I took my 12 and 11 year old with a bunch of other kids ranging from 8 to 17 and they all had a blast! If your child is nervous about heights be mindful it could be intimidating. My 12 year old started on the easier slides first and then got over her uneasiness. The food provided at the concession stand was decent, we all ate something. The space is conducive to sitting and getting work done or just hanging out with other parents to talk. I enjoyed the playlist on the speakers, suitable for kids and adults alike. After about 45 to an hr my kids were slowing down but we ended to staying about 2.5 hrs between eating, playing basketball and sliding. read more

We came here for a birthday party and tried to check in after we filled out our waiver. We were told we had to check in at the party desk so we all waited there. The front desk continued to check people in but no one was sent to staff the party desk. We wasted the first part of the party waiting to be checked in. Finally someone working in security stopped by the desk and we asked her to please find us someone to check us in. Once we got started the kids had a really fun time with the slides. I left this place absolutely OUTRAGED! My 229 month old baby boy almost DIED on those swings. He jumped like he was told to, but to the chagrin of onlookers, completely face planted onto the floor--off the mat! My life flashed before my eyes, but I almost didn't register the horror due to the throbbing pain in my shoulder from being absolutely THRASHED around. I love going places where my kids are wiped by the end. And this is one of them. 10 slides and basketball courts. We were definitely not bored during our two hour trip. We were visiting from out of town and this ad popped up on my Facebook feed look like a really fun place to visit a different options than the trampoline place that we used to back home. I was excited to take my two kids 10 and 14 years because I thought they would have a lot of fun. My daughter, the older one after doing two activities decided she was bored and no longer wanted to participate, but I don't think that has to do anything with the park. It was more something happen. She got upset and had a bad attitude, ha ha ha ha teenagers. I decided to then participate with my son. We had purchased the two hour wristbands and I would say the 90 minutes is plenty of time to experience the park. There are a variety of slides and activities however, for that duration of time it feels like you run out of things to do for the kids they have no problem going up and down those stairs that you have to climb to get to the slides, however, for the adults, I will warn it's quite a good workout. When we arrived. It was super packed, a lot of birthday parties going on and just a lot of people in general. I'm not sure if it's because the weather was cooler outside and people wanted to do something inside, but it could've also been because it was a Saturday. When you check in, you have to make sure to fill out a waiver before you can go and pay and purchase your tickets, that's a little bit of a hassle, but if you go online and handle it before you arrive that will expedite the process. Also at the check-in counter they will upsell you for slushy's. I went ahead and opted for this because I know my kids enjoy them. When I went to go redeem them, It was a bit of a wait in line at the snack place. They seemed a little short staffed. Overall there were employees around, the majority of them being teenagers and I think it was a little bit too lax on the supervision. Not sure if they truly grasp the importance of safety and definitely there aren't employees stationed at every slide. I was kind of glad that I was going around with my son because if you have some unruly children, cutting lines and pushing people down the slides, there aren't always employees around to put them in check. Overall it was a fun experience to try once we don't have anything like this back home but I'm not sure that I would go again. It's a more of a one and done experience for us. read more

My son had a blast at this place! The slides were fun and there were a lot to chose from. They even had a basketball court which was very appealing to my aspiring basketball player! We went on a day where school was out and took a friend. We bought our tickets online and thought because of this we would be guaranteed to get in at our 11:45am time. We got to Slick City and they told us we couldn't get in for another hour and a half because they were at capacity. I was one unhappy mama...and asked to speak with the manager. I told her how this won't work for two 7 year olds who already had wait until the time we came to get in.... She rectified the situation and let us in. Other than that mishap which could have went terribly wrong....it was a very fun spot for kids!!!! I do think the price is outrageous! I spent about $75 for two kids and a pair of socks.... Your kids will love it though!!!! read more

