Im not gonna say it's a scam but it was kind of an influencer "trap" I kind of had a feeling this was going to be one when my daughter wanted to go, but we checked it out anyway. Didn't see anyone dancing or any animals but I did see a lot of delicious food. Every pastry we tried was incredible. The croissant cinnamon roll was flaky and soft with incredible flavor. This is a cute store that we wanted to visit while we were in Heber. We bought some milk, strawberry lemonade, chocolate croissant, and the maple cinnamon protein milk. Our favorite was the maple one. Delicious! The croissant was good but not amazing. We also ordered ice cream cones. They put the cones into a cup as they gave them to us (not sure why) and when they were going to hand me mine, they forgot about the cone, so instead of redoing it for me, they just stuck a cone on top of my ice cream! I wasn't happy about that because if I had wanted ice cream in a cup I would have ordered it that way. It's a cute store and lot, but it's pretty expensive. We spent over $100 on just those items. This review is only for their soft serve ice cream. You know when people tell you a protein anything tastes really good & you try it & you say to yourself "they're lying". That's the case here. Such a charming shop!! Like everyone else on the planet, I've been fascinated with the life of Hannah Neeleman and her farm so while in Park City, I made an effort to come to her Ballerina Farmshop in Midway. It is beautifully curated and carries a variety on interesting cookware, cookbooks, humorous candles, flavored salts, baked goods, fresh product, etc. It's a small but thoughtful collection of items many of which would make a lovely gift. There is also a cute patio out front with picnic tables and blankets drying in the wind where you can enjoy bakery items. Definitely recommend! read more

I was so excited to check out Ballerina Farms after seeing it on Instagram and their Midway shop didn't disappoint! All of their frozen goods looked amazing (prosciutto croissants, different sausages, and so much more!) and I loved checking out all their protein powders, seasoning salts, and other shelf-stable goods. There was a steady crowd for lunch/brunch and the takeaway line wrapped around the shop so we didn't grab anything this time. However, I can't wait to come back sometime soon! read more

This little store packs a powerful punch. The interiors are charming, the products are quality and heirloom-esque, and the variety of goodies to order and snack on are wonderful. The best things we tried on the ever-shifting menu were: 1) the focaccia with cultured butter - wow!! The perfect balance of salt and fat and soft and crunch. 2) the soft served ice cream - the best vanilla bean soft serve you'll ever eat. 3) the chocolate croissant - made by a French man who lives in a surrounding area. I requested refund of a product that I spent money on and never got it and all they said was that once they shipped it, its not their problem anymore and that they are not going to refund me . We popped over the day after Christmas, in hindsight we probably shouldn't have gone out today because you could barely move in the store which is probably the case everywhere. It was absolutely slammed. I was super hopeful we could try out the lunch menu. Unfortunately they were completely out of everything lunch related that needed prep except one soup (Chicken Miso). We ordered the chicken miso soup. The flavor was incredible. Although I think they were scraping the bottom of the barrel because a couple soup cups had broth only, haha. The ginger cookie was very hard but had great flavor. The staff were very sweet and helpful given the circumstances. I ended up purchasing the cutest cookie stamps for myself and the protein variety pack for a friend. We love the maple cinnamon protein flavor it's our absolute favorite. An employee shared that he loved the raspberry lemonade electrolyte drink and I think we'll give it a try soon. Overall super cute farmers market vibe mixed with French country. Best chocolate crescent I've had in Utah if not the entire US, and honestly, I do an event in Paris every year for a week and make it my business to find the best they have... this one is better. How much of the store is hype and high pricing because of social media vs quality? The store in itself is very cute. Everything that is sold online can be found here plus some produce and frozen meats. I was hoping for more pork selection to buy before spending $250 on their pork package, but they didn't have any pork products in their freezer which is odd since they started out selling pork. I think the cost of their protein powder is obscene. $67 is crazy. You are better off buying chicken breast and getting protein naturally for cheaper than having to use a supplement to get it your protein in. If you were getting double the amount of protein (50 grams) per scoop so that is why it's double to price of a typical tub of protein then that's understandable, but you're not. There are clean protein powders out there that don't have this astronomical price. I do like their baking flour. I have a place in Park City, so yes, I will drive 15 minutes to their store to purchase a $50 bag of flour, but I won't go out of my way for it. I asked the check out gal if they used bromate in the flour and she had no clue what I was talking about so that doesn't help either I would hope that they don't since it is suppose to be "small batch milling". Is it worth the hype, no. Do I hope that the flour is bromate free and free of other preservatives big production flour companies use, yes I would hope so. As a Utah resident, I will continue to shop here and support local. I hope to try some pork chops soon! read more

Stopped on our way past Heber. It was noon on a Saturday and completely packed. The line took up the entire store. The soft serve was delicious and salty. Other than that, the cookies and zucchini and blackberry cakes were not very flavorful. I think if any of the three were warm it would have been a lot better. The oatmeal chocolate chip cookie was basically cookie brittle. The pastries were all beautiful though! I have ordered from them for years and their food is delicious. However, I recently ordered 5 Christmas boxes for our Bible study. Their website says that if ordered by a Monday or Tuesday, it will be shipped out the same week. I planned this all beforehand. Not only are they not going out the same week, but maybe not the following week either. If it's going to take longer because of the holiday, which is understandable, please let the customers know so they can plan ahead! I requested the name of the company that does the testing on their protein powders and also, the average amount of lead found, if any. They will not divulge the name of the testing company or the results. I believe that if a company doesn't have anything to hide then they would give the consumers that information.
