Provided me a one-line Quote for $8500 for a basic residential pavers strip and sealing job. When I expressed surprise at the high price and requested an itemized quote (with Labor and Materials costs listed as line items), they refused to provide one. Seems suspect to me and made me wonder if they did not provide one because they could not justify that pricing? I mean really -- the actual cost to INSTALL all of the pavers in 2022 was around $12000 (a different company). So how can the cost to strip and seal them be $8000? It's a fair question. read more

I was contemplating replacing a walkway when I ran across an ad for SLG. I had an aging, cracking, and otherwise ugly entry. Rather than replace it, I decided to give the SLG coating system a try. Their employees were pleasant and professional throughout the entire process--estimate to completion. I later experienced a problem with the coating (caused by a preexisting concrete issue and a water leak). SLG promptly responded and fixed the problem. I was originally contacted by Bryan, who seemed to be very professional and personable. I scheduled an appointment to get an estimate and check out their samples. Once the appointment day came, I was contacted by Frank who was nice at first and attempted to change the appointment time or date. I was honest with Frank regarding my intentions and the fact that I wanted to go through and pick a company for the project. I told Frank that I couldn't make another date work. Frank became rude, ignored me, and then canceled the appointment all together right before the scheduled time (30 minutes prior to appointment). They have a great product at a fair price and from start to finish they are so easy to work with. My garage floor was horrid with deep wall to wall cracks and pitting. I had contacted 2 other companies for this service. They both told me the cracks were too significant and I needed new concrete. SLG reviewed the garage floor and accepted the job. They ground down the cracks and filled them and the pitting. Once covered with the beautiful coating, there is only the slightest indication at a certain angle (and only if you're looking), that the cracks were ever present. My new garage floor looks amazing! Was very excited to use this company for new floors in our business. I contacted them talk for about 30 min about what we were looking for. Schedule our estimate and then waited not only was the appraiser late but he came in with absolutely the worst attitude. I informed him that we new we had to have a contractor come in and tear out the carpet and vinyl flooring we had down. But he went of about u know you have to move this stuff out I'm not doing it. (As to the tables ) yes we have replaced our floors many times in 35 years. Then he kept telling me I wasn't honest with who I spoke with on the phone. Telling me he had to make some calls telling me he knew it was going to be problems when he ripped the carpet up ( wait you just told me I had to have a contract do it) so pretty much our job was to big for him and he was a rude pompous ass from the beginning and I will never recommend this company to anyone. Sad because we were really excited by the product and 2 other business in town we're waiting to see how our turned out before scheduling them there self along with a gentleman who builds spec houses that wanted to use them . Guess they don't need business or they wouldn't have that jerk working for them - to bad I can't give that guy a negative 5 read more

We had SLG concrete do our entire patio in the backyard after they told us it was "Pet Friendly". The lady that came out for the consultation said dog urine sprays right off. Well, unless you are watching your dogs urinate every single time to hose it down the drain, it stains horribly. We asked to come out a evaluate the yellow stains and they did attempt to clean it with no success. I asked for some sort of compensation since we paid over 7k for this a year ago and their response was by email saying that we don't clean up after our pets so they couldn't compensate for anything. My husband and I both have jobs and can't stand and watch our dogs take a pee and hose it immediately after. They need to quit selling this product as pet friendly.
