My son wanted to have dinner here after his graduation as this one of his favorite places to eat. The place was lively with fresh graduates and family members celebrating! My wife and I ordered the Detroit style pizza (Green Pepper and Onions), cheese curds, fried pickles and french fries to share with the table. The server was very attentive and came back multiple times to check on us and refill our water. As for the the food - the pizza was delicious and the crust was fluffy on the inside and has a crisp on the outside. The edges were nicely cooked with the carmilized cheese. The cheese topping still has some nice pull. The cheese curds were hot and fresh. The pickles were crispy and seasoned just right as were the french fries. The fries had a light breading on it. What a great night with family and friends and appreciated everyone coming. Service was great and food was delicious. When we come back, we will visit here again! read more

Came in on a quiet Sunday afternoon (snowstorm at the time). Service was fast and polite, the ambiance was good considering it's a sports bar and you go there for burgers and a beer. Unfortunately that doesn't make up for the food issue. My party and I split some Mozzarella Sticks which were good, but that's a very basic dish. The issue was with the Duke Burger that came out overly grilled (to the point of being charred on 80% of the surface), which is sad since the actual internals were cooked perfectly. The other item ordered were the Fish & Chips, it came out with 2/3rds of the plate just being french fries, a dollop of mediocre coleslaw, and some actually pretty decent Fish & Chips, just a smaller than average portion. If you want to watch any game, this is where you should go. They have dozens of TVs with views from every seat. Our server was Angel and she was friendly and checked in on us often. Went with a couple of friends. Very disappointed in the food. Ordered chicken tenders with Asian zing dipping sauce, which was basically a buffalo sauce. Server was friendly, but when asked what type of fries I wanted, was not informed of the up charge for waffle fries, which was disappointing. Dislaimer: in general, sport bars, through no fault of their own, are just not my kind of restaurant. I tend to prefer either slightly more "elevated" or "focused menu" dining OR local spots that feature foods from specific countries / regions (places started and owned by someone who came here from anther country often) over the broad and sometimes oddly curated menus of a sport bar. The menu here definitely had that normal "lack-of-theme-theme" that I'd expect at a sports Bar (burgers? Sure! Lamb chops? Sure! Middle eastern style bowls? Yep! Ahi Tuna? We got that too). We shared the calamari, and I got the lamb chops small plate and my wife got the chicken quesadilla. Around the world in three plates I guess We were really quite impressed - the culinary stretch of being able to do something as quick and simple as a quesadilla alongside something not typically found at a bar like lamb chops, and doing them both very well and serving them quickly, left us impressed. I also love when places have a variety of plates sizes which allow us to lean into our preference of ordering more variety rather than two massive American single-entree portions that we can't even finish. Overall, we were quite happy with our visit, quick service, and extremely quick order-to-meal time! If sports bars are your thing, you're definitely going to want to check out this one! Art & Jake's is a new highly welcomed sports bar in the area and it is well-appointed to boot! There is a TV screen in every direction you look, abundant seating options, room at the bar for you and your friends and your friends friends and their friends! The place is massive with a bit of a partially obstructed view concept. While you can see all TV's from any seat, you can't see all the people except for in your area due to partial stone wall partitions throughout the dining floor. The are pretty but take caution leaning up against one as it may snag your clothes or hair. The bathrooms are clean and nicely sized as well. Our waitress was the bees knees!!! She was pleasant, patient and informative! We were there for an extended stay to include dinner and a football game. Although the place was packed, we felt well taken care of! We tried a little bit of everything on the menu. We started with burnt ends and Saganaki (not pictured) both were tasty and enough for four people to share, besides who doesn't like flaming cheese?!?! Our entrees were filling and delicious..enough to munch on for the duration of our time there. (The fries could have used a little help in the crispy category but they had good flavor). Welp! It's ANOTHER sports bar! Huge. Spacious. Marble tables with fire on some - which is cool, but only if you bring 5 or more people. My wife and I weren't a contender for such coolness. Instead we were seated at a large long marble booth. It was a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty full. Maybe 75%. We were greeted and seated. We had a nice server named "Taylor". She was kind and took our drink order. Of course there wasn't any priced menu of beer and drafts. So I asked for a tall 22 ounce M43 and my wife ordered a 16 ounce Two Hearted. Then we sat and looked over the menu. My wife's drink came out 8 minutes later and mine was having the tap changed. It was about 20 minutes all in all to get that beer. I'm glad we had water. I ordered 12 lemon pepper rubbed wings for 16.99 and some fries for another 2.99. My wife got a personal pizza. Another 20 minutes went by. We saw our server a dozen times welcoming other tables and knew she was busy. Finally a runner came out and gave us our food. It was COLD. Cold chicken wings. Cold fries. The pizza was lukewarm. I asked my wife if we should talk to them about it. But no one ever came back to the table. And we were hungry. So we ate. The 12 wings were ok. Half of them teeny tiny meatless wings and the others were drumsticks. They were good. But at $17, they should have all been winners. Finally Taylor came by and we asked for