One of my son 's friends had a birthday party at Slick City Action Park on a Tuesday evening, and it was a lot of fun! I really loved that even adults can join in--sliding, jumping, and just having a good time right along with the kids. Because it was a Tuesday night, it wasn't crowded at all, which made the experience even better. There was plenty of space for the kids to run around and enjoy themselves without feeling overwhelmed. The party itself was great. There were lots of kids, pizza provided by the venue, and a variety of treats like cake pops and other sweets that were made by the birthday girl's mom--everything was nicely done and enjoyable. The pizza was actually good, which is always a plus at kids' parties. The staff was pretty decent--nice and friendly--and the restrooms were clean. My only small complaint is that the restrooms didn't have paper towels, only hand dryers, which I personally don't love. Other than that, everything was good. The boys went home full, happy, and satisfied. All in all, it was a great way to spend a Tuesday night, and I'd definitely recommend Slick City Action Park for a kids' party or just some active family fun. read more

Please get your tickets online ahead of time. I made the mistake of not doing that and waited in line for almost 30 to 40 minutes before I was able to enjoy the rest of my evening. That was my fault because I thought it was adult night since the times were 830 to 1030 neon night. To my surprise, I walked into the venue to see many children and adults . They do have adult nights, but it wasn't the day that I went. Pro - I really enjoyed riding down on the slides and surprisingly it wasn't a long wait time, despite the large number of people in the venue. A by the end of the night I definitely got my 10K steps. Con - I hate that we had to pay full price for entry despite waiting in line for almost 40 minutes. The second con is enforcing the policy to where their specific socks versus any grip socks. Overall, it was a very great time! They do have other activities available: basketball, dodgeball zip lines. I didn't really participate in those areas except the mini zipline , but it's nice to know that they have other options available for people other than slides. read more

We came in with some friends and my kids were wearing indoor park socks, but I was told I had to buy their socks $5 on top of the minimum $26 for the 90 min prices. Super expensive! Me and the other mom were at the counter at the same time, but when we went to sit down I noticed the kids had different color wrist bands than their friends. I asked the girl at the counter and was told it was 1 minute apart, and therefore we would have to leave 15 minutes earlier than them!! Crazy I bought a hot dog and chicken finger basket and 4 waters for the kids. It was over $60 The food was horrible, the chicken tenders were burnt and the hot dog was stale. They let selective parents wear their shoes, help their kids carry mats upstairs and help their kids slide down, they don't let everyone do this. If when checking in they had told me I need a bracelet to help my kid up the stairs, I would've purchased one, but because it's selective who they let up you have no indication that you need one. The stairs are steep, your kid is carrying a big mat that they can trip off of up, it doesn't make sense that they don't have the mats up there to begin with. Parents should always be allowed to help their kids, the people they have by the slides don't help anyone. They just stand there. Unless your kids are 10 and up, I don't recommend this place. read more

At my big age I never imagined an indoor slide park would be on my todo list. This experience was so much fun. While the staff was great, they did lose a star because the restrooms were not clean. There are lockers for your belongings and the price was good . read more

Why 5 stars? Because of all the indoor play places we've been to, I think this is #1. --- --- --- I've taken my son to indoor playgrounds probably around 100 times at this point. He loves them, but as he gets older, he tends to play for about an hour and then gets bored. At Slick City, the only reason we left after about 90 minutes is because he was so tired from going so hard. I was too! I had been monitoring the reviews for the other Slick City location and didn't have high hopes. I watched the negative reviews pouring in, and had developed a picture in my mind of what I thought it would be here: dirty, poorly run, chaotic, dangerous, etc. Instead, I was really blown away with how great everything was. It was none of those things. Instead it was: -Very clean -Fun for kids and parents -Very nicely laid out -Plenty of people were here, but it didn't feel overly crowded There are about 10 big slides and most of them all go straight down and are really fast. But I never felt like my 6 year old was in harms way. It's a massive space - I imagine a Walmart could fit in here. There are the slides, there's an indoor playground, there's a little mini zip line type thing, there are trampoline basketball courts, a dodgeball court and a small arcade. As for the slides: you climb up the stairs for the slides and it's a mix of employees telling you that you can go, with sometimes you just being on your own to see when the person ahead of you is out of the way. They are a little intimidating when you first arrive because they are basically going straight down, but they are perfectly in the sweet spot: a thrill, but not terrifying. I really enjoyed my experience here, but I will say that as a 40 year old, my back is currently quite sore after a day of sliding. I'm not sure why, but maybe just the tensing up 30ish times got to me. Or maybe I'm just old. Either way, we will definitely be back! read more