My grandson had a birthday party here and this is a kids playground literally. So many kids , so much noise and so much chaos. Idk if that is a good thing or bad thing lol Staff was present, host was helpful. And slide areas was maintained accordingly. Food was delicious. We got pepperoni and sausage pizza. Icees, sodas, waffle fries, chicken tenders. Service was very slow. That is the only big complaint. It was enough staff to move this line expeditiously but it moved like a snail. I visited Slick City recently. The slides were great, but the overall experience was frustrating due to poor staff training and disorganization. The employees at the registers clearly lacked proper training on the POS system -- they struggled with basic functions like pulling up registrations and processing orders. I ordered food before realizing my session time was ending, but the food was never made, and I never received the water I paid for. When I asked for a refund, I was told the food was already prepared -- which made no sense since I was leaving. I was then shorted on my refund because I was accused of receiving the waters that I never got. To make matters worse, staff couldn't even provide me with a receipt. I'm still waiting for my refund of over $20. If it's not resolved in a timely manner, I'll have to escalate this beyond a simple refund request. Overall, the staff at Slick City need serious improvement in customer service, communication, and POS training. read more

So last weekend I had my sons birthday party at slick city. Everyone had a blast. However they are majorly understaffed and uneducated on their own policies. No employees were enforcing the rules. I think the price you pay for a party is way high, especially when they don't give you all that you pay for. The real problem occurred as I was leaving. There had been a couple arguing and fighting inside the venue all evening, the female was even see to be cussing out employees. Nothing was done, nobody was removed. As I was leaving, the couple then came outside still fighting. When I told them that "this isn't the place" they ran up on me. I was hit, thrown to the ground, and kided in the face...repeatedly. My children saw me in a pool of blood and thought I was dead. This happened within a few feet of the door, as I was parked in the very first spot. I am still waiting to hear from a manager. Nobody ever answers the phone so I reached out via fb messages and was told someone would call in the next day. This business does NOT care about its customers one bit. How hard is it to pick up a phone and apologize for your negligence?? I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. read more

A complete zoo. Stopped in with my children on a Sunday afternoon and the place was completely overrun. We had purchased our tickets online and completed safety waivers prior to our arrival. Check in moved quickly. I had purchased a ticket for myself to play with my children. There are not enough lockers to accommodate all but a small number of guests. I had nowhere to secure my belongings and had to find a place to sit instead of enjoying the experience. The main seating area is absolutely filthy. Trash and food all over the floor. Tables turned over between guests and during our 2 hour visit, not a single table was cleaned or sanitized. Participants are asked to use a neoprene mat on the attractions. I'm interested to know if these mats are cleaned or sanitized and if so the frequency. The mats are just thrown into large bins after use. Participants drag the mats all over the (filthy) floor and some are just left in the middle of the floor to be trampled by spectators in their street shoes. The biggest concern lack of respect for general safety. There was only one attraction that had an attendant the entire time we were there. There were several times the large grey slide had children climbing up once they had slid down impeding other children from coming down and putting everyone's safety at risk. I went to find a responsible adult. The majority of employees are high school students. I did speak to one adult employee but my concerns went unaddressed. I took it upon myself to ask kids not to climb up the slide or move off the platform once they came down. I am rarely one to hand out a poor review. I find redeeming qualities in almost any business. But lack of regard for general hygiene and sanitary measures. Followed by lack of regard for general safety, lack of attendants supervision, and disregard for my complaint of an unsafe situation results in a low review for this business. read more

I do not normally write this type of review. However my daughter is obsessed with slick city. We planned a birthday party and of course weather is horrible today. I would expect nothing less from a corporate business but to make cancellations or have a policy in place to notify 24 hours in advance of closure for those who have birthday parties planned. We were told that if they remained open, and we decided weather was too severe, we would still be charged for a birthday party of at least 10 children. However if they cancelled, we could get a gift card or reschedule. St. Louis weather is crazy and we were traveling to the location for the party IN addition to multiple party attendees when we received a call ONLY 45 mins prior to party time to inform us they were closing. Absolutely unacceptable. We had been proactive starting Thursday to see the plan for today Monday and still did not receive a response until 45 mins before the party was to start. We unfortunately will not recommend this location for birthday parties for anyone in the future. We hope they can develop a solid policy that ensures coworker and patron safety and adequate notice for all who have made deposits, 45 min notice is unacceptable. read more

