Sold me a mattress thats from ashleys furniture store thats 200$ cheaper there, gave me a medium firm mattress when i specifically told them i was looking for plush then tried to claim that its the same thing. UNTRUSTWORTHY! very charming during thr purchase however when you are not satisfied with your purchase everything changes. The sales pitch you heard is entirely denied and you are shown store policy printed on the back of the bill of sale that you don't have knowledge of until after the purchase. You are treated with extreme disrespect. After a 2 hour back and forth with a manager who not on site they agree to replace the mattress as I was originally told would happen they try to deliver a used mattress poorly wrapped in plastic obviously not NEW. MOST DECEITFUL company extremely stressful experience of my life and I am a SENIOR! Hopefully this will save someone this kind of horrific experience! read more

Do not buy at Sleepworks in Patchogue NY. Purchased a bed, the salesman told me it was latex. brought it home and saw the tag said polyurethane foam. Tried to return it less than 1 hour later. They said it was a final sale and could not be returned. Looking at the dirty tag I actually think they sold me a used bed. If they had told me that to begin with I never would have purchased. They are dishonest and lied about the mattresses. Will never do business with them again and will warn anyone looking for a mattress. read more

My son needed a new mattress, box spring and frame- full size. In addition we needed a king size mattress. We chose Sleepworks on Sunrise Hwy in Patchogue. I should have known better when I was told that the mattresses would take at least 2-3 weeks to be delivered. After 3 weeks the mattresses were delivered. Two weeks later my 18 yr old son (6ft 200 lbs) sat on his bed and two of the wooden slats on the bed broke. I called Sleepworks and spoke to a rude man who told me they don't cover that but I could buy a new one if I wanted! I became increasingly angry when he acted very condescending and snarky while speaking to me! He had no regard for his customer and did not care if I was happy or not with his product. He did not stand behind his product and did not care to help us or correct the situation. I spent $2500 in his store and he refused to replace the $99 box spring! He was rude and when I asked for corporate number he would NOT give it to me!!! This was a horrible experience and terrible customer service!!! I will be sure to post in social Media and make sure people Know to NEVER shop at Sleepworks!!!! I am disgusted!!!!! They get ZERO STARS for terrible customer care!!!!! read more

I had my couches that I paid $1,600 for delivered this past Sunday the 12th and the experience I had was the most horrible experience anyone could imagine. First off I was told I would get a call the day before to confirm a window of time they would be delivering the couch. Never got a call. I had to call around 12:30 that day and the person that answered the phone was no help and told me to call back in 15 minutes. So I waited and called back 15 minutes later and was told that the driver left about 30-40 minutes ago and would be to me any minute. With that said another half hour goes by and I'm waiting outside as I see a little pickup truck driving down my block with my couches tied to it and not even covered. I was livid. I said to the guy I was expecting a company truck with my furniture covered. Especially since I paid a delivery fee of $100 to reassure me that the couches would come delivered the right way with no damage. His response was we do this on the side to help them out. So after that he had a younger guy with him who had no idea what he was doing whatsoever. He told him to go up with the couch he would go down. After about an hour an a half they finally got the couch in my apartment. At that point I was aggravated and just wanted it done. Come to realizing later on that day that they had ripped the couch as they were moving it. I called the store Monday finally spoke to Elwin yesterday said he would get back to me never did so I called again today Wednesday and was told by Elwin that the owner said that I got the couch for a good price so the only thing they could do is pick the couch up and refund me. I work in customer service and know this is not a way to run a business. I would NEVER do business with them again and I would not recommend them to anyone. read more