We Tried Slick City Houston: Slides, Screams & Surprise Whiplash--Here's What You Need to Know It started as a casual TikTok-inspired outing... but turned into a full-body thrill ride that left my knees bruised and my soul refreshed. Why I went: I was in Houston with friends, and the TikTok algorithm that clearly knows I like danger. Slick City Slide Park came highly recommended by my FYP and a rogue YouTube rabbit hole--so naturally, I dragged a friend and a stranger (who's now part of the squad) out to the middle of suburban Houston. Because that's where it is. Yes, the middle of nowhere. But yes, it was worth it. Here's where things got interesting: The building looks like a Best Buy that sells joy. Giant slides, swings, jumpy floors, and a suspiciously inviting bouncy pyramid you can't actually bounce on (don't ask, just know). You pay for time--not per ride--and we got 90 minutes for about $30 a head, plus $5 slide-specific grip socks (required souvenir socks, if you will). I expected a few tame hills and a ball pit selfie. What I got was bruised knees, a slight case of neck regret (hello air time), and enough serotonin to fuel a week. We caught literal air. The slide staff? Alert and safety-focused, but not killjoys. No screaming. No hovering. Just chill vibes and quiet supervision. Also: there are outlets everywhere, so while your body recharges from mild impact trauma, your phone can too. Let's just say... I left Slick City looking like I'd done a round at Ninja Warrior but feeling like a kid on a Pixy Stix high. And yes, I, @CassandraBankson came out of that park with knees that needed a med-esthe treatment but a soul that felt spiritually exfoliated. If I had to point something out: It's far. Like "Do I need a passport for this suburb?" far from central Houston. And there's no in/out privilege once you're in, so eat before or plan to check out their café. Logistics: Parking is free and endless. Expect about a 45-60 min drive if you're downtown or by the airport. Slide sessions are by the time, and yes--first-timers must buy their $5 "slick socks." There's an arcade and café on-site, but we didn't make it because we were too busy surviving the slides. The Nitty Gritty Stuff: Floors were impressively clean. Didn't peep the bathrooms, but no weird smells or sketchy corners. Staff was friendly and quick to assist. Honestly? Clean, safe, chaotic fun. Would I go back? Yes--but this time with a GoPro, knee pads, and backup snacks. If you're thinking about going--do it. Sign the waiver. Bring the Band-Aids. Then thank me later. Been to Slick City? Is a amazing concept for family entertainment for all ages even just as spectator you'll have fun kids and adults coming down the slides

The staff that we encountered was very aloof and incompetent besides the person at the register. There was never any greetings by any staff and the employees working the gate at the children's play ground greeted us with blank stares and slow to let us in along with seemingly very checked out. They also would not allow me to accompany my daughter when she wanted me to join her and play with her in there. I never have issues with accompanying her at other places with these types of playground areas. I'm very disappointed in this place. Not worth the money in my opinion and won't be recommending this place to anyone. read more

Took my niece and nephew today. Huge place! Plenty of chairs and seating room. They have about 9 or 10 big slides. $25 for 90 mins plus $5 for socks. Plenty of mats to use that you slide on. I went right when they opened at 10am and the first 30 or so mins we didn't have to wait. After a while it did get a little more busy but the waits were only a few mins at most. It's a lot of fun but extremely exhausting if you're a grown up child like myself. My favorite slides were the ones that launch you off and you catch some air. Bottle water is $4. Ouch. Fun experience but it's on the pricey side. I would go back. read more

Totally different and action packed fun for kids and adults. We will have our daughter's birthday here. They give you 1.5 hours to enjoy the facility, and it's plenty of time because you climbs stairs to get to the top of the slides. Our daughter is six and was able to go on all the slides. I could see this place getting real busy on the weekends or summer time. read more

It was so much fun! They have go-karts, a toddler area, bouncy basketball courts, and don't forget the many slides! I'm 15 and normally these places are considered for children but my whole family went and did it. Even my 50 year old parents got on every slide! It's all inclusive and a blast, one side remark tho ;always wear pants of some sort so you don't burn your knees and never go on the racing white slide unless you like going airborne :) read more

The staff at this slide park is incredibly unprofessional. No stars and 0/10 review. My nephew had his birthday party here and all of the immediate staff are ages 15-18. They curse at adults and the arrogance is unmatched. One worker told a member of our party that they would "f*ck them up". Mind you, this is a 17 year old girl talking to a woman in her 30's. AT A SLIDE PARK. I'm sorry but it's just never that serious. I understand that they're kids and they are learning how to transition into adulthood, but this is bad for business. Management is mediocre. Police were called. We got kicked out of the slide park. Not a good experience at all. Just go spend your money somewhere else. Or at least at another location. read more

Amazing experience! My girlfriend's and I went to this location and we decided to do the 90 min session at 7pm it was such a great time! Patrick and his team went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time as well as everyone there. I witnessed Patrick walking around checking on everyone making sure they were having a good time . The place is very well kept and everyone working today was incredibly friendly. I saw this place on TikTok and wanted to check it out for some late night fun and I do not regret it. It's a great price for a great experience! The only thing that would make it better would be some wine coolers or beer lol. 10/10 would recommend!!! read more

Went on a Thursday and the staff was too busy conversing with one another and not paying attention to the children at the top of the slides resulting in multiple kids sliding at once which resulted in my child getting hurt. We were also required to buy their socks for my youngest who already had socks meant for places like this, but because it wasn't their brand so it was an issue. We obliged and purchased socks however they were more of a safety issue than anything because even the smallest size meant for younger children kept falling off my toddler. They have a toddler area for kids 3 and under (only one structure) so I definitely would've thought they'd offer socks meant for toddlers. Looks like they need to look into more inclusive sizes. They were really big sticklers about the socks, however I saw multiple people with regular socks on so it felt as if the staff picks and chooses who to say something to. Will not be returning and from online it looked a lot bigger with way more slides than what there actually is. Not worth the money in my opinion. read more