I just found out about this place yesterday via Facebook and saw they were having an adults night tonight. I brought my bff & my bf and we all had a good time. We tried all the slides and the bouncy basketball court and were tired by 50 min in. I just wish I knew that they had anti-friction mats for all the slides so that I didn't feel like I had to wear long pants. Shorts are fine! Apparently this place isn't fully finished since there were bings that said "coming soon" and a fork lift in the back. Favorite slides were the launch and the white racer. Took my 8 year old daughter and her 9 year old friend year since they were off from school. Just like the last two reviews this place is absolute CHAOS! There aren't staffs at every slide, the place is gross and not maintained, still small section with lockers and few cubbies. There were shoes, socks and trash as the girls were trying to sit down and get their socks on. Also no one at the door told us where to find mats. Eventually I found a mat in one bin. Most were empty bc the place was sooo packed! Eventually into the evening it started to clear out and it wasn't as bad. But kids there were pushy, not waiting their turns, cutting in front of others which made it extremely unpleasant to be there as a sober parent! The only way I will go back is if I've had few cocktails and find a day or time where it's not a mad house. Urban Air and Sky Zone def does a better job than this place. This was fun! Slick City opened last week and has become a family favorite with our older son. Unlike other places the main attractions, the slides, are for five and older only. I can see why. They're large, noisy and look intimidating to any sober adult! This is also probably why they don't sell any alcohol at the location. There are 9 different big fun slides to slide down plus a zip line, swing, trapeze, play area for small children and several basketball courts. My 4yo son & his cousins all love coming here to run wild! They have the normal concession food for the normal rate. This is a place for adults to have fun & interact with their children. This "dry waterpark" was an amazing way to enjoy ourselves indoors! The staff was super friendly & knowledgable. The slides varied from pretty slow to OMG! We were laughing and smiling the entire time! Our ages ranged from 6 to 45 and we all had a blast. It was sold out, but the wait times for slides wasn't "too" bad. The mats are nice and light even our 6yo carried her own mat the entire time. I've heard it's crazy loud, but the music wasn't that loud - at least in the slide area it wasn't. One pro tip for the launcher slide - be sure to roll as soon as you land so you don't whiplash your head forward. Our 9yo was fine with the low launcher, but the 6yo didn't try either and I'm kind of glad. I hit my head and might regret my life choices for the next few days. This place is so much fun!!!! My whole family ranging from toddlers to my 80 year old Dad. There is so much to do here. It truly is fun for all ages! We tried out every slide multiple times. They were so much fun! There is a great play area for younger children. Then there is basketball, dodgeball, volleyball, zip line, and more. Our large family was able to dine at the party area and there was plenty of room for all of us. They serve a fun variety of foods and snacks as well. If you don't want to play, you can sit in one of their massage chairs and get a massage. There are a few games and a Photo Booth! Wasn't too busy although we went during the week. Unfortunately the zip line was closed down and one of my children's favorite slides was closed. The place seemed short staffed and very disorganized. What really bothers me is the required use of Slick City socks. We have multiple non slick socks from several trampoline parks and they were not allowed only because they didn't say Slick City on them. This is, essentially, an upcharge on the admission making it more expensive than is advertised. We have been to many similar places like Slick City and outside nonslip socks have always been allowed. read more

What a fun new concept! Our family visited over the holiday break and there were many activities for all of us. We tried all the slides and have our favorites: long jump (you get some air), mega launch (flying high), race slide (we're a competitive bunch), and the scoop (my all-time fav...smooth sailing). Definitely some thrill involved! Our big kids played a dodgeball game on the air court & then a game of basketball against another group of teens! Plenty of comfortable seating around the park! Clean & cool graphics on the walls! The younger "play zone" was busy with littles having a great time! Fun to watch! You are totally screwed on any drinks when your kids are sweating and exhausted and can't get a drink. That was incredibly frustrating and disappointing to say the most part.