the bill. She promptly printed it out. The shock to me was that my 22 ounce beer was $12. TWELVE. DOLLARS. For one beer. NO WONDER they don't put prices out. And I know bars do it all the time but this was gregarious. My wife had a 16 oz and it was $6.75. But it was double for me for another 6oz? Rip off. And people say, ohh it's the ambiance. Nah. I can get ambiance at a zillion other places. And good food. Warm at least. What a disappointment. Sad thing is, Dave and Busters will be opening about 3 blocks away soon. The constitution the facility was obviously done thoughtfully by a company well versed in running sports bars. You probably won't find a better TV set up anywhere. The food is fine, solid by sports bar standards. It's the inattentive service that ruins the experience. Every (3 or 4 time) I've been in, and sat at the bar it's the same. It's not that they are ever short staffed, but they never are attentive, or even seem in a good mood. I don't think I've ever witnessed a smile from anyone. I own a couple bars myself. If my staff was giving service like this, they would be getting some service training, so they would improve their game, or we would find other staff. Come to think of it, why are there only ever women working behind the bar? Apparently the old Hooters philosophy of trying to cater to straight men hasn't gone away. I'm always disappointed, so I need to do the self respecting thing and stop coming. Look for a better option, we shouldn't be rewarding poor service with our dollars, even if they have an awesome TV set up to watch the game. read more

Went right after it opened and was wildly disappointed. Cool Bdubs type atmosphere, but nothing else was very cool. My fiancé got her burger cooked medium and you can look at the photo. It was raw. She hates complaining at places so she stayed quiet. When I saw it I said something to the waiter, he said he would let the kitchen know.... didn't offer to take money off. I followed up with customer service and never heard back. As far as my food, I also got a burger, it was very average. Completely average food at best and the fries were very lackluster. Came here with my friends who are 22/23 years old. Because they had out of state ID's they told them they had to take them to the back and blue light them. They came back and told them they were fake (they are very much not). All of their managers said they were fake and it took Covid cards, passports, and threatening to call the non-emergency police line to prove them they weren't fake. I totally understand the worry of fake ID's, but if you are going to be an establishment with this sort of policy, you need to be trained well enough to be able to tell if an ID is real or not. DO NOT ORDER THE GODFATHER! I am very disappointed with my visit to Art & Jake's last night. I'll start off with the good, I think the staff was good. Our waitress said it was her first day, you couldn't tell, she seemed like a seasoned pro. Love the ambiance with TV's everywhere, all turned to sports. When the Michigan State game started the game was played over the speakers. Now for the bad, my food. I ordered the Godfather panini. It was supposed to have Genoa salami, ham, and provolone. When the food came out the person delivering the food referred to it as the Slim Jim (ham and Swiss), when I said I ordered the Godfather she took it back to have the salami added. She brought back the same sandwich, sans salami. A gentleman I assume was a manager came to our table to see how our food was, I said "I think they got my order wrong", he agreed the sandwich was missing the salami. He had them remake my order. The new sandwich looked the same as the first one. Turns out there is one single, thin sliced piece of salami on the sandwich and two inches of ham. I ordered the sandwich for the salami, I almost asked for no ham. The manager came back over, thinking they still hadn't brought my replacement. I told him they had and showed him the single slice of salami and told him I ordered it for the salami. He suggested next time I order the Slim Jim, which was an odd suggestion since I told him I wanted salami, not ham. I could tell he didn't know what to do or say next, I think he agreed, the sandwich was a poor excuse for a Godfather, so he said, "better luck next time". I am a good person, I think it looks poorly on an establishment when they misrepresent the food on the menu. The Godfather wasn't a Godfather, it was a ham sandwich. We sat at the bar, the bartenders need training and someone who knows something about abt beer pours needs to check the lines. Every beer, EVERY beer, it's 1/4 beer, 3/4 foam. They will pour 2 beers and pour one into the other glass to try to make a 1/2 mug of beer a couple times. It so wasteful. Mgmt needs to be more responsible and help their bartenders. I came with a group of 4 to eat dinner, we requested fire seating and they had told us fire seating is for parties of 6+. A while back, I had came with a group of 3 and got fire seating. So, is it really only for groups of 6+. As we continued our night, we ordered and food started delivering to our table. They had sat us at a small table which our food barely fit on. Fine, whatever we worked with it. We finished eating and got our bills. We got two different bills with separate orders just to see they were messed up. Went with my adult son for some burgers. Sat at the worst table (next to kitchen and drink well and bathroom) in the place even though it was only about 70% full. Very disappointed in the hostess. Also, the staff would congregate right behind our table and chat while they waited for tables to need attending. Very poor seating experience. Burgers were good (not great). I had the rocket fries (potato wedges) which were good and my son had the regular fries which were just okay. Not that I expect a lot from the plating here, but the serving of rocket fries was too small for the plate. It looked like I got short changed in the side department. Overall a disappointment. I really wanted to like this place. Looks like it could be a fun place to go and drink some beers and have some bar food.
