Fried Rice with all the toppings, my fav

So, I did a bad job with the pics this time around. I couldn't help it. I had to grub on the amazing food and drink some great beers. Such an awesome spot. Patio is great for summer dining!

Food Quality: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Value: 5/5 Don't skip on: 3 Cup Chicken, Dan Dan Noodles First time trying out DK at their restaurant and was a fantastic experience! The last time I had their food was when they were still working out of their commissary, so I'm glad to see they've upgraded and their menu has expanded! We tried a few dishes including the pan fried buns, mapo tofu, 3 cup chicken, and Dan Dan noodles. Everything was delicious! My *only* complaint is that you had to pay for extra rice. It costs so little, so I'm sad to see that you can't ask for more without an additional fee. The rice that comes with the dishes is about a cup worth and not quite enough to go with the entree (sauce/meat ratio to rice was off). Other than that, we had a great time. The staff were very welcoming and our server, Izzy was great with recommendations and was also very patient with it being our first time at the restaurant. He recommended "seasoning" a simple Coke and ginger beer and WOW, it really elevated the drinks! Loved having him at our table and creating a wonderful experience. The restaurant was well-kept and I would definitely recommend and can't wait to come back.

Finally tried this place out after seeing them all over social media. We went hoping to get Duck Fried Rice, only to discover it was a seasonal item no longer available. We opted for the Mongolian Beef and Sticky Ribs. For the good - the cocktail and beers = excellent. The sticky ribs were out of this world delicious! Do not skip them! Mongolian beef though.... Was super disappointing. The beef was so chewy and tough it wasn't even worth finishing. Hopefully we will be back to try other menu items!

I was heading south from the airport and was ravenous and thankfully found this spot right off the highway. Amazing meal! Huge portions and delicious at the same time. I will definitely be coming back. Well done folks.

Located inside of Grid City Beer Works. It's one of the best things the brewery could've done for itself as the food being made before Drunken Kitchen was incorporated into the brewery was not very good. I tried 3 items. Pork Pot Stickers, Taiwanese Fried Chicken, and Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup. The pot stickers were a good size and stuffed generously. I enjoyed them. The fried chicken was my favorite out of the three. Incredibly moist, out of this world crispy skin, and the sauce kicked it up a notch on the spicy heat scale. The beef noodle soup was delicious although the broth was very rich. Definitely can tell it's been braised for a long time. I was not able to finish it because of how rich it was. Which is not a bad thing. I did finish it off the next day for leftovers. Wouldn't mind returning to try other dishes. It is a little pricey for those who are on a budget. Just an FYI.

Found Drunken Kitchen on Instagram, and what brought me here was the Taiwanese fired chicken. Popcorn chicken flavors on a sandwich? Sign me up. Drunken kitchen is a pop up inside the brewery. Not sure if the owners of both are the same, but they run parallel with each other in the space. Food overall was great. Huge portion size so keep that in mind when ordering. All the food sound and are delicious, but you may be having a lot of left overs since they give you so much food. Braised beef noodle soup was comforting on a cold day. Beef was so tender, and the pickled veggies was a nice add into the soup. Takwense fried chicken was great. Massive sandwich with a ton of fries to come with it. I liked the sandwich but I think the avocado aioli wasn't needed. It kind of overshadowed the spices of the chicken. Drinks are really affordable here. You can get a 12 oz beer for $4 or a flight for $8 (with peanuts). Fun time here at Drunken Kitchen. It was a very memorable restaurant during my visit to Salt Lake.

I've been curious about this spot since I drive by it every day on my way to and from work. It was a little underwhelming for my expectations. The prices were higher than expected, however they deliver on quantity. The flavors contained a lot of ginger for the four appetizers we ordered. Every dish was very hot except for the sticky ribs, which even had spots in the middle that were just barely warm. The sauces on the bao buns and fried chicken didn't hit like we thought they would but added an interesting complexity. In the end, there was no doubt we were both full leaving Drunken Kitchen. It was also cool to see the waitstaff dressed up for Halloween, it added a nice touch!

Such a cute spot! You do need to show ID to be seated but a really fun vibe, large space, cool decor and absolute knockout fried chicken. Will definitely be back!!

I'd been craving noodles, so I was super excited when my friend suggested we try this place. The rooftop is gorgeous with AMAZING mountain views. It is a bar, so everyone has to be 21+ and have their id to be scanned. They have coverings for shade, and we were lucky to be there on a gorgeous day. My friend and I both got Diet Cokes, and they were both entirely flat and un drinkable. My husband liked the beer he got. We started with the potstickers. They were good, but I wanted them to wow me a little more. For my entree, I got the pork buns, and the were incred. The bun itself was incredibly soft and delicious. The meat in these was juicy and had a little kick to it. My husband got the beef noodle soup. This was my favorite thing I ate. The noodles are amazing and totally satisfied my noodle craving. The meat was also very tender, and the flavor of the broth was great. My friends got the veggie Dan Dan noodle and the three-cup chicken. I tried the Dan Dan noodle and thought the flavor was interesting. The noodles themselves were perfect. The chicken was work to eat but tasted pretty good. It is on the pricier side, but the portions are big. Services was okay. We had to ask for plates, utensils, and napkins. Chill vibes. I'd go back. I think it would be especially good in the winter as a cozy, comfort food.

