We went right when it opened at 11am and I think that was ideal. We paid online for passes + their proprietary socks and filled out the waivers ahead of time so it was checking in and getting straight to playing. It wasn't crowded or chaotic. We did our 90 minutes and then explored Ontario Mills for a while-- when we walked back around 2 pm Slick City was INSANE. Tons of people, crazy loud, and overall a level of chaos that would've ruined my first experience. So come early if you're like me. There's a lot of variety in the types of slides, though it seems like there isn't a good middle ground for thrill seekers. Most of the slides are regular playground slide "intensity" but novel in the ways that you might end up in a sort of lazy half pipe, get spun around by a banking curve, or fall through the slide version of a toilet bowl. Ha. They're fun and pretty tame. Then there are three DRASTICALLY more intense slides: 2 very steep green slides that enthusiastically yeet you into an inflatable crash pad, with enough hang time that they had to put signs up prohibiting doing full-on*flips* at the end. These were just the right amount of thrill for me! Then there's 1 single rider blue slide that I can't believe is just in among the normal ones lol. The first part is essentially a free fall. As in, I wasn't even touching the slide, just falling face first toward the eventual sloping bit of the slide, at which point I made contact and got the air huffed out of me before my lower body banged against it. I decided there was a good chance of me scorpioning myself if I did that slide anymore and made a retreat to a less spicy slide (once my fight or flight instinct calmed down lol). There's a snack bar with the kinds of foods you'd expect. If you're thirsty there are fountain drinks, bottled drinks like Gatorade and Celsius. Thumbs down that there's no drinking fountain or water bottle filler. They have bottled water for $4 or you can ask for a cup of tap water for freeeeeee. But I had to wait 10 mins in line to ask for that free cup... So a water bottle filler would be a considerate move for families, even if it wouldn't make them more money. You hear that, management?! :-) Overall it was a fun way to spend an hour and half. The staff were nice and it felt pretty clean. With the price of admission, it will only be a special occasion thing though. The price and the lack of easy water access makes it overall 4 stars, but we had a great time. read more

Today was our first time here and will be our last. DO NOT order food here!! I was finishing up helping my toddler use the toilet and heard the urinal flush. I opened the stall door and saw a male employee walked out without washing his hands. I didn't get a good look at who it was but brought it up to one of the supervisors. I was not ready for her reply when she said that they just had a meeting regarding this issue. However, after about 30 minutes, it started to feel repetitive, and there was not much else to do. It was a good experience, but I expected more activities to keep me entertained longer. This place is chaos but fun chaos. The kids enjoyed it immensely. They had a blast. There are employees all over the place making sure everyone is safe. There was never a shortage of the mats for sliding. There's TONS of places for parents to sit. There are plenty of charging ports so bring your chargers when you come. They don't allow outside food but there is a typical food service counter with snacks and drinks. There are areas for younger kids as well so for those with toddlers, you can enjoy this place too without worrying about big kids toppling them over. New place in town at the Ontario mills mall. Located on the north side of mall between Q and Market broiler. Parking can be a bit of a hassle during the weekend rush but valet parking also available if you don't want to search for a spot. Upon visiting we received a warm welcome from staff who were very overwhelmed from the line of guests. It was super crowded but the whole fam had a great time running up all those many stairs to ride the slides. Adults and kids pricing menu pay upon entry. Seating areas and lockers available. Anyone who enters facility will need to sign a waiver then you'll receive wristband. Purchase socks along with general admission or annual pass. Food items available but if you don't wanna wait so long there's plenty of food and drink options nearby. Great location for a change of pace entertainment. read more

I was happy with the staff; everyone is very friendly, even the manager. The staff was constantly cleaning, taking trash out and the bathroom was very clean with the amount of people that showed up. I was very surprised how presentable took this place was. I did notice that it wasn't as busy as I expected, especially with the grand opening. One thing I noticed is that there was no promotions or discounts available to the public. I would recommend this place for the amount of FUN we had, but for the price amount some of it would be hard for it to be affordable to other people so having a discount or promotion would bring attention to people and attract more customers. read more

