My group ordered the breadsticks with premium cheese blend and dill dip, torta with tortilla chips, Caprese sandwich with potato chips, and the pear and gorgonzola pizza. I had a REO Town IPA with mine. The food came quickly. The portions were more than enough. The breadsticks were excellent, and I couldn't stop eating the dill dip. If I could change one thing about the breadsticks, I would add more cheese, but I'm a very fat man. The torta had a nice kick to it. My friend didn't complain about his Caprese sandwich and didn't even offer to let me try it so it must have been good. And, the pizza was star. I strongly recommend ordering the pizza if you can only order one thing. I'd also add bacon to it. The beer was good, but coming from the Pacific Northwest, I prefer my IPAs to be hoppier. But, for people who don't have my old, worn-out baseball glove palate, the REO Town IPA should suffice. Overall, I love the place. I'm hoping to become a regular.

I really want to try their pizza because it looked amazing. Met a buddy there and had a few seltzers, which are made on-premise and you can choose up to four flavorings. It was unique, and I enjoyed the taste, but I would have liked it served over ice, maybe in a larger glass to offset the volume. We also had an appetizer of chips/dip that was really good. The interior looks like an old office building, which just adds to its charm. This is a welcome addition to REO Town!

Great local brewery (wine, beer, seltzer, micro) with an expanding menu. Unique pizza combinations & a great atmosphere inside! -The pear + gorgonzola pizza is fantastic! -The new Mexican pizza that debuted recently is another top pick!

Trendy and chill vibe. The beer and seltzer's were pretty good- we enjoyed being able to choose different seltzer flavors as a flight. We ordered the breadsticks and a Margherita pizza. The breadsticks were decent- but it felt like something was missing and they were very simple tasting. The pizza sauce had a really great taste and the top part of the crust was very crunchy, which we prefer. We enjoyed the visit overall and the waitstaff was very nice.

Beers are top notch and pizzas are great. They don't cut corners...always use high end ingredients. Relaxed, chill atmosphere.

Tasty beer and a great vibe. The service was great! Pizza was just ok for me, but I'd be willing to give it another shot.

Couldn't finish the sandwich because by the time I got to 1/3 left it was a sopping ball of goo. I probably should have scooped at least half of it off before I attempted to eat it. I Left it in the basket with a few onion rings (which were very good!) Too wet to finish. I recommend WAY less mayo to the establishment. I swear they applied at least 1/4 cup of mayo in the sauce for my (single) burger. Flavor was very good, but the sauce volume prevented me from finishing it. Regarding service: It was awesome. Bartender was knowledgeable and attentive. She knew what she was doing. I recommend sticking to beer if you are drinking. I ordered gin and tonics and got their own gin ("Hard Nose Gin"). It did not appear to resemble a traditional gin, but the description describes it as "juniper-forward". It was alright, but not my choice. I stopped by the night before and had a couple of pints of the Blood Orange Blonde, which was EXTREMELY good. I have never tried any of their other beers, but, given my experience, there appears to be a lot of promise there. Overall, a very good experience. I recommend. I still think they need to cut down the sauce on their olive burger - by a lot. But the flavor was very good. And the burger was cooked to my liking. I will definitely visit again. I get to the Lansing area a few times a year, and I'll be back.

I just looked on their website. It is even smaller than the last time I was there. Since I am a light eater and traveling, I was stuck with 2 small salads or sides to choose from. I got a small Cesar and side of beer battered onion rings. Both were average at best. Waitress was AWOL most of the time. Music was loud so table conversations was a little hard. I suggested another place closer to the hotel with much better reviews for next year dinner before our meeting so I don't have to come back here. Many in our group agreed.

I was with some friends and old coworkers when dining here, so I wasn't dining alone today. I was surprised there wasn't more people here since it was happy hour, but such is life. I ended up getting a hamburger with truffle fries as an upgrade since it sounded tasty. The burger was fantastic, though I wish it was a bit bigger. Truffle fries were good and it came with a really tasty dipping sauce. Our server was good but she did disappear for a while and when she did come back, we all asked for additional beverages. The place is clean with plenty of seating inside and I'm sure outdoor seating when the weather gets nicer. I'm not a huge drinker so I know they have a good beer selection, but didn't order since I wasn't really feeling it. Overall a great experience with a great menu, would return in the future.

Nate and I stopped in for a quick drink and a snack while in town and were seated right away in the bar area. I think they are pretty well known for their pizza, but we just went with an order of the buffalo chicken dip, which was bubbling hot and a large portion (we had plenty of leftovers). It was quite salty, but I guess that's to be expected. The chips were fresh and crispy and I liked that they give you some crostini as well. The drink prices were wild -- I got a large (maybe 20 oz) seltzer for $3!! I couldn't believe it. Service was friendly, basketball games were on the TVs, and I liked our visit. I think we'll be back next time we're in town.
