Great dining room and outdoor patio bring back the cool pizza parlor vibe. We had a large group and they were able to accommodate us on a Saturday night. For such a large place, ordering at the counter seems counter (pun intended) intuitive. There should be table service. It is awkward being asked for a tip when service is limited. Get your own drinks, spices, and utensils but drop a big tip for the privilege. The food was slow to come out, but when it finally did, it was tasty, hot and fresh. I like this pizza spot! The food here is delicious and the service is excellent. We were looking for a place with drinks and food and thought this was the perfect spot to hang out and unwind. As soon as you walk in there are arcade games which I thought was cool. As for ordering, it's more casual so you have to place your order at the front before sitting down. This makes it a little difficult if you are trying to split the bill with someone, have a large party, or if it's crowded and you have people waiting behind you. But Alena was super helpful and made this an easy process for us. She walked us through the menu, answered all our questions, and was able to split the bill on our food 4-ways. Then we each paid for our drinks separately. You can keep the tab open if you think you will be ordering more drinks. For pizza you can order a whole pizza for your table or pizza by the slice and pay for toppings. For the whole pizza they let you split as well if you decide you want two different specialty flavors on each half. They also have wings, subs, and other entrees which was nice. If you get 10 wings they let you split the flavors or you can mix the flavors together which was nice (ex. Hot lemon pepper). This time we decided to just split the wings separately by flavor so 5 lemon pepper and 5 hot. We decided to sit outside because the weather was so nice! Alena cleaned the table for us and checked on us regularly to see if we needed anything or more drinks which we all really appreciated! All of my friends enjoyed their drinks. I believe they ordered an Italian margarita, some type of berry drink, and a martini. We got garlic knots, hot chicken wings, and lemon pepper chicken wings. The wings were delicious. The hot wasn't that spicy but still tasty. Their lemon pepper is great - I definitely recommend that one. The skin is perfectly crispy. I noticed some of the lemon pepper wings had some feathers/hair on it though - I don't really mind these things as I've traveled internationally and there are much worse things to encounter lol, but if you are the type to find this off-putting then just keep that in mind. The blue cheese and ranch are both great - usually I'm a blue cheese kind of girl but I actually really liked their ranch here. Garlic knots were okay in my opinion. I wish they were more seasoned or garlicky. As for pizza we ordered an 18 inch pizza - half white and half southern chicken. The southern chicken comes with fried jalapeños and has bbq sauce. The fried jalapeños were AWESOME. Perfectly crispy and crunchy. It gives a nice texture to the pizza! My friends also enjoyed the white pizza. The pizza is New-York style so we really enjoyed the texture and thinness of the crust/pizza. There were four of us and there were leftovers to take home. Service was excellent. So, we ordered delivery through DD or GH, I can't remember. Anyway, I was shocked! Nearly everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. We were very impressed! The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because the curly fries that came with the chicken bacon ranch sandwich were absolutely inedible. And Lord knows we tried because like I said, they were hot and fresh curly fries . The problem was that the salt/fry seasoning they used was so over whelming. It was almost like someone salted them right out of the fryer, then someone else, who didn't know they had already been seasoned, poured another seasoning mixture on them that also contained salt, making them inedible. My husband actually had to spit them out upon tasting them. If I could give 4.5 stars I would, and definitely 5 stars if there fries were edible. Will absolutely try again! read more

Heard they opened a Sliced in our area and got excited! Came with the family tonight and got some Fried mozzarella slices, a house salad with balsamic vinaigrette, and a 14" pizza with pepperoni and bacon. Everything tasted great and the server was very helpful. You order and pay up front at the check in desk on your way in, so you will need to either add your tip on the bill then or have cash on you to leave a tip after your meal. They have a large outside seating area too - it used to be a bank drive through. They have 4-6 tables out there for seating during COVID, and they do have seats available inside. Great place! Terrible. Kim is a slow bartender and is incapable of handling seven patrons. I was able to go to Publix, get a sandwich and eat it at the bar before Kim took our parties order! Kim didn't even know 1 of her 7 customers at the bar was eating outside food! It took us two hours to get a sandwich, three pizzas, wings and a few beers. Also, the kitchen seems incapable of pacing food. The sandwich came out first and 15 minutes later two pizzas came out, 10 mins later another pizza came out, and 20 mins after that the wings came out. By the time the person with the wings got their food we were boxing up our leftover to leave! Food is awful and service is worse. Just go get a Publix sandwich. read more

So this place just opened up, not sure exactly what day, but recently, also I'm pretty sure this is a second location from the one in Gainesville. Since it's a first visit, went with the basics and ordered two pies to go, a 14" Cheese and a 14" Pepperoni. Service was great, everyone was friendly and the food was out in a timely fashion. The pepperoni pie was good but could have used a few more pieces, the sauce was flavorful and the cheese was good. The real kicker is the crust though, thin crispy goodness with a great chew and taste. The cheese pie may have actually been better, it was certainly more cheesy, but just had a better taste to it and that same wonderful crust. All in all, definitely worth a try and can't wait to get a salad and one of the specialty slices, I'm thinking the Pesto Veggie with a Caesar salad is on the menu for the next visit. This location supposedly has a bar, but I didn't look to see what was on tap, etc as it was a to-go order, but that's something to check out in the future. Also worth noting, and yes it's new, but the place is clean and welcoming though parking may be a challenge if there are more than a few cars. Pics to come. read more

The pizza is average at best. Calzones are good. The Salads are why I go there. Huge salad for $5 add chicken for $2-$3. The dining room isn't very clean. Tables and booths/benches were sticky. The whole place smelled like they had a sewer issue. I couldn't eat in there. We sat outside. We waited a solid 45 minutes for our food. It was kind of busy. They kept saying it's coming right up. Went back a month later and the place still stunk. Got my salad to go and won't go back in there. Also the girl at the cash register had absolutely zero interest in being there. Calzone was delic after the cheese was melted properly. Merlot was bitter - yall need a new brand honestly. Terrapin Hazy was new to me and I really liked it - had 2. I really like the set up - great area for kids to leave the table and have some fun w/the games available. I am a reg at the Hoschton Sliced and occasional at Commerce Sliced - have not been to the Gainesville Sliced yet but look forward to it. Food is usually great, however a few of their employees have kept us from coming back. One time we came in and everything was dirty and the soda was all out the staff member said , "yeah they were supposed to clean up the shift before and they didn't", so obviously they just didn't bother cause every table had crumbs and was gross. Went there on a date, menu was kinda hard to see, it looked like it was written by a 5th grader. We ordered the Ol' Clifford, the expectations were very low. The crust was so thin my date asked if I ordered thin crust. Her topping fell of like no ones business. It was messy. I had two slices. After there was a DJ kept skipping song but later we found out he was playing bingo with the patrons. So it was clear why he was skipping songs. I felt like I was in a real southern 1960's era I looked everywhere and we were the only Hispanic customer. Felt very uncomfortable. But over all I was ok. We forgot part of your order, put a topping on the wrong calzone, your 10-15 minute pickup order turns into 30 minutes for the first item which will get cold because we're going to make you hold it for 20 minutes until the other item is done. I tried to be patient and just wait. I almost asked for a refund & left but then I thought it would probably take just as long to get food somewhere else. We loved the atmosphere and couldn't wait to get what we thought would be equally great food. We got our pizza and it was very doughy, and the tops of both were very greasy.