I had a very disappointing and stressful experience at Slick City Action Park. I visited with my children to let them enjoy the park and initially purchased tickets without any issues. Shortly after completing the transaction and helping my children get ready for the slides, I received a notification from my bank showing a second charge from Slick City that I did not authorize. I immediately went back to the cashier to ask for help and requested that management review cameras or investigate how the second transaction happened. At first I was told loss prevention was not there, and later I was told there were no cameras. As a parent, hearing that there may not be security cameras in a children's entertainment establishment with multiple exits was extremely concerning. When the manager, Victor, came to speak with me, I felt dismissed instead of helped. Rather than focusing on the unauthorized charge itself, the conversation became centered around defending the cashier. I repeatedly explained that I personally inserted my card for the first transaction and that my issue was the second unauthorized charge that appeared afterward. I asked if there was anything they could do to help, including a refund or proper incident report, and I was denied assistance. The written statement they prepared did not accurately reflect what I reported, so I refused to sign it. What upset me most was that after trying to calmly advocate for myself while also supervising my children, mall security was eventually called and I was asked to leave for allegedly "causing a disturbance." I was emotional and firm because I was distressed about my money and concerned about safety, but I was not threatening anyone or behaving aggressively. No customer should feel dismissed or removed simply for reporting an unauthorized charge and asking questions. I came there to create a fun experience for my children, and instead left feeling embarrassed, unsupported, and frustrated. read more

So, from a kid POV, this place was AMAZING. So many fun and different slides and the lines were not bad and went fairly quickly. There is a dedicated are just for the smaller kids, which was nice. My kid and his buddies could have stayed for another two hours had I let them, but we needed to go and my head was aching from the noise level. We pre-bought our tickets for a 315pm reservation. We ended up waiting in line for another 30 minutes before actually getting in. They also did not have the variety of sock sizes for my little guy. He ended up with socks way too small for his feet, and the next size up would have made him trip. The kiddos wanted snacks/drinks, and that also ended up being a huge chore. There were only three ppl ahead of me, but it took about 20 minutes to take and fill orders. What the heck?!?!?! Bathrooms needed to be serviced more often. I get it-kids miss the toilet all the time, but sheesh-- towels and soap dispensers were empty. Kids were coming and going in those socks. Feet were bound to get wet. Ppl were hoarding mats. I did a trial run at Slick City before my daughter's birthday party there and honestly it completely changed my mind. I canceled the booking immediately afterwards. Instead of focusing on safety or making kids feel welcome, they seemed obsessed with enforcing sock purchases every two seconds. I was only accompanying my daughter up the extremely steep stairs, yet staff kept following us around repeatedly reminding me about their special socks like it was the most important thing in the building. If they had mentioned it once, fine -- next time I would've bought them. But the constant harassment was ridiculous. Meanwhile, kids are climbing dangerously steep stairs and could easily trip or fall, yet their priority seemed to be selling socks instead of creating a safe and enjoyable experience. And reminder if you do go , they don't accept other indoor playgrounds grip socks !!! The whole atmosphere felt more money-hungry than family-friendly. Sign the waiver pay for my son, this is a pay by minutes place and because it's going to be popular I respect that. you have to buy their socks but you get to keep them and spectators are free. 17 slides, so much to do, thrills for all ages even the little thrill seekers have their own space to explore. It was a decent time until all the employees on the floor started to say you needed slick city specific socks to accompany my daughter. Didn't make sense. Employees wearing shoes on the slides but parents had to buy socks? It's strictly a money play and it's really annoying when you are just trying to help your daughter up the steps on the slides. But it saved me over $2000 so that's good. If you go make sure everyone has slick city specific socks on only. read more

I recently visited Slick City and unfortunately had a disappointing experience with customer service. The representatives on the floor came across as rude and unhelpful. I asked a simple question about whether I could wear grip socks from a similar venue, and was told no without any clear explanation. Since these socks are generally the same, the response felt unnecessary and dismissive. As I was leaving toward the mall, two female staff members approached me in a way that felt overly aggressive for the situation. The interaction could have been handled much more professionally and respectfully. There was no need for that level of confrontation--clear and courteous communication would have made a big difference. Overall, the experience left a negative impression. I hope management takes feedback seriously and works on improving how staff interact with customers. read more

