This is a great venue with a beautiful garden outside. My close friend just had a wedding reception at this place. Lots of parking spots but can be a bit of a walk. However, there were a few things that did not make the event run smoothly. First, I didn't feel the hostesses there did much. When the bride arrived, no one approached her to offer help. She already arrived a bit later than planned and panicked when she found the bride room was locked. Little things like this really can have a huge impact on wedding day and add stress to the bride. We actually could only see staff from the catering services and one of them was very helpful and offered to look for a venue staff to open the bride room door. We weren't satisfied with the sound system. The microphones made some loud squeals. One hostess was in charge of controlling the audio, and during the one of the performances, the music was so loud that it startled the guests and made a baby cry. Also, the couple planned to show a childhood slideshow as part of the program, but there was only one TV mounted to the side, which could only be seen by like 20 people, so it was a bummer they decided to skip the slideshow. Btw, this venue had three stories, so multiple receptions can take place at the same time. Some guests entered into someone else's reception because the side door was opened. They did have a sign with the names of the couples to direct guests to different rooms, but some guests entered through the side door before they could see the sign at the main entrance, so there was some confusion. Also, I believe there was only one elevator. It's not very convenient for those going to the reception on the third floor. Overall, the venue looked amazing, but the service provided was poor. I will not recommend this place to couples looking for wedding venues. read more

I held my ring ceremony & reception at this location in the sunset room last year - and let me tell ya, the compliments I received from having our wedding there were too many to count! It is such a beautiful space AND the 3 girls who were assigned to help us all night were truly, amazinggggg. They helped me as the bride feel so much less stressed, adjusted to time differences well, and did exactly what we needed them to! Everything was done on time and done well by the venue. They were so easy to communicate with before the wedding and day of! I could not recommend this place more! I was so happy we chose Sleepy Ridge!! read more

I do not think I can fully articulate the experience I had here on my wedding day. Before the wedding day, they communicated well and willingly accepted our payments to use the property. On the day of the wedding, they had no microphone for the ceremony. They expected us to yell during the whole ceremony(which isn't possible). When guest asked the hostess to find a mic, she of course could not. To make matters worse- their whole ENTIRE sound system was broken. My car speakers sounded better than their "new" sound system. Near the end of the wedding. the hostess said that we would get a partial refund- however when asked for that, they offered $200. For anyone who knows the price of this place knows this isn't a partial refund. After calling them out for the lack of care they increased the refund amount by a little. As a bride- I had to call them and text them multiple times because they willingly ignored my mother when she called. My husband was upset on the wedding day as well. Which says something to me because most grooms are just there for a good time. Overall I felt disrespected, embarrassed, and regretful during this whole experience. Sad part is, I cannot get my wedding day back and Sleepy Ridge seemed to hardly care. I know this is long but it is a honest and valuable review. read more

The venue turned out beautiful will all the decorations and the employees were helpful for the most part. I am disappointed at how we spent so much money to use this venue, but we had to take out the trash after the wedding? I'm sure the owners who use this not only as a venue and as a golf course can afford a cleaning crew. That was ridiculous. Luckily our family stayed to help clear out the room. I wouldn't recommend to book this venue because of that trash issue and I also didn't like the fact that we share the same parking lot with another wedding and the golfers at the same time. Some people have to park on the side of the road. Not to mention sharing the entire venue with another wedding, their photographer was rude to ours and our bride and groom. I really did not like the lack of professionalism here with sharing a venue for two weddings. Beautiful, but in my eyes, not worth it. read more

This was the most amazing venue for my wedding. I had absolutely 0 problems throughout my whole experience! Every time I called and emailed I got a response and the workers were always extremely kind and easy to work with. The day of was AMAZING - the 3 girls assigned to help out the whole night were fabulous. Looking for a venue to host a wedding reception. Emailed back and forth multiple times asking whether the date we needed was available. Drove half an hour there just for them to tell us the date we wanted was unavailable despite asking for it in previous emails. Seems unprofessional and wouldn't have been that difficult for them to tell us before we drove that the date was not available. read more

The venue is beautiful we originally booked about a year and a half ago with the director at the time, Judy. She was so kind & professional. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and excited for our big day! If we would've dealt with the current director I would've NEVER booked the venue & spent so much money. She is rude and not personable at all her name is Chelsea. We went to to go look at the venue the day before the wedding so our family can see it. When we went to speak to her she was dismissive and did not greet anyone she made my family feel uncomfortable. It seemed like we were bothering her or weren't good enough. So we went around the venue by ourselves.. when we were outside the Garden room there was pink flowers petals from a wedding before.. It seems like there is a lot of new employees. More than one mentioned to us the day of our wedding that they were new employees, did not now what they were doing, and had received promotions without knowing how to do their job... I can't think anyone would want to hear that after spending thousands on a venue. After the wedding the venue asked us to clean up. Which makes sense, my family stayed behind to take care of that for us since it was our special day. They took down all decorations & my father in law even picked up all rose pedals with his own shopvac machine that sucked everything up. Apparently that was not good enough...We called the venue 2 days after our wedding. She answered the phone call and asked me if I was the bride from Saturday, I responded yes & she told me she was "frustrated with me". Part of the problem that Chelsea had with us was that we did not well enough after a wedding & that is why she was frustrated. She said the her cleaning crew spent HOURS cleaning up after us. Luckily my father in law took a pic after he picked up that I will include in this review. She wanted us to pay a fee for it. I wonder if the wedding that left the rose petals from the wedding were fined as well, or was it just us? My family felt discriminated. As a director and face of a Business you would expect more than that. What Chelsea lacks is professionalism. I have never in my life been treated or spoken to like that. I will not be recommending this place hopefully they can get a director who is professional, personable, & not rude. read more

This venue is BEAUTIFUL!! We loved the Sunset Room, it's already beautifully decorated. We barely put decorations for my wedding, but it was gorgeous because the room itself looks so elegant. The view from the balcony is stunning!! Judy, Haley, and Missy were great and very helpful. They were very patient with us and and answered all of our questions and concerns. They made sure we got everything that we needed. Judy is very informative and gave us a lot of helpful suggestions. Our hostesses Maura and Sage were awesome!! BEAUTIFUL venue. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. My problem is that they told us we'd have the grooms room when we booked then the day of told us it wasn't included for our time because someone booked after our wedding and wanted to put their stuff in there before. So my fiancé and the line had to use the restroom to get ready which was really annoying and not what we were told when booking so I'd say to really confirm the details because it threw a wrench in our morning to not have the space we were told we would so someone else could drop their stuff off early. Oh my goodness, I would not recommend ANYONE above this place! They were SO detail oriented, and they offer packages that save money because they bundle floral, catering, and everything else. This venue is amazing and so affordable. It was elegant and not cheesy. Our families were so impressed. Both rooms have so much space. We used the Sunset Room and it was stunning. We didn't have to add any decor to the room it was perfect the way it came. The staff was incredibly helpful and the coordinator responded to my many emails within minutes every single time!!