I really wanted to like this place given the reviews I've read & the social media posts. Maybe it was just a bad night. Either way, I was really disappointed. It was my birthday dinner that my besties brought me out & we wanted to try something new. Place wasn't too packed but it was up & bumping as a bar should be. Really cute bar/restaurant shindig. Hostess got us to our table quickly & Izzy got us started not too long after that. Immediately, we were already told the fried chicken appetizer was sold out. Which was one of the things we really wanted to try. Bummer! No problem. We got half order of oysters, calamari, & sticky ribs apps to start. Oysters came out first, nothing exciting. Calamari came out later & it was fried to perfection with a little bit of a kick. Awhile later, another waitress comes to tell us that they are now sold out of sticky ribs. Disappointing given that the table next to us just got 2 orders of that. We then ordered pot stickers - which took much longer. In the process one of my besties gets her entree - DanDan Noodles. Then another 15-20 mins I get my Pork Belly entree. Minutes later, same waitress comes back to inform my other bestie that she regrets to inform her but they no longer have the Eggplant Katsu because it was either forgotten, burned, or sold out. Mind you, we didn't get the pot stickers but we just let them know to cancel it because we didn't want to stay any longer than we have been. This sweet waitress did her best to accommodate us by comping some apps & drinks & half off of the entrees we did receive. We were grateful.

I don't get the hype. Despite the good service, the food is uninspiring. Their potstickers, for example, have been voted as the best in Salt Lake City, yet they proved to be mediocre at best. This is what we ordered: Pork Pot Stickers (D-): No flavor, somewhat soggy Vegetarian Pot Stickers (D-): No flavor, somewhat soggy Sticky Ribs (D): Stringy and chewy, way too lean, flavor was off Dan Dan Noodle (A-): Our favorite dish, quite good Gluten-Free Dan Dan Noodle (B+): Good flavor Taiwanese Braised Pork Belly Bowl (D): Little pork belly bits that disappoint Mapo Tofu (C-): Mediocre. Even PF Chang's version is vastly superior Fried Rice (D+): Not flavorful at all Egg Plant Katsu (C+): Creative concept, but nothing special So only their Dan Dan Noodles past muster. We will not be returning to the Drunken Kitchen.

They allow dogs on the patio on the weekends with proof of rabies vax.

3rd time was the charmed experience for us. We tried them when they first started at a different location and was not impressed with the dry pork belly. Then tried to try them last week but was sent away because our puppy lost his rabies tag. We brought proof of his vax this time. We got to enjoy the outdoors views, great food and service. Zoe took such great care of us and our dog. Bringing him a water dish and doting on in him. We recommend the pot stickers, fried chicken, friend rice and Dan Dan noodles.

"Don't worry honey, it's okay to look, and also throw money at the half-naked women! I promise you won't get in trouble!" Uh-huh. ;) Alright, I digress. Awkwardness aside, Prohibition is a really great place to enjoy a classy dinner, where the meat is served on a place AND on stage, and the cheesecake comes with the price of admission! Speaking of admission, as my wife and I were guests, being shepherded along by our friend, I cannot recall exactly what the "cover charge" was (not much, if I remember correctly...less than $20 for two?), and if reservations are *required*, I cannot say for certain, but I would say they are *recommended* at the very least, because our showtime was packed. Anyway, once paid, you are escorted through a secret bookcase door (SLC residents sure do love their speakeasies, don't they?), and into the dining hall and saloon, where you're soon to have your socks knocked off...well, someone's clothes are coming off, anyway! We were given a table that I dismissively thought was tucked away pretty far in the back and out of the way, but it ended up being one of the best seats in the house, as the table where the performers gathered, prepped, and returned to was just adjacent to us, so we were about as up close and personal as you can get, without getting yourselves arrested. Each of the dancers brought their own style, flair, and wardrobe to their performances, which were spirited and energetic, and a touch racy, without devolving into outright debauchery. It may be an (18+? 21+?) venue, but alcohol restrictions aside, I wouldn't hesitate to take older, more mature teens to a show with similar content. We ordered a smattering of smaller dishes, as we weren't particularly hungry, but the Mishima Wagyu tacos were fantastic (as you would expect), as was the Fedora Fin (Za'atar-crusted ahi tuna), and all of our cocktails. As the show is timed event with multiple performances per night, both food and bev are fired out of the kitchen/bar faster than the bullets from a Tommy Gun, but with far better accuracy. The whole operation here was honestly very impressive, from start to finish. Coming from a progressive city like Portland, it's always struck me a little odd that places that, by reputation, strike you as more conservative end up having some of the best, most wild entertainment venues, that you only wish you had back home. Prohibition is one of these places that I would rather see in my downtown, instead of the litany of seedy strip joints pushing for maximum titilation, but with only a fraction of the class and sophistication. Prohibition is good, clean fun, masquerading as something illicit, which is the heart of what makes it work so well.