We go in and some lady takes the pad away from my son and tells us he can't use the pad . This is all we came for . Would not recommend this place for hosting events or parties. The behavior of the event manager was extremely rude, unprofessional, and honestly quite alarming--especially given that children were present. We attended a birthday party here with family. As the host was organizing food and preparing for cake cutting, parents were gathering the kids. Suddenly, the event manager (Mark) stormed in and loudly shouted, "This event is cancelled, you've all been refunded--everyone get out!" His tone was aggressive and inappropriate, especially in front of a group of children. Guests were confused and had no idea what was happening. Kids got scared and ran to their parents. We were then threatened that the police would be called if we didn't leave immediately. Everything--food, cake, decorations--had to be rushed out in a chaotic situation. Outside, while guests were trying to regroup, Mark came out again and continued shouting, telling everyone to leave. When someone pointed out we were on a public road, he shifted to saying we were blocking the entrance. The whole situation was handled very poorly. Later, we learned this all stemmed from a miscommunication between the host and party manager regarding the timing. The host had worked with one of their event representative for the 11-1 for play and 1-2 for food and cake, but the manager looks was not communicated and insisted everything had to end by 1. Regardless of the misunderstanding, there was absolutely no justification for treating guests--especially children--in such a hostile and threatening manner. The one line looked like people who had paid online and the other line had the waivers looked like people wanting to pay there. So we stood in that line. 20 mins later only to be told both lines were for prepaid and they are only accepting online reservations for today. I give it a 2 because I went to here to celebrate my son's birthday with his cousins. The place from a child's perspective is fun. Great concept and can help with conquering fears. The kids enjoyed themselves however, my sister's debit card was stolen. She purchased her tickets and was alerted someone else made a purchase at slick city from her card shortly after. She went to talk to the cashiers and management. Once we got back together she let me know the situation and how the place doesn't even have cameras! This is not acceptable at a children entertainment place. The manager later approached us while we are supervising our children and he starts directing his questions to me and asks are we ready to give him our number for the report. I asked was he the one in charge? And he responded with an attitude that he was. I said ok we are just about to get our children one second. And he said rudely well when y'all are ready I'll be in the cafe area. First of all the situation didn't happen to me so to even be talking to me about it and rudely was unacceptable. We finally gather the children and make it to the area and the manager victor was not over there. My sister was talking to a lady only the whole time. I didn't hear the conversation as I was supervising our kids but I could see them. The lady had a clip board and they were conversing. My sister was upset about the situation I mean who wouldn't be!? But She kept her composure. They tried to blame her for the situation and just dismissed her. Saying she made the purchase although she kept saying she no longer had the card. It was stolen. It was starting to sound and feel like the workers were in on it. They could've just went about it a better way instead of getting attitudes. We were trying to let the kids play the time we paid for and just deal with it later once we left but Mall security was called and we were told to leave like we were the bad guys. I think we had maybe 20 mins left. No one yelled, cussed, or anything to that degree. We were just there with 4 children trying to keep up with them. The concept of the place is cool. DO NOT COME HERE if you have little little ones. We had to pay $15 for our 15 month old to play and once we were here and trying to play they stopped us saying we couldn't help her to the slides or in the jungle gym area. (That's specifically for the little ones) idk how they expect the little ones to be able to do it by themselves unassisted, it seems to be a huge liability if they were to just let a 15 month old to go down the slide by themselves. Took my son here for the weekend really cool place looks like fun. I purchased tickets online for $53 when I got there I was pissed off because I had to stand in an extremely long line. What's the point of purchasing and you still stand in line also my son was playing dodgeball basketball. There were no employees in they're watching and they had several fights breakout. Looks like they need to do some tweaking and hire some people. They look understaffed on the weekends so if you're there, make sure you watch your kids because they will get hurt. other than that, I will try one more time.
